Al-Quran Al-Kareem is a translation learning method of word-by-word Al-Quran with every word and sentence is colored differently, in Arabic and English. Every word in the Quran was translated literally so that the reader could understand the meaning of every single word. It needs to be remembered that not all literal translation represents the exact meaning of the word since the Quran uses varied Arabic language style and sometimes metaphor. Accordingly, to understand the full or intended meaning of the word or the verse, Sahih International the Holy Quran Translation had been included in this edition. However, to comprehend more of the meaning of the Quran, reading the commentary of the Quran from trusted scholars would be necessary. maa syaa allah Tabarakallah bestnya al quran amazing ni!!! dah lama cari al quran ni, alhamdulillah terima kasih karya bestari.. my favourite al quran since teenager 10years ago.. this one is the best seller quran, yg mana baca terjemahan still xfhm, ambil al quran ni menerangkan setiap kisah bagi setiap terjemahan
I guess this is gonna be on my currently reading for a while since I’m never really gonna be done reading or memorizing the Quran itself in its original Arabic or it might take me my whole life haha. and take this as a review of this particular version of the mushaf . because there is no way i’m going to review the Quran itself if I believe as a Muslim it’s literally the word of God.
this copy of the mushaf that’s a large print version is gorgeous and also easier to read visually personally I found the normal book size version of this with the yellow cover harder to read since the font was kind of small. not very portable though ha ha but good for at home use. The color coding of the text is also helpful if you are like me and still learning Arabic and learning tajweed/recitation rules I will say my teacher did warn me if you get too used to the color coding. It will be harder to switch to a copy of the text where it’s all one color if you get too used to relying on the different colors to signal to you the different recitation rules. I would say practice with both but think of this one like training wheels.
I will also say with all due respect I do not think this is the best English translation. I only read this to have a copy of the Quranic Arabic text itself. I find the English kind of clunky and oddly translated and they use some words sometimes that are very archaic and not commonly actually used in modern spoken English, so it actually makes certain sections more cryptic and hard to understand. I will try to find an example, but I can’t think of a specific one off the top of my head, but this is just something I’ve noticed as I’ve been reading the translations. if you are an English speaker, I would highly recommend the Clear Quran by Dr. Mustafa Khattab for a translation. The Abdul Halim translation is also good and even more accessible as it uses even more modern English for simplicity and ease of understanding.
Alhamdulillah khatam juga walaupun dekat dua tahun. Sikit2 lama habis. Kali ni baca side to side dengan tafsir. Insha Allah will start over again and finish in 2 years' time jugak kot 🤭.
