I can't get him out of my head. Literally, our communicators are fried and he's the only chance I have off this planet.
When the big, green grumpy alien falls for a trap and the line between our broken communicators goes silent, I may be his only hope of survival. But without him, I may be stuck on Krelis until the day I die since the whole planet is preparing for a war against an outlaw invasion. He may have been some kind of spy for a neighboring planet, and I may have had a bigger mission to solve, but without each other both of our objectives will be lost.
Gaven: I didn’t get the nickname Sky Bender because I popped out of camouflage to enforce compliance of our treaties. It was because I was around to punish those that acted against the better interests of peace… and though I didn’t fly, I saw everything. I just didn’t see her… getting in my way. Having a human exchange come to Krelis at a time like this was bad luck, but she kept getting herself involved and I couldn’t keep my distance. F*ck whatever plans I had, I had no choice but to keep her at my side and out of trouble while I stopped Queen Kai and Commander Li-aq from destroying the hive while Mabel was offworld.
Ashley:
This was all wrong. I was so close to finding the outlaw responsible for ruining so many lives. Next thing I knew I was waking up from stasis on the other side of the known universe of Trillume, and my team was nowhere to be seen. Getting off this planet and back to my mission was priority, until I realized this whole planet was ground zero for the Star Breaker’s nanobugs and could hold the key to finally capturing them. If only a stubborn green alien didn’t think he was some kind of savior and preventing me from continuing my search. First, I had to give him the slip, but no matter what I try he keeps showing up, and the way he looks at me makes me hope he never stops finding me.
Book three of the Treasures of Trillume fated mates alien romances, all standalone steamy adventures filled with political intrigue, angsty love, and a few twists and surprises along the way. Intended for mature readers, these couples do not fade to black, and you'll be devouring the pages towards each HEAFN. Though all of the romances are standalone, it is recommended you read book two, Her Alien Prince, to enjoy this one more, as this one does contain some spoilers for that book. (Ashley is also previously in Her Alien Savior, if you want to know some of her story before now.) Though knowing the "ending" doesn't always spoil the journey, so it's okay if you read this one first.
Sky Robert is a mom of two tiny humans in training, narrates audiobooks for fantasy/sci-fi indie authors, and when she isn’t writing (which is MOST of the time) you can find her consuming copious amounts of coffee, promoting indie authors, reading alien smut, fantasy, sci-fi and romance books, chowing down on Indian butter chicken, and when she actually hangs out with people in person, in real life, outside of the internet, (gasps) she’s playing board or card games. All around nerd, lover of the strange, and all things fantastical. Tropes: Fated mates, knotting, a special peen that forms to fit and fill, he calls her Goddess, we get political intrigue/sci-fi adventure, spice with plot, and last but not least the human saves the alien!
TW: infertility (Galaxy wide fertility crisis discussed, though there is no oops pregnancy/breeding trope- though the couple does want offspring), on-page death - violence and tribal cannibalism of dead warriors, possible feelings of dubious consent due to altered/fevered mind state, but though both parties aren't aware of the reality, they are fully in consent of their 'dream' choices, Strong Language and explicit open-door spicy times, Captivity, manipulation, and abuse of power by leadership, Self-harm, suicidal attempts through reckless violence as well as deriving pleasure from focusing internal pain through external aggression and sex (though containing dark themes, the story itself is full of empowerment, acceptance, and seeking to please their fated mate. The MMC is a grumpy cinnamon roll, do anything for his mate, burn the rest of the world feels.)
"I would let the universe burn if it meant keeping you, Goddess."
Griping, “edge of your seat”, and very steamy addition to the series. This series blows me away!! Incredible world building again by Ms Robert. The action takes place on Krelin where Ashley, a human spy, has arrived under a false identity to try and find and eliminate Al-Hez (also known as Sky Breaker), a notorious outlaw whose nanotechnology has caused galactic-wide infertility issues. She is hijacked to Krelin, where she is rescued from being sold to a brothel but then stolen and held captive by Commander Li-aq . Li-aq has been loyal to Krelin‘s previous mentally unstable Queen Kai and remains up to no good. Under the influence of a fever from metal toxicity, Ashley dream-mates with Gaven, a spy from a nearby planet, Estreldez. Gaven wants to eliminate Commander Li-aq, thereby protecting the new Queen Mab whom he previously thought was his mate.
Ashley escapes and is found by Gaven. They have instant chemistry and are well suited. They both also know regret for some of their actions and you only like them more for their faults. Ashley is a great warrior type FMC-she is no lightweight!! A few twists later (which I never saw coming) and my mind was totally blown!! I recommend starting the series at the beginning but there is a great glossary and synopsis that you don’t strictly need to-but you will want to, this series is that good!!!!! Can’t wait for the next book, Her Alien Starbreaker!!.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I'm absolutely addicted to this series! I had high expectations in Her alien insurgent but Sky Robert trumped them to the ground High tension, intrigue ,secrets and manipulation ,twists and turns enough to leave you on the edge, a perfect weaved plot and storyline, the characters are detailed and often complex, so good that sometimes felt real. And steam enough to burn your panties! A special mention:-Gaven has a very special feature that adapts uniquely to his mate.... An absolute must read!
”You're right," she said with breathless words, "This isn't a dream. And even if it were, we have every f*cking right to enjoy whatever pleasure we can get out of this f*cked-up world."

Rating: 4/5 Spice: 2/5
This is book 3 of the Treasures of Trillume series and although it is technically a standalone, I strongly recommend that you start from the beginning before diving into this one. I didn’t have time to do that and I definitely felt like I didn’t have the whole picture to be fully immersed. There was, however, a nice recap at the beginning and references to past events throughout the story so I wasn’t lost. That glossary at the beginning was my best friend 😆
One thing I love about Sky’s books is that her world building and alien species are different, detailed and well thought out. Our MMC, Gaven, is an Estreld: an alien species that feed off moon radiation and rocks, and can form loh (jewels) on their bodies as weapons. How awesome is that?? The last thing he expected when going on a mission is meet his human mate, Ashley, who is on a quest of her own. Their meeting and time together were well woven into the action but I definitely wanted more to have something concrete of their bond beyond what was fated.
Gaven and Ashley are great characters and I know I will appreciate them even more by going back to read book 1 of the series.
This series has me hooked! After a few books into a series, things can get… stagnant. You know – same story, different characters. Well, not with Sky wielding her magic pen! The world building and plot mesh together so intricately I felt as if I was in the story. There is action, adventure, intrigue, subterfuge and alien… interactions. My ereader is still steaming – either from my rapid fire, can’t put it down reading or from the HEAT interwoven in this book. Ashly is a human very determined to catch an intergalactic criminal. Gaven is a Krelin on the trail of a criminal mastermind. Both are dedicated to stopping their targets. As they come together, they realize they are after the same alien. So, they join… forces. Steamy, steamy ereader! This is book three of the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the books in order as the storyline unfolds better book by book. I received an ARC copy, and this is a voluntary, honest review.
Gavin and Ashley He is a spy, She is a hacker, a match made in heaven in my mind. He is triyng to keep the peace by catching Queen Kai and Li-aq but things went wrong and he finds hiself in a strange dream with a godess. Ashley is on an undercover mission but just as Gavin, things didn't go as planed and She wakes to terrible pains and words about her being sold to plesure houses. Then She is in a strange dream with a demon that calls her godess. I really enjoyed this book, I haven't read the others in this colection but now I want to.
This is the 3rd book in this interconnected series and we finally start getting some answers on some of the lingering questions . I love that Gavin finally got his story and someone to see him and take him how he is.at same time we have Mandy with her own demons to settle and falls for him. Every book gets better and better and all the characters make you feel and fall in love with them. I cannot wait for the next book . Sky made her books an addiction, that we must have.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Trillume empire is full of political twists and turns. So much so it’s hard to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad. I found myself drawn to both sides in this book. Gaven is of course the main male character but Li-aq has a lot of appeal as well. Like real life the characters and situations depicted are multidimensional and have many shadings. These shadings are what make the books so compelling and addictive. I’m completely addicted to the underlying story line that runs through all of the book. The strong romance and spice each of them also contains just make the addiction stronger. So now that I’ve warned you of how addictive they are I strongly recommend you read them and become addicted as well. Well done Sky on another great book. I hope to read many more.
I highly recommend this book if you enjoy sci-fi romance, adventure, action and lots of spice with cool alien appendages. The book is well written with complex characters and a complex, unpredictable plot. It's love at first sight (and a little bit more) for Ashley and Gaven. They really fight for each other. The world building is incredible in this book, as it is for all of Sky Robert's books. I would read at least Her Alien Prince before this book, to get the most out of it. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
- Alien mmc / human fmc - Knotting (More than one) - Molds to her perfectly - Forced Proximity - Fated Mates - A second chance at love for mmc - Prophecy - Spies, spies and more spies; all the spies!! - Big universe/series reveal (GASP)
After assuming the identity of Riley, Ashley ends up on Krelis, instead of Estreldez, suffering from Fume Fever and suddenly thrust into the middle of a mess of a hive and a prophecy she has no interest in. On top of everything, she is interconnected with a gorgeous green alien who knows just how to please her in her dreams. She's pretty sure it's a dream anyways. Gaven has a Goddess connected to his implant and he gets a second chance at love when he claims Ashley as his mate, his real mate, he just has to protect her from Li-aq and possibly the former queen.
I remember why I prefer to read series once they finish, trying to remember everything that happened in Her Alien Bandit - Jewel of the Alien Bandit and Her Alien Prince had me tripping for a second. Once my brain managed to get it's synopsis firing again, I was reminded of why I like this series just a teeny bit more than Sky's other one. I mean, both are amazing, five stars all around, same universe and everything, but this side of the universe is just a little more fun. I love these two species, maybe it's the lack of everything being so out in the open, or maybe it's the wings and horns. Going to go with the wings and horns. Plus there is something charming about the loh. But it also might be because Her Alien Prince was my first...I may never decide. But it was so great to be back.
Ashley is crass, badass, and loves to drop F-bombs; which a couple of the males pick up too and it just amused me to no end every time. Gaven is a doll, broody and lonely, he needed a hug. Though he got other things hugged which worked. He definitely was a fun mmc.
Lots of things happen throughout the coarse of this book, including some rather important plot revels for the overarching universe. We learn more about the decline in the universes birthrates and the person responsible for it as well as the reason why. The gasps that were gusped in my car as my phone read the reveals to me! I am pretty sure the old lady in the car next to me at the stop light looked at me like i was crazy. No spoilers, but looking forward to seeing more from this. I shall be patiently impatiently waiting as I always am for the next one.
Ashley (h) is marooned on the alien planet Krelis during a pivotal moment when the planet is vulnerable to an outlaw invasion and ancient prophecies begin to wreak havoc. Stranded without her team and desperate to continue her mission of capturing a galaxy-wide criminal, Ashley must rely on Gaven (H), a grumpy yet endearing warrior. Stranded with broken communicators and an impending outlaw invasion, Gaven and Ashley discover they are each other's best chance for survival, even as they deal with intense attraction and complex dynamics as they realize they are fated mates. Their relationship intensifies amidst a backdrop of looming threats, including a galactic-wide fertility crisis and tribal violence. Together, Ashley and Gaven navigate the perils of captivity, betrayal, and the moral dilemmas posed by leadership abuse and self-destructive behaviors. Hot and steamy alien-human romance filled with adventure, political intrigue, unexpected twists, fated mates, special equipment, and more.
This book was so good and I loved the banter between Gavin and Ashley that had me laughing out loud and when they eventually realised it’s better to work together for the goal. Ashley is a human female that’s on a mission to track down the outlaw/ criminal that’s ruined so many lives so in to statis the team goes but she gets separated from and ends up waking up on the planet Krelis so now she has to find the criminal on her own and complete the mission but there is gorgeous sexy alien male that keeps getting in her way. Gaven is an Estreld warrior who is a spy and has the nickname Sky Bender because he enforces compliance of the Treaties and now he is on Krelis to find the evil criminal and bring him to justice but there is this sexy little human that keeps getting in his way and as it turns out they are tracking the same guy so to keep her safe they decide to work together but it soon turns into more and gets hot and steamy the closer they come to catching the criminal. How does it all turn out in the end and do they get there man and where does that leave them and is there a future for them.
This was a very enjoyable story to read that's about Gaven a SkyBender/Estreld warrior whose mission is to stop Queen Kai and Commander Li-aq from destroying the hive and Ashley a human whose mission is to catch an intergalactic criminal. When they discover they're after the same criminal they decide to work together. What occurs is a fascinating, adventurous, romantic story with likable characters whose chemistry sizzled. I was thoroughly engaged reading this entertaining story that also had touches of humor. I'd received a copy and volunteer to read and review.
This book is just as well written as her other books. She is such a gifted writer! This one was a little confusing at times, but I managed to figure it out quickly. I have read all her other books, and it still was confusing at times. The romance started off right at the beginning, which was a nice surprise. No angsty back and forth between them. They knew they were mates, and that was that. The smexy scenes were 🔥 as are the rest of her books. Overall, it was a great addition to her Trillume universe and perfect to get lost in for a few hours. Enjoy! I was lucky enough to get the ARC from the author, and these opinions are my own.
This is the story of Ashley and Gaven and it is a riot to read. Lots of steam, trouble, danger, bad guys and a mission or two to run. I enjoyed the story and found myself laughing a few times at these two and the trouble they find along with each other. A few previous characters from the books show up to add some fun to everything. Plus get a few answers too. A few twists and secrets add to it all too.
There’s a lot going on in this book. Trust is not easily won. Everyone seems to have a hidden agenda. When the two main characters first met, it wasn’t very impressive, especially as she was barely coherent with fever and he was wounded trying to protect her. Each thought their mating a wonderful dream. Afterwards he felt deep regret, regret that she could never be his.
I chose to read and review this book. This was very enjoyable. It is well-written with very captivating characters. I liked the interaction between Ashley and Gaven. It has a lot of action, romance, fiction, and sexiness. I cannot wait for the next one. I recommend this series
They will meet in an unexpected way and they may need each other to survive what may be coming. This is such a thrilling read which will have you wanting more from them. You will be unable to put it down once you start reading
I started with Her Alien Bandit, moved on to Her Alien Prince and waited on pins and needles for Her Alien Insurgent. Mean time I finished Her Alienx Exchange and Her Alien Savior. I look forward to seeing what the next in the series is going to do to heat up and entertain me.
I love Sky Robert’s books, especially this series that features a hive setting where the reader feels as though she is traveling through the hive along with the characters. The story is quite compelling and detailed, and the steam is hot and spicy! A whole new world is experienced!
Her Alien Insurgent is the third book in the gripping, science fiction romance series, Treasures of Trillume. I know I’m going to love a book when there’s a glossary and a recap of Book 2 in the front. The glossary in this book was my best friend. Author Sky Robert excels at taking the reader to another place and Her Alien Insurgent is her best yet. I absolutely loved the detailed world-building from the healing nectar to the membrane floors. I felt like our characters were in a giant space beehive.
Neither of our main characters, Ashley and Gaven, are from this new world but are there on separate quests. Gaven is a spy, running from his past failure to protect Queen Mab and Prince Trent from Book 2. If I hadn’t read Her Alien Prince, I wouldn’t have understood why he was broody, his relationship with Gho-Ran, or the prophecy that ensnares our female main character, Ashley. Where Gaven won me over was in his telepathic supporting comments to Ashley. He calls her his “goddess” and his body reforms his sex organs when it identifies her as his mate to please her. Despite the technical explanations and twisty, science fiction plotline, there is blazing hot spice and explosive chemistry between Ashley and Gaven.
Ashley’s a feisty character who takes her fate into her own hands several times with unparalleled courage. I love how she never melted down and was true to her profession as a World Destroyer assassin. She’s someone who I’d want to be abducted with. Gho-Ran is a native of the beehive world and on the same quest, but disappears part way through the book. While I thought the trio would be a throuple, I hope Gho-Ran gets his HEA in the next book. He smoothed the way between the planet’s rulers (his royal blood is explained in Book 2) and our main couple with humor which I enjoyed.
Ashley and Gho-ran pledged their lives to find and kill the World Destroyer, but they don’t leave the planet to chase him…yet, so the political intrigue and double-crosses center around Li-aq. I was convinced our villain was Li-aq until he started narrating chapters. He went from an evil genius to a tragic figure in this book. My heart broke for how he’s caught in the middle of something bigger…but I can’t give away spoilers!
Overall, I highly recommend the Treasures of Trillume series, including Her Alien Insurgent to those science fiction fans looking for spice or spicy romance readers who love the world-building of science fiction. This book has all the alien romance tropes and follows the expectations of the genre while exploring new aliens and planets.
Gleeful Goblin Review: Ok so here's the thing. The story of these books is amazing and I totally loved this one. But if you are looking for great story AND unique peen then OH MAN THIS ONE IS GOLD. "Estreld cöcks are stored inside their matíng loh, which is a darker jewel plating at their crötch that many offworld species mistake for pant decoration/armor similar to a codpíece. Once máted, an estreld male's cöck comes out like a moldable resin and forms to the preferred matíng shape needed to pleasure a female into dropping their eggs for fertílizatíon, there is also a secondary smaller cöck, used for clítoral stimulation during íntercourse (most female estreld's clíts are under their matíng slít, unlike humans which is at the top, but as an estreld male forms their cöck specific to their mate, the placement of the second cöck differs.) Often times an estreld cöck is segmented similar to having a few knots along their shaft that bulge and swell during matíng."
This book picks up immediately where the prior book ended in terms of order of events. In addition to the steam factor (which is high) this book also amps up the political intrigue factor. The relationship dynamics are also a good bit more complicated in this story because we're dealing with multiple queens and mating configurations. So it was a bit hard for me to keep track of at times but I chalk that up to my mostly reading couple only romances and even with that it was still a really engrossing story! The world building in this series is simply excellent and will keep you guessing on several fronts. 5/5 Stars.

Sky Robert writes a magnificent paranormal and alien romance
In Her Alien Insurgent, and I may add a wonderful third volume in this series, Treasures of Trillume, it's another intriguing alien romance, with the twist of paranormal. I am a big fan of Sky Robert and read whatever this author writes. This author has a grand imagination, and talent for showing the story. And what a world this author has built, especially with the settings for the planet, aliens, and of course, Trillume. This story is not for the faint of heart, and if you blush easily, it will make your face feel like it's on fire, and that's a good thing. It's an intense, detailed love story in the most alienation way, so a romance between various species of alien, and all the powers they hold, is incredible. Absolutely Electrifying. Yes, it's the end of our world as we know it. Just because an alien is green, doesn't mean you should steer clear, or even fall in love. The saying that opposites attract, is proven in this story. It's sensual, thrilling, and intriguing, as love is not the primary goal, survival is. Sometimes you have to put the book down, just to take a breath. It may be fate, or twin flames, but whatever it is, this story works. Her Alien Insurgent is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book also write a review.
There seems to be a general formula for alien lover books--heroes who look basically human but with cool skin/scale colours, animal parts (horns, tails, claws, fangs), strange abilities (shifting shapes, invisibility, flying)--and I have to say it's all become more than a little boring.
But THIS... This may be the first book about aliens that really felt ALIEN. It wasn't just alien, it was out-of-my-ken alien. It was strange, disorienting, confusing, and totally ALIEN. The whole hive mentality and wings means they're something insectoid, but they clearly mesh with humans, so how does this work?
At times, I couldn't keep the names straight. Is this a good guy or a bad guy? Even at the end, I'm not sure! What's up with the radiation helping to cloak him? How is it safe for a human to be near him, let alone mate? So he can change body parts and even cut them off in the throes of passion without hurting himself?
By the end, all that mattered to me was that the right people ended up together but there's still a whoooooole lot to unpack here for it all to make sense. Definitely diving back in for a re-read or two before the next installment (kudos for setting the stage without an aggravating cliffhanger, BTW).
Weirdness, confusion, and all, I don't remember the last time I enjoyed sci-fi this much. 👍
Second of all: The glossary. You have no idea how much I appreciate it when authors include a glossary. It helped me a lot to read the book without halting and trying to figure out what those unfamiliar terminology and species mean.
As I turned the pages, one after another, my initial thought was, "What the f is going on?" 🤔
I should have known; Sky is a wizard with her books. She sends me into a labyrinth but always ensures I don't get lost and will find a very satisfying explanation of what is happening, along with an ending that makes me look forward to the next book. This book never fails to excite me. It keeps me on edge at all times. I even found myself shouting at Ashley more times than I could count! 🤣
Suspense, mystery, uncovering secrets—this world Sky has created is larger than I had imagined. It's more than romance. It's more than steamy scenes. It's solid world-building with strong characters.
This is Ashley and Gavin's story and continues where the previous installment ended. Ashley, a human female on a mission and posing as Riley is somehow diverted to a different planet than was intended while in stasis. She ends up in a Krelis hive with her "contract" being transferred to another. She becomes ill when taken out of stasis without med help and runs a high fever. Gavin, a hybrid, is tracking a believed traitor and is hurt and likewise falls ill . They become accidentally bonded when they hook up in what they think is a dream but is actually a reality. This is where the story pretty much starts. It is quite involved and somewhat hard to tell who the good guys and bad are so it keeps you guessing. Will Gavin and Ashley get their HEA or will Gavin's belief he isn't worthy keep them apart? Is Ashley part of a ancient prophesy about the future of the hive? Will the bad guys be exposed before all is lost? So many questions to answer. Check it out to see.

Ashley is coming awake from the stasis pod but is having issues. She's on a mission to find an enemy named Al-Hez. Now she's on a side road. She's been sokd to a krelin named Domsal in a pleasure district. Gaven is a sky bender. He's been accepted as a klohvin by Gho-ran. But Gaven is also more of an assassin. He too is after Al-Hez. There is a virus that has started that keep species from procreating. Ashley an Gavin are trying to get to the one who invented it. They come across traitors who are willing to fight for their believes, only it's mostly their minds have been taken over. They need to find the Queen who is misusing the hive. Their journey is froth with danger and death. Will they survive? Will they get their mission accomplished? Another fantastic story in this series. It sometimes feels confusing but the story brings it all together.

This alien romance novel comes with a glossary right at the beginning — and trust me, you’ll need it! The world-building is incredibly detailed and complex, which makes the story feel rich and layered, but it also takes some serious effort to get into. I found myself flipping back to the glossary quite a few times just to keep track of the terminology and the world’s structure.
Once you’ve pieced everything together, though, it really starts to make sense, and the setting becomes quite fascinating and unique. The characters are well-developed, and there’s noticeable growth throughout the story, which fits well for a full-length novel.
Overall, it’s a solid and interesting read, but one that requires patience and focus to fully appreciate. If you enjoy intricate alien worlds and don’t mind doing a bit of extra work to understand them, this book will definitely reward your effort.

The universe is not a nice place these days and MFC Ashley one of the good guys works to save it all, with a little help from her team of course. Waylaid while in stasis from a mission to Estreldez, she is awakened instead on the planet Krelis. Whoosh, do things get intense pretty quickly with political intrigue, action-adventure, twists, fated mates, a little levity, spice, and MMC Gaven aka Sky Bender an Estreld warrior on a mission of his own. The heat these two eventually generate with each other just may melt Gaven’s loh! Her Alien Insurgent is an intergalactic Sci-Fi Romance filled with good writing, in depth world building, and a story that immerses the reader as it races in high gear all the way to a thrilling, satisfying HEAFN.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was such an intense action packed story! Ashley and Gaven’s romance is both sweet and hot - it’s love at first sight (even though they both think they’re dreaming!) and that protective vibe is so sexy. I was a little confused though how Gho-ran just disappeared from the story halfway through given Gaven was his Klohvin, and Li-aq also appears to be more than the villain he was thought to be, so I hope we get to see more of these two in the future! I am absolutely loving this world and all the details in the overarching plot. We definitely find out some surprising details about the World Destroyer virus and its purpose, and I’m excited to see what develops with the next book of the series! I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
