CERTAIN THINGS ARE EXPECTED OF HER... Ambree Tantallon is a highborn elf maiden, brought up in an elite society, where she has been sheltered from the atrocities of the world. She has never encountered people of other races, violence, nor the crusaders who battle the monsters of the world. She will live for a thousand years.
HE EXPECTS TO HAVE EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTS... Farron Tain, who is half elf and half human, fights evil with magical music and sword. His successes bring him riches and a brand of self-assuredness that crosses the line into arrogance. Accustomed to his overwhelming charm paving the way for him, Farron never wastes a moment on self-doubt.
3.5 but might be closer to a four once I sit on this book a minute.
Got this book on 'Stuff Your Kindle' Day and don't regret it.
It does have some grammar/spelling mistakes but I was still able to make out sentences and kind of expected that to be fair. I also really liked the direction this story went in. It brought up something that I can't help but think about reading these kinds of romances;
There was also one other minor thing I didn't too much care for and it, sadly, was our main character Farron. I really hated
Either way, it was a good book, and I would recommend it. At first, I thought I would stop with this book, but now I am kind of invested and want to read the second book in this series.
No trigger warnings, and I believe one is absolutely warranted.
Downloaded from KU before I read "Charmed by the Elf" I got during a stuff your kindle event. Wasn't expecting a damn stillborn infant/accident. What a horrid thing to read when you weren't expecting it. Stopped at 36%.

This book felt like the backstory of a D&D character and had that play out rather than the adventuring they do. It was very entertaining and had a lot more depth to it than I had originally expected.
