A teenage girl tempted from this world over a carpet of bluebells…
A house full of shadows and a presence waiting to be let in…

Finally, everything is going well for Erica Murray, witch and paranormal investigator. That is, until the mother of a missing teenage girl recognises Erica’s fae lover, Alfie, for what he is and begs for his help. Erica must step into Alfie’s world to find the girl, but it means discovering secrets about her lover that might tear them apart.

Meanwhile, Jess Tidswell has other things on her mind. Her parents are meeting Jess’s new dog and, more importantly, her fiancé for the first time.
That’s not the worst of her problems. Her parents, keen for a new adventure, have bought a house and it comes with some unexpected residents. Shadows that move of their own accord, a curious spirit and something malevolent that lives on the periphery.

Unable to contact Erica, can Jess handle this terrifying ordeal on her own and protect her family?
Deep in another world, can Erica find the missing teenager and bring her out of harm’s way?

It’s going to be a long weekend.

A few reviews have made me aware that there were too many loose bowels. I apologise for this editing error. This has now been corrected. Please rest assured that the characters in Bewitching are still scared in places, but they're no longer over-sharing.

I found myself good lost in the fae world and Ioved the characters my favioure where Jess , Erica and Jess daughter Ruby. I found the story grabed me from page 1 and i could not put it down. I cant wait for the next book. This is the first book i have read in the seris and i will be reading the others . I found the story to be magical and felt like i was on the adventure with Jess and Erica. Jess is at her mum and dad new house and she founds some unexpected visters she needs to rid of and her mum snd dad actully get to see her in her new job. Erica is with Alfie and is looking for Bethany and Fen in tbe Faecworld. Fantastic plot and great characters. I was sad when it ended wanter it to carry on.

Bewitching is an easy to read and fast paced fantasy novel. Bewitching is the fourth book in the Murray & Tidswell paranormal investigations series although works as a stand alone. Having not read the three previous books I was still able to read Bewitching without any confusion with what was going on. There are a great mix of characters and I really enjoyed what was happening with the characters Erica and Jess. My only pet peeve with this book was the use of the words "her bowels loosened" which I found was mentioned too often within the story. Otherwise this was a great read which I managed to finish within 24 hours.

I thought parts of this book were interesting and good.
I could have done without the loosen bowels comments repeatedly. The chapters alternated between characters and I found the ghost chapters much more interesting.
I think if you want to read this book start with the first one in the series, it will help. The fae only seemed interested in sex and keeping their girl happy
Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for the early copy

The fourth book in the Murray Tidswell Paranormal investigations series. I found Bewitching was easily read as a standalone. A fantasy story that kept me reading without break until I HAD to go to sleep.

Fantasy is a genre I have discovered in the last few years. I never realised just what I was missing by not reading fantasy. Bewitching is an great example of what I missed by not reading fantasy. Captivating stories and characters that I wanted to know everything about. J E Nice has a way of writing that totally draws the reader into the heart of the story so easily.

I was whisked away from my normal life and into a world of make believe and I believed every word written. I love to be able to leave reality for a world of magic and everything that goes with it. The story flowed so well and with such pace. The characters were so real, like I could reach out and touch them.

This is one series I will be adding to the Kindle. Just because I can't just leave Erica and Jess behind for good. I enjoyed the time I spent reading Bewitching and would recommend any reader who likes fantasy novels to give this book a go.
Thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and J E Nice for the ebook to write my honest review.

I really liked the sound of the blurb on this, but then I found out it is book 4 of a series. So that put me off a bit, as I haven't read any of the others. But I had no need to worry as this can be read as a standalone. it does refer back to the other books but you don't need to have read them.

This follows Erica and Jess who are apart of a paranormal investigation team. In this book Erica is asked to help out when a women's teenage daughter goes missing and may have been taking by a fae. While Erica is visiting the new house her mum and dad have just bought but there is something evil inside.

This was a quick read for me and I really enjoyed all the character's. I loved all the ghostly goings on and the fae world and will be picking up the next book in the series and catching up with the ones I have missed.

The only bad thing I have to say about this book is the amount of times the author describes the characters as having loosening bowels when they get a bit scared. She mentions 'loose bowels' at least 5 or 6 times, which started getting on my nerves.

But a solid 4 stars and cant wait to read more.
