*3.5* The basic bones of the story are very similar to another book I recently read by this author. BUT, I still really enjoyed this story.
Even though I believe this is basic erotica, there are elements of humanity that this author weaves in her stories…and that adds a little heft to what would normally just be a cheesy quick read.

I don't think I've related to a quote to this extent in such a long time 😭😭. I'm genuinely so surprised by how deep this novella was. It hit quite close to home in a lot of ways that felt really personal, and in a way that I really wasn't expecting- but it was such a nice read, and was definitely up there in terms of CW's novellas for me.
Her ability to actually make you feel something, in such a short story- whilst still maintaining that lightheartedness that a novella can bring, is just something that I've grown to love so much about her writing.
I really connected with this story, and genuinely did enjoy it at the same time 😭. The chemistry in this one was there. But yeah, I really liked this one.

Whewww, another spicy age gap novella from Cleo White! I like how this one touched on a real issue - depression. This is about a silver fox actor, Cash, and how he meets newbie actress, Noa. Sparks fly immediately!

I really enjoyed this one. It was spicy, sweet, and heartwarming. <3

This was a very cute story. Despite the talk of depression and the impact on the MMC’s life, it managed to stay fairly sweet storyline, focusing mostly on the love. The FMC was just starting out as an actress doing commercials etc. and she got a call-back for a major part in a major motion picture, leading beside her childhood crush, the MMC who would be playing her father. Unbeknownst to the FMC, the MMC had seen her audition tape after the original lead had been dropped from the project and he pushed the director to hire her.
There’s drama surrounding the MMC’s depression and secrets of his role in her hiring and a huge amount of tenderness and sweetness in his growing love for her as he pursues her and their relationship grows. The FMC was very disbelieving for a long time, she couldn’t believe she got the part & didn’t feel confident she deserved it. She fell in love with the MMC fairly quickly.
The steam in the story was great & also sweet and hot. I dug it 😉
The parts that bothered me in this story is we never get to see her interact with her family, tell them about landing such a huge role in a movie expected to receive awards. We see very little of them acting, like it’s only a few sentences, given that this story focused on that movie, it felt like a big hole in the story. The main reason this was 3.5⭐️’s to me is that I needed more at the end of the story. A SIX years later epilogue is way too far in the future without one more recently. What happens when the movie comes out? Does she get other roles? Did the movie win any awards?

I still enjoyed the story and it’s a great add to Cleo’s story collection. It’s worth a read if you dig her stuff!.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Noa gave up her job as a barista and moved to LA using the money that her grandmother had left her, she decided to chase her true dream of being an actress but she had no clue that she was about to act alongside a legend, like Cash Lowell, he maybe in his forties but he is the definition of a Silver Fox. She is worried about how she is going to pull off being cast with him and hide that he affects her in a way that no other man ever has. The time that they spend with each other on and off the set the connection that they share grows to something she never thought she would have ever a true love, but when she overhears a comment will a misunderstanding ruin what they could have had?
Cash Lowell is meant to have it all a successful award-winning acting career and everything laid at his feet and on the surface that is exactly what the world sees. But recently he has been struggling with depression for years but hiding it from the world. That is until recently when he finally admitted to what was going on. He has finally got the help he needed and is ready to face the world again. About to start filming a new film when the model that had been cast as his daughter gets in trouble and needs to be cast and that is when Noa Peters entered his world and turned everything upside down, she was who he wanted for the part and luckily the director agreed with him. She is all that he can think of, and they have a connection like he has never known, the more time he spends with her the more he falls under her spell but how will she react when she discovers that he wanted her for the part, will everything that they have shared be lost forever?
This is a fab quick read with an insta love that felt genuine and the gentle way in which Cash’s depression was discussed was perfect. Highly recommended read and am looking forward to reading more from this author. 4* read

Another awesome read by this author.
Actor is an age gap romance between an A-list actor and a newbie actress. It might sound cliche but I love how intense and well developed the characters are in this short read. There is a plot, there is conflict and there is growth. A really well rounded read.
Cash and Nao are unique and endearing characters that I instantly loved. Cash isn't your typical manwhore actor, he is compassionate, supportive and completely devoted to Nao. Their relationship isn't instantly physical, which I really loved! Although they both are attracted to each other, they form a real friendship before they take the plunge and go after a romantic relationship. Nao is a mature heroine, she's young but she's also determined and strong enough to go after her dreams. I liked that she thought for herself and even when emotions got high, she could take a step back, re-evaluate, stand up for herself and get answers.
Cleo White writes great characters, touching romance and spicy scenes in a short page count that will leave you wanting more. Lucky me that she had a few more books in this series and others that I already have my eye on! Can't wait to read more.
If you like flawed but redeemable characters, emotional growth, swoon-y romance, x-rated dirty talk and plenty of spice, I highly recommend this read and this author.

Looking for a quick ägë-gäp römäncë with some swëët & spïcy scënës? Actor by Cleo White is the answer! 💜 It is the first book in the Silver Fox A-Lister's Series. (Artist & Rocker are connecting stand-alones to also enjoy. 😉) Even though this is a short read, Cleo packs in a lot of detailed world-building, emotional connections & of course the sëx! Okay, woah! I found Cleo White on booksta and I was so intrigued with one the posts so I went on good reads and started with this book. I was a little skeptical at first because there was only 80 pages? And then I realized it was one of those insta-love books that were short and everything happens pretty quickly and left to the imagination with all the time skips. I can say that I actually enjoyed reading it and I’m loving the quick read!
The spice was spicing, yes everything happens fast but that’s honestly a great part of quick reads.
This story is about an aspiring actress who ends up landing a big role playing a daughter to a big a-list star that she admired in her younger days. Things get steamy between the two co-stars and there’s actually a plot, smut, miscommunication trope and most importantly a HEA. I’ll definitely be reading more of Cleo’s book for a good steamy quick read to get me out of a reading stump. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick steam packed read and into age gap romance tropes!

I honestly didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. I was in the mood for a quick smut no plot kind of story and I thought that was what I was gonna get...
I couldn't have been more wrong.
Sure, there is some smut, but it only happens near the ending. And no, I'm not complaining about it. This was the first slow burn that didn't make me lose interest mid-read. Quite the opposite, actually... I was hooked from start to finish.
I hope the other two books in this series are just as good 🥵🤞🏻

This was a sweet and steamy romance between older actor, Cash, and new actress, Noa. The chemistry between them was smoking ;P However, this story touched on depression, and how it can impact a person, and I really liked this realistic aspect to the story. Rooting hard for these two to find a way to be together, and support each other, was really quite heartwarming and a joy to read. This is a shorter read but it didn't lack for anything. Well done!

Sparks ignites when these two meet and cupids bow has hit the spot! Will these two ignore the passion swelling within and keep within the terms of the contract or go with the rules are meant to be broken. This story kept me glued to the pages.

WOW!!!
I have a new favorite novella author. I’m usually pretty picky when it comes to novellas because I have a hard time believing in the love and believing in the characters because it can be hard to do in short form stuff. But Cassie mint, Jessa Kane, Ella Goode, Lucy darling and now Cleo White are my instant download novella authors!!!
This novella was instalove but I was immediately hooked by the characters.

lunchtime length read
So I’ve binged a few books in a row by this author and with this being the first one in the A-Listers series, I am in for reading the rest. I have to say that this author writes mental health in a familiar, real-world and thereby gripping fashion. I feel like the characters were a bit less developed than I have seen in White’s other work but still enjoyable to read.

So fucking cute. I was feeling a little slumpy, after starting 8 different books today, I decided on a novella to make the pain go away. God it was a great decision, this is only the second novella I have ever read. If you go into these stories as incredibly fast paced, wholesome, and entertaining then you will have an amazing time. I loved the characters and the emotions shared between them. Genuine sadness came over me when it was done.

I’m so happy I finally read this. I hate that I took as long as I did. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting I’ll be honest. It’s so real and raw and it just screams that Cleo or someone close to them lived it. As someone with mental health struggles this really resonates with me. It was a beautiful story. It was also spicy so really it had it all.

Wow, this is the best instalove story I’ve read. It didn’t feel rushed at all, and I totally bought it. I love how the author handled depression and the way she mad this part of the story. Incredible writing, and the spice was fantastic. I absolutely want to devour everything she’s written

I loved this book! Loved the storyline as well as how good the representation for the characters struggle really came to be. It is not easy to write storylines like this, however, Cleo does such an amazing job with it. So glad I found her books! But also, the spice! 🥵

It was a nice novella but I wish it was longer. I feel like this was the outline of a longer story. I wanted the relationship between Cash and Noa and their dynamic to be explored more.
