The best way to get over a man is to get under another man.
I’ve been a good girl all my life, and what has it gotten me? Nothing but heartbreak. So, when famous actor, hottest bachelor in town, and recently single Michael offers me a romantic night out, I can’t resist the sparks between us. Unfortunately, our romantic night turns into a movie marathon because honourable Michael will not touch a tipsy woman.
When pictures of us kissing hit the media, and I become the target of hateful blogs, society labels me a hussy, and my reputation is in shreds. Branded a promiscuous woman overnight and on the verge of losing my job, I need a knight in shining armour. Or a plan.
Michael has a plan which could save me or leave me more heartbroken than before. But that’s the danger of dating Mr Famous. Am I willing to pay the price?
DNF 40%. This is not a very compelling book. I don't feel any spark or chemistry between the FMC and MMC, and the MMC seems more cruel and uncaring than anything else. He has thoughts in his head that he's actually a feminist etc, but then his actions and thoughts about people are all quite misogynistic.
I love reading books that take place in Nigeria and this writer is very good and I will read more of her work.
However, I could not root for the heroine in this story. She put herself into the situation where her reputation was ruined, yet blamed the hero. He tries to help her and she treats him like crap--over and over again. Finally, the hero told her off and I was so happy, but then he went back to taking her crap again.
this was, hands down, the most hilarious book I’ve ever read. I was laughing out loud on the train. And yet, there were also moments of high drama. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. My only complaint is that I think it could have been longer. Waiting patiently for a dating mr. Famous #2!
Very funny. Made me feel giddy a good number of times. It's also really short which was kinda sad but I get it. Nothing seriously out of the ordinary but I like.
