Mylomon by Star Huntress was one of my favorite in the series.
I truly enjoyed the short story and it was something to remember.
After Kalen I wasn't sure whether I wanted to continue the series, but thankfully this hero held promise to be a little different. At least I hoped he would. And I was right!

This one focuses on Daisy, Meridan's sister who is mated to Kalen. She's all for getting a hot warrior mate but when she finally meets him he turns out to be a little too beasty...
We meet Mylomon in Paax, the first book in the series. He's an abomination. He works alone and does all the dirty work because he's got unique abilities. He's the perfect assassin and most dangerous among his people, so much so, they don't even trust him.
description

He meets Daisy, his fated mate on a mission and things go downhill from that moment on.

I totally recommend this book, because despite being a short story it delivers. Daisy is not an appealing heroine because of her crazy ups and downs... But don't let that deter you.
Still, the rest of it is so worth it in my opinion. An interesting hero, sizzling hot scenes, action and something odd for an erotic short story with destined mates. A slow-burning attraction and romance. Yes! Not as developed as a lengthy novel, but it sure is satisfying.

Enjoy this guilty pleasure sci-fi destined mates story, cause its way better than it looks due to its cover. Definite rec!

DNF 50%
I must have the attention span of a nit when it comes to romance etc.
If there is no sexy-times in the first half, I lose interest very fast.
The H was alpha and actually pretty interesting however, the h, ugh. She was bats**t crazy. She spent most of the time proclaiming her independence and in reality she was cowed into being a proper little genetically chosen wife.
Not for me I am afraid. Sorry.
I like my heroines with a little bit more spunk.

DNF at 20%. I can’t get into this book at all. Not sure because I like the other books I’ve read so far. I just did not dig Myolomon’s stoic style. I couldn’t deal with the “Hey you female!”

Monster and the beautiful

Daisy finally got to get in the lottery. As the festival ball continued, suddenly the alarms began. Everyone started to go to their assigned places. Suddenly, she was pushed into a room with the largest ,purple male alien she had ever seen. She had to get to the medical mall, but this alien wouldn't let her leave. After she calmed down, she realized that there were enemies surrounding them. Mylomon had Sentinel her and realized that she was his mate. She didn't know that, his priority changed to her safety. They melted through walls until he found them in a safe place. A more, a cold one. Now the race is on. She tries to convince Mylomon that he is awesome👍 and that he is love wothy. And he keeps telling her that she is more deserving than him. She has to prove to him that she is not affairs of him at his worst. She accepts him as an fondly assassin. She gets kidnapped by the enemy and he has to rescue her, even having to do rough surgery to remove a bomb that was Ebola noted. Finally, they got to go on a date night. You will understand as you read the book. It is a lovable story with slot of heart. There isn't any sex until the end but plenty of inches. I dearly love this book and also, this series. You won't get hurt by buying this book. Yum, yum.

Ummm- yuk. Apparently nothing that a thick juicy cock can’t fix, according to the heroine of this debacle. Frankly, the Aliens are more decent than the women. I couldn’t go more that 35 %. No more from this author for me, folks.

I fell in love with Mylomon, the gruff, scary alien male, who is surprisingly unsure of himself when it comes to socializing. He can kill with his bare hands but is bowled over by a human female. She can actually turn this tough assassin to mush. Daisy Vargas, the object of his desire, has always wanted to be mated to a tough warrior. When she gets her wish, it may be more than she bargined for. She is at her wits end trying to understand her new husband. They must learn to communicate better if there is any chance for them to be happy.
I received an ARC for an honest review.

Mylomon

This was good, it had some danger, a dark broody hero and a decent story. But by the time it came to the claiming i had lost interest. Also what happened with the traitor? What happened at the baddies base?

I reread this one as I go through the series and I’d give it a 3.5 rather than 3. I love the brooding scary ones and Mylo is certainly that

I have a BIG soft spot for the silent, misunderstood heroes who are TERRIBLE at communicating, but who fall fast and hard for their other half. Mylomon isn't just silent and brooding and all that other stuff, he's also considered an abomination because of the experiments the bad guys ran on him as a child.

Sure, sure, he might embrace his darker side a little too quickly at times (like that time he threatened his warlord's mate. WHOOPS!), but he always does it because the well-being of the clan demands it. No matter the guilt he has to carry afterward.

As for Daisy, she's longed to be matched to one of the warriors FOR-EVER, but the silent, brooding Mylomon isn't exactly making things easy for her. That fact she's a wee bit headstrong and barrels into things without thinking about the potential ramification (sometimes. Sometimes she plots and plans) doesn't help their budding relationship. It isn't until she actually starts seeing what drives her dude that things take a better turn.

Aliens, danger, two people stranded on a (currently) inhospitable planet with only one another to rely on, and a few secrets that need to be uncovered. Good stuff.

Daisy is not your typical human woman who ends up mated to a Mahdfel warrior: she actually wants to be matched to a big strong alien warrior. Every year on her birthday, Daisy gets her required blood draw to be tested for a match, and every year she is disappointed to receive no match. Mylomon is not your typical Mahdfel warrior. He is a foundling and thus grew up without a clan. He does not know his race's traditions, his has not tattoos to glow when he is feeling intense love for his mate, and his adopted clan mistrusts and fears him. Mylomon is certain his genetic mutations have ruined his chance of being matched. When Daisy and Mylomon are matched, the two must learn to communicate, trust, and respect one another.

I love that Daisy knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to speak her mind to alien warriors who are 2-3 times bigger and stronger than her. I also found it sweet and sad that Mylomon's struggle with calling Daisy by her name and trying to keep her locked in their room isn't because of typical Mahdfel arrogance and patriarchy, but because he genuinely fears he isn't good enough for her. The progression of their relationship is really heartwarming. I loved every chapter.

From the first book Mylomon has been calling for me to read him. He seemed broody and closed off and I was really excited to see him and daisy get a happy ending.

Mylomon was really..... broody. That's the best way to say it. With his past it's understandable but when she was all sweet and stuff, it went right to my heart.

Daisy was a take no crap type of chick and I really enjoyed that. She did what she wanted and didn't think about the consequences.

I really liked this books we get some scenes from the last book in a new perspective and they helped with the flow on what we knew from the last book. Moving forward and the plot, I really love seeing these two main characters work through their differences.

This one had a lot more action then the others and I feel that it helped me understand both types of aliens in this book. It leaves me wondering what's going to happen next.

Overall this is now my favorite of the series but we get get to see Vox and his sweet amazing self in the next book so that could change. Even though these books aren't 1st POV I still really enjoy them and keep going forward. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Great story! I love Nancey Cummings' Warriors of Sangrin series - the Sangrin Mahdfel are such individualized and fascinating characters, with uniquely entertaining stories of how they found their human mates. First there was Paax, the scientist turned reluctant but awesome warlord. Then came Kalen, the genius young doctor with the bedside manner of an arrogant jerk. Now it's Mylomon's turn, and his story is uniquely fabulous as well. Mylomon isn't respected, he's feared. He isn't an honorable Sangrin Mahdfel warrior, he's everything the Mahdfel find contemptible. But he's an essential member of Paax's clan, a uniquely talented outcast with a crucial role to play, and a male who never, ever, EVER expected to find a mate who would want him. And human Daisy doesn't want him! Not at first. Mylomon and Daisy have a lot to learn - about love, trust, and the importance of teamwork - and it's a pleasure to follow their developing relationship against a backdrop of danger and treachery in the Suhlik war. Outstanding characterization and an engrossing overarching series plot line drive this best-in-series (so far!) addition to the Star Huntress/Mahdfel warrior universe.

This is a review of the writing, not a rehash of the publishers blurb.

This is a second read by this author(s) for me. I wanted to try something in a different series.

Story line was good and it flowed well.

Female character was not believable at all as a person with field medic experience. Sorry, but having my own background in medical treatment, the author was HORRIBLE at doing her research for that.

Then, after getting into the book the mistakes began to pile up. No, really, the author must not have used a proofreader. Nothing is more annoying that seeing/reading multiple page mistakes. And, when an author asks you to let her know if you found any (I believe that is at the end of the book), what I figure is she is too cheap to hire someone to do that.....

No more buying from this series for me.....

now for Meridan's sister, Daisy's story. So I'm just gonna say this. Daisy is one of the most annoying heroine's I've ever read about. All she does for half the book is complain. I can't stand whiny females in a book. She was complaining that mylomon was her match, then complained that he was always around. When they got back to the judgment where their warlord is, she then complained that he's never around, that he hasn't claimed her. So she does dumb things that it's them both in danger. Once she starts to give mylomon a chance then the two become a cute little couple, learning how to speak to and joke with each other. I didn't really feel too much chemistry at first but it built, slowly. Mylomon is a complete alpha and is fiercely protective. I like that he's completely misunderstood because of what was fine to him as a child. Story was ok. Not my favorite of the series.

Mylomon #3 09/18/2022

Daisy has always wanted her own big warrior. But she never expected Mylomon he’s big and scary. But first she need to Waite for her sister to recover from her injuries. Once she’s better Daisy and Mylomon will have to go to his station to live. She’s not sure if her husband wants her he doesn’t talk to her or much of anything else. The first time they meet is by mistake she was at a event and he was there to catch a traitor but the moment he smelled her he knows she his mate. Now all he can think about is her safety. But that traitor has given codes to let the enemy into the moon base. Daisy’s sister gets hurt but Mylomon keeps her safe. But more is happening then they know about and soon they will be in danger again. So enjoy another good read !!

Warriors of Sangrin (3)

Mylomon is a man feared by his peers. He is an assassin for his clan. Captured by the Suhlik when young, they altered his genetics. His warlord Omas was mad and he helped his twin Paax defeat him and become warlord instead, his reward was to become Paax's 2nd in command. When searching for a traitor he scents his mate, he thought this was impossible, the Suhlik has altered him inside. Daisy always wanted to be matched but each birthday came and nothing, maybe this year would be different. Never thought I'd be reading a Sci Fi series and loving it, I was wrong, yet another good book from this author.

Incredibly enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book. Deep dark purple scary alien assassin meets lover girl with dreams of mating a hunky, protective, doting alien. Except the alien isn’t exactly what she expected. This is a fun book because it shows both perspectives. The male who is an outcast among his own, never thought there’d be someone for him, and is the absolute WORST at communicating with his wife. It also shows her utter devastation at being chosen by someone who doesn’t seem to like her. The greatest part of this whole series is actually the action packed scenes, and intertwined stories that make the book flow so well.

Love this book!

This is my second time to read this book and series. I love Mylomon. He is the perfect misunderstood assassin. Daisy is the perfect complement to his gruff manner. She is social, bright and engaging. She is no weak wallflower! The sparks fly!
This is the second in a series but also could be read as a standalone. There are steamy scenes (blushing 😳) and a HEA with a taste of the next book!
I. Loved. This. Book!

Mylomon is the loner of this clan. Not by choice but by the fact that he a foundling. An adult foundling but still a foundling nonetheless. He knows that he will never have a mate. Until that is he finds Daisy. She is everything he told himself he would never have. She is now his and he doesn’t know how to act or what to do. Daisy on the other hand has waned her very own alien superhero forever. Now she has the clan assassin. This was an epic tale.

Loved it!

The book had a great storyline and likable main characters. I couldn’t put the book down from beginning to end. Mylomon having superpowers to walk though walls to escape the lizards was super cool. The whole idea of a baby that could teleport and the possible complications- I wished this couple could have a second book. I am definitely reading Vox’s story in the next book. This an awesome book series.

Love this series!

Love love aliens and their strong human women. Enough twists and turns in the story to keep you engaged. Every book in the series is worth your time. Characters are well developed and the world they live in is interesting. Some distracting typos but not enough for me to stop reading. Enjoy!

Daisy always wanted her match once she is tested for marriage with a Mahdfel warrior. Mylomon never thought he would get a match never mind his fated mate. They are matched and, as they learn about each other, Daisy finds out about Mylomon's past which resulted in some special abilities. She loves him regardless and is waiting for him to claim her. Finally they get their happily ever after.

I loved the Warlord series,(this is one too) but these books were on another platform that I worked hard on to read, (purchased by $ and time with stupid long ads) and now, I can't read them there anymore but have to BUY them to be able to read again on kindle. It why 2 stars. I've reread several repeatedly, but now I have to start from scratch? Great author, but I'm not sure I like how she does business. There's nothing like giving your loyal readers the bird. I wouldn't mind buying them on Kindle in addition to having them on the other platform, but I think this is crap.

Definitely have to read Kalen first so you understand everything that is going on.
You come to understand Mylomon in this book and why he is the way he is. He definitely needed his HEA.
