Needed a change of pace and needed to read something easy on the mind. I remember reading all the Geronimo Stilton books as a kid and it was nice reliving those moments. The book has a fun story but the end was a little anti climatic however these books are always filled with amazing facts and little maps/drawings to keep you engaged and paying attention. I can see why kids even myself when I was younger loved reading these books. Also if you want a nice guacamole recipe go to page 64. I would give this book a high 3 but just for the sake of it I’ll give it 4 stars.

I've been in a bit of a reading slump for about a month now and I've decided to just pick up whatever looks interesting. I spent my Easter with my family and with this book. It was a fun little read. I remembered how much my siblings used to enjoy these stories and this one was a nice way to pass time while food cooked. I also loved the little facts spread throughout.
The seven year old really likes these books. I'm impressed with how much reading he's been doing and Geronimo Stilton have been some of his favourites. We were particularly interested in this one as we had a trip to Mexico earlier in the year.
