Briar:

Escaping the men who would traffic me to a stranger was meant to be the end.

Until I fall into the arms of Saint, the man who would become my saviour.

I can’t think about justice, not while I feel so broken.

But as Saint glues the pieces of me back together, I realise all we truly have between us is lies.

Lies threatening to detonate to all we love.

Saint:

I no longer recognise myself.

Am I Ryker? The man who has no place in a criminal organisation?

Or am I Saint? The proud preacher of the Iron Outlaws MC?

I thought I knew who the bad guys were until I became one of them.

Now I only know two things for sure. The moment Briar fell into my arms, my world tilted. And the only way out of this mess is to reveal who I really am and pray we survive the vengeance the club will seek for the lies we’ve told.

Four-time RITA finalist, Scarlett Cole, is a contemporary romantic suspense / contemporary romance author (represented by Louise Fury at The Bent Agency) who calls both Toronto, Canada and Manchester, England home. A born city dweller, she periodically quashes the urge to live in the country by hiking up a mountain to remind herself that living away from people would terrify the pants off her.

She believes everybody deserves their love story to be told and loves her heroes on the rough and rugged side…and usually tall (because she married one of those 6ft 6” men you read about in romance!). She’s an A-type personality and Scorpio star sign, so good luck getting her to do anything she doesn’t want to.

When she isn’t writing, she’s happy to talk hot men and expensive shoes while drinking a cold gin and tonic. Don’t bring up olives. As far as Scarlett is concerned, they are the devil’s food. As long as you don’t bring up olives, she’s happy to hear from any time.

A Must Read

OMG!! Where to start…Saint/Ryker has been undercover within the Iron Outlaws MC for two years but as he is growing closer to the club and becoming a real brother to most of the men lines are being crossed. One night he and Spark were out on a run when Briar literally falls into Saint’s arms when she breaks away from the people who kidnapped her. She was bruised and battered and fighting her fears but it was Saint who took her to his home to help her through this. Saint saw that it was more important to him to take this human trafficking ring down than to go after the club.

Talk about secrets, lies and drama this book brought it in spades. This is one of those books that kept me up until 3am because I couldn’t put it down. The characters and the storyline were superb. I have to say though that the ending left me with my mouth hanging open. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. I highly recommend this series.

5 stars!

Damn, what a read! The third book in the Iron Outlaws MC series, this is Saint’s book, the club’s much-loved preacher who in the last book (spoiler alert!) turned traitor. It’s a dramatic and emotional read with a heartfelt, wildly sexy love story, and it’s a fantastic addition to the series that had me hooked from start to finish.

The events of this book overlap with the last one, which ended on an explosive twist. We get to see the build up to that big moment from Saint’s perspective, the impact of it, and the aftermath, and it was everything I was hoping it would be. I’ll keep this review vague to avoid spoilers.

We saw Saint and Briar meet in the last book, when he saved her from a group of human traffickers. But what we didn’t see was that after he rescued her from danger, he took her into his home to protect and care for her. Briar was left understandably traumatised and terrified after her ordeal, and though the big burly biker should frighten her, she finds herself clinging to him as her only refuge, and we see the sweet side of Saint come out as he looks after her beautifully.

I cup her cheeks and catch her tears with my thumbs. “My world is messy, sweetheart. But you want to come home with me and stay for a little while, I’ve got you.”

Despite all she’s been through, Briar can’t help but fall under Saint’s spell, and he’s feeling it right back. Their passion for each other is crazy and intense, but more than that, they form an emotional connection that is absolutely beautiful, and they fall easily and naturally for each other in a gorgeously swoony romance that owned my heart!

“I have a history of falling head over heels too quickly. I’m scared I’m doing the same here.”
“Then let me fall first, Briar. I can catch you when it’s your turn.”

But Saint is a man torn between two worlds – who he should be, and who he wants to be. He’s a good guy at heart, and never planned to join an MC, but that’s where he’s ended up, and with the club and his new brothers, he has discovered his true self. He now knows what he wants, and who he wants to be, and it’s liberating and satisfying in ways that nothing ever has been before. He is revelling in his new life, but still very much tied to his old one, and he’s battling between the two.

His situation seems impossible, and now that he has fallen for a woman that he knows he won’t let go, it adds another layer of complication to his already messed up situation. It’s a mad tangle, and though I knew where it was going, I didn’t know what was actually going to happen, and watching it all unfold had my heart pounding. It’s exciting and dramatic, and the intensity of it continues even after the big moment, and I couldn’t put the book down!

Briar is right there with him through it all, which I loved. She could have easily been overlooked in all of the chaos and against such a big hero, but she stands strong as her own character. I loved how she supports Saint, and is strong for him, yet she allows herself to be vulnerable as well. They are open and honest through it all, and they really are perfect for each other.

Being set in an MC world, it’s a rough and brutal read at times, but I revelled in it and was glued to my kindle! And then that ending?! Holy sh*t, I could not believe it! The second epilogue which gives us a hint of what’s to come in the next book had me actually shrieking out loud. What a genius plotline, I cannot wait for that story!

This is a fantastic read! I loved the drama of the MC and Saint’s journey to figure out his life, and the love story is so, so beautiful. The two storylines blend together wonderfully, and the book ends in a great place.

I absolutely loved it – 5 stars!

I really enjoyed Saint and Briar's story!
We start out going back in time to when Saint and Spark saved Briar from her kidnappers. And from there we get to see the bond Saint and Briar build leading up to the shocking ending we got in The Games We Play.

Saint is dealing with one of the biggest battles within himself while also trying to protect Briar and not slip up and put them both in danger. And Briar is dealing with the mental battle of having been kidnapped and almost given away as if she's cattle.

While Saint is helping Briar heal, she helps him with his internal battle.
When we get to the point in the story where we left off previously it becomes a wild ride. They'd both do anything to protect the other.

And then we come to the epilogues, yes there are two! I'm still mentally dealing with the second one. I thought the ending of The Games We Play was crazy, but Scarlett had me sitting with my mouth open just trying to process the words I read. I'm curious to see how this is going to all play out! The Bond We Break can't get here fast enough!

Holy sh!te. Wow. I’m speechless. I have loved each and every one of the books in this series, each offering different stories and struggles. I was nervous for Saint’s story, nervous and excited. It did not disappoint. Saint’s story gives us a look behind the curtain and it will blow your mind.

We start the story with a prologue that was bonkers and completely got my heart pumping and I was feeling the PANIC. We then go back to parts of Spark’s story but from Saint’s POV and if you think you’re just reading the same story, you’re wrong. It’s brand new from his POV and it adds so many layers to a story that I loved.

Briar is so different than other heroines I’ve read and I loved her. She was perfect for someone like Saint and I loved her honesty, strength and loyalty. Her old man jokes were the best and I laugh now just thinking of them.

Saint was so much more complex than I expected and with every page you fall for him more. He is a changed man and reading how he accepts and embraces these changes was amazing.

The Lies We Tell was absolute perfection. From page one, you are sucked in and don’t want to stop. A beautiful story with characters who dig deep into your heart. This has easily become an all time favorite series for me. Highly recommend this book and series.

Thanks to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I was shocked and excited that I got approved to read an ARC of The Lies We Tell, I’ve read the previous two books in this amazing MC series and when I say I’m OBSESSED by these books I wholeheartedly mean it!.

I was SO ready to read Saint & Briar’s story after that HUGE cliffhanger and revelation at the end of the previous book ( I won’t spoil it for people) I was nervous and excited to find out what came next.

This begins with a retelling of the last quarter or so of the last book but told from Saint’s perspective and also Briar’s.

I was engrossed in this it had everything you could want and MORE!

The drama and suspense had me on the edge of my seat and the anguish Saint felt as he was torn between two worlds had me feeling quite emotional at times, as did his relationship with Briar , they are the perfect match in every way possible!.

And that ending! And epilogue 😳 OMG, why do this to me? I have to wait now to find out what’s happened and I don’t like it one bit.

I’ve said it before but this series reminds me so much of the tv show SOA ( Sons of Anarchy available on Disney +).

I get so invested in the characters I’m on the verge of running away and finding an MC to join.

O.M.G. !!! Loved.

The Lies We Tell has got to be my new favorite book in Scarlett Cole's addictive MC romance series- Iron Outlaws. If you love excellent storytelling, wild, sometimes darker plot twists and intensely spicey, heart melting moments that'll leave you breathless, go get yourself some Saint, aka, Preacher Man, asap. He may have the perfect bible verse for any occasion waiting on his lips, but has been flying under the radar, hiding in plain sight within with the Iron Outlaws MC for years. He's juggling enough secrets to burn his entire whole world down to the ground, while walking a fine gray line between what used to feel right and how he'd like things to be now. This group of men have become friends and brothers and this MC lifestyle fits him well, but his former life is still lurking in the shadows, waiting impatiently for him to return.

When Saint and his MC brother, Spark, find themselves in the middle of a kidnapping late one night, they're faced with an impossible life or death situation. He makes a split second decision, the only kind a man like him could make, changing the coarse of many lives, including his own. Briar escaped her captors, and is running for her life, scared out of her mind, not knowing who she can trust. She's shaken, battered and traumatized, but rescued just in the knick of time by a man she knows nothing about. He's kind and gentle with her broken spirit, but can she trust him with her life?

“Throughout the rest of my life, there’ll probably never be a better example of me being in the right place at the right time.”

Meant to be? The former captive and her avenging savior and protector, are in for quite a ride, with an instant and heated attraction, like a wild fire out of control. Will they act on these feelings or let them fade away when or if she returns to life as she used to know it? Saint is trying to be the better man, do the right thing and resist everything that tempts him about this beautiful, intelligent woman, but as different as their lives are, he's not so sure he can.

"I wish I could let myself drown in those brown eyes of hers. Just for a moment, I want to be more than her friend."

Saint wants to be his true self with these brothers he's come to love & respect, but the persona of Saint is overflowing with lies. He's been holding back with Briar as well, and as much as he wants to keep her safe and show her what being with him would mean, his conscience won't allow him to risk any of it. To do so would blow his cover wide open and put them all in inexplicable danger or possibly even six feet under.

What a crazy, intensely complicated and well written story The Lies We Tell turned out to be. I had a feeling THIS book was the one that would keep me tied my to my favorite chair until my eyes were barely able to stay open. I was absolutely right! A multitude of emotions were rolling through me while I completely immersed myself in Saint and Briar's hot, sexy secretive bubble. I'm usually more fascinated by the sexy, broken hero, or anti- hero in whatever story I'm reading, which was very much the case with the enigma that was Saint. He was a fierce protector, an intense lover and a conflicted soul, but Briar, even while she was recovering from something scarring and terrifying, was still a strong, caring woman to admire and love every part of. Together, solving the puzzle that led to their hard fought happiness was everything I could want in a darker, MC romance. The question remains though- WTH was the last chapter about??  Gah! I need to know!!

This book can be enjoyed as a standalone, but make sure you go back and see where it all began with the first three books in the Iron Outlaws series- this world offers must read, bingeable and mind blowing escapism.

“I’m used to doing everything alone, Bri. But you’re like a lighthouse in this storm"

Wow, what a ride.

I was so happy to receive an ARC of this novel to review.

Let me just tackle the negative part… and it has nothing to do with the author. I, personnaly, find there was a lot of tactical read (like planning, surveillance, ambush, etc. ). I totally understand that they have to be part of the story. They are necessary for Saint’s character evolution. I’m just so invested in the romance that these parts “bothered me”. I also felt I was re-reading Spark and Iris’s story under another POV. I also understand that it was necessary to Saint’s story. HOWEVER, I must say that the storyline is nicely crafted. There are no down point and the plot twists are solid.

SAINT: Wow… as much as Spark was an angel, Saint was such a good man. I totally fell head over heels for him. I loved that he cared for the others so much, may it be his sister, his brothers or lucky Briar. He was always there for her and always had the good word to ease her fears or her anger. His sensitivity towards what happened to her was very touching. And at the same time, what a beast… Ugh… #FanningMyself

BRIAR: Her character was so easy to connect with. She had this “girl next door” vibe that was easy to get attached to. She was not overly beautiful or overly emotional like so many cliché FMC in romance novels. She was strong, resiliant, funny and also so brave.

I love how the Iron Outlaws old ladies are all very different from one another buut all so awesome.

Now… that ending… It hit me on so amny levels… At first, I was like “Ah, I knew it!”, then “Oh myyyy…”, then “WHAAAAT???”, then “Oh, lordy lord… Somone will die.”

Now I can’t wait for book 4…

Anyone who follows me on social media will know how desperate I've been to get my hands on THE LIES WE TELL and to find out what happens to Saint after that shocking ending to The Games We Play.

And I can honestly say it's a thousand times better, than anything I could've ever imagined.

But OMG Scarlett, the ending!! Why??? I can't believe you've left me hanging again! 😂

But seriously it was sooooo worth it!

As The Lies We Tell starts around four weeks before the ending of The Games We Play. When Saint and Spark are thankfully in the right place at the right time to rescue Briar. Who has been abducted and sold to a man who thinks it's perfectly fine to buy, beat, and degrade a woman. Then marry her.

But happily Saint comes to her rescue. Only he can't tell her who he really is. Yet, he's ready to do anything to protect her. Even though he believes she would be better off far away from him.

Yet, time spent together in secret has the pair forging a relationship that's mainly built on lies. The biggest being who Saint really is, something he struggles with massively.

And I loved how Scarlett explored that struggle. Especially with his background and the close friendships he forged, particularly with Spark.

Who becomes the reason he blows everything up and risks Briar and his own life for a club he was supposed to be taking down.

But that doesn't mean anything to those he has betrayed. And as the truth is revealed the Iron Outlaws will do everything possible to find and punish him and I mean everything.

And with a fantastic slow burn romance on top of a story full of guilt, friendship and revenge. I was absolutely hooked! At the expense of everything and everyone else. And I would one hundred percent recommend The Lies We Tell and the series itself to all.

Now when can I get my hands on The Bonds We Break?? 😉

My thanks to Scarlett Cole and Wildfire Marketing for the opportunity to read an early copy of The Lies We Tell. 😊

Good but just wasn’t feeling it between them I don’t know why. The sexy parts were very hot and Saint is such a dirty talker and thinker.

Lots of drama in this one. Looks like there is lots of drama to come. I knew Kingwoukd not let go easily. His story better have a redeeming arc or he is going to be very hard to like

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practise to deceive” and Saint certainly finds himself struggling to cover his lies and hide his deceit. I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘The Lies We Tell’ it was a very entertaining novel. I absolutely loved Saint and Briar’s story ❤️❤️❤️ they belong together. Briar finds herself in a dangerous situation, Saint rescues her and the rest is history. She loves him, even if she does reference him as being an old man, so much so, to elicit what she desires, the delicious spankings it earns her. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait for King’s book, it will be an interesting tale. ❤️

The Lies We Tell is book three in S.Cole’s fabulous series Iron Outlaws MC. This story tells the slow burn, age-gap romance between Ryker Miller aka Saint and Rose Whittaker aka Briar but it is also a story about a man who has become lost and is faced with the biggest decision of his life. The cliffhanger at the end of The Games Ewe Play set the scene and now we find out what happens after Saint dropped a bombshell on Spark and King.

Scarlett has pulled out all the stops with this one and the ending left my heart in my mouth. This is turning into one hell of a series, MC at its best. I loved how we got to
learn more about all the MC members and Cillian and what had happened in the previous two books. The insight into all the characters certainly helped understand what they were all going through. We also get to see the other side to Clutch and Gwen / Spark and Iris.

“Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

The prologue starts four weeks before the ending of the last book when Saint saves Briar from the Righteous Brotherhood. Without anyone knowing, she has been staying with him and he has been helping her recover from her trauma. It ends with Saint panicking over what he has done by picking a side and how it might cost him his life. The situation he finds himself in means he must compromise his values and blow the whole undercover operation but he can’t see women in danger.

Special Agent Ryker Miller, former army bomb disposal expert, has been undercover with the Iron Outlaws MC for two years. It has turned into the best time of his life and he is
losing his grip on reality because he feels he actually is Saint. They have become his family because underneath their cuts they are all good men. He feels he's a better man for Spark and King’s friendship and wants his pretend life be his real life.

Saint is confused over his feelings for Briar, especially as it's too dangerous for them to get involved. She has endured so much that he worries if he can he put her through more. The only truth in his life at the moment is his feelings for her. Briar knows he is hiding things from her but he provides her with comfort and safety. It was interesting getting her account of her abduction and how she teases him over his age really made me laugh. She realises whatever plan they make, her life will never be the same again.

“Have I told you today that I love you?”

The thing that stood out to me was how kind and caring Saint was. I felt sorry for him having to work out his options and was hoping everything would work out for him and Briar. His wonderful quotes from bible were always so thoughtful and I loved his relationship with his sister. It was lovely seeing how Saint and Spark become so close but can they trust each other when everything comes to light. Will they still have each others backs?

A fantastic story full of hidden truths, betrayal, lies of omission, friendships and the hope of forgiveness. Raw and gritty in parts as the MC react to his actions. Be prepared because the second epilogue totally shocked me and was an absolutely stunning way to get us ready for The Bonds We Break #4.

This third book in The Iron Outlaws MC series starts out where the previous book left off with a shocking revelation that has huge implications for Saint and the whole MC. I’ve been chomping at the bit for this book!

**𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐒-𝐁𝐔𝐓, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐛**

I wasn’t sure how I was going to love Saint/Ryker once I knew the that he was an undercover agent, a traitor to the MC, but I trusted the author would make it a fantastic story and it absolutely lived up to my expectations.
Saint is struggling with his loyalties, his morals and beliefs. He truly has found a brotherhood with the MC. He’s incredibly conflicted and doesn’t know what to do. He is having a crisis of conscience and rethinking his values. He’s living a double life and it gets more difficult when Briar enters his life and his feelings become even more complex.
He saves Briar from a nightmare human trafficking situation. I love that they have a connection because he was there and willing to help her in the face of danger.
The suspense is incredible, the romance is really emotional, super spicy and there’s a playfulness between Saint and Briar that’s so endearing. I adore their relationship so much.
The story flows great, it’s full and engaging. Things get dangerous and start moving fast towards the end, I was on the edge of my seat. I love all the characters involved and the way things play out was awesome.
And then… the second epilogue rocked me. And now, as I think of how much I love Saint & Briar… I want the next book ASAP!
This is series I think non MC readers would enjoy. It’s just enough grit and darkness with exceptional characters, smart writing and intriguing plots.
I loved it and can’t wait for more. The author writes great MC romance with suspense, I fell in love with her writing with her rockstar books.

The Iron Outlaws MC are back and boy do we have a pickle of a story so to speak. We have Preacher Man aka Saint aka a man of many names. For years he has been with the gang giving them a little bit of the man he is but also gained their trust. What started as a way into the gang has turned into a family he never had. Brothers looking out for each and friendships growing in a way he never saw coming. S. Cole not only created this man of mystery but has led him into a world he must decide to destroy or give up his whole life for MC Gang that has made him feel like he belongs at last. Then we have a woman who not only reminds him of his mother and sister but this is where S. Cole really takes us more into the story. Two people, one in danger of losing their life and another who just wants her life back but is afraid. We see one man feeling like Judas one minute then a hero in a woman's eyes he is starting to feel for more than just rescuing making him wonder when his whole life turned upside down. S. Cole and her MC Gang in a way is like the show Sons of Anarchy coming to life but with so much at stake mixed with some mafia and you got a hit you don't want to pass. Loved seeing Spark and Irish and boy seeing King unsure of where his club is going now just makes you wonder what S. Cole will have in store for our King next. Readers beware because once you start reading about a member in the Iron Outlaws you going to want more and not stop this is where S. Cole just pulls you in for more. Loved it.

Well where do i start with this one?
I absolutely LOVE everything that Scarlett gives us, ive been hooked on her words for a long long time so when i found out she was bringing us an MC series i was thrilled but i could just never imagine how amazing this series would be!
All 3 books has had me gripped so hard to each and every word she has written for the Iron Outlaws.. and i can guarantee that will continue for book 4 aswell!
This time we get the story of Saint and Briar... book 2 had left us on a cliffhanger where Saint was concerned and we didnt know whether his job or his heart would win out in the end.
Saint is undercover and is confused on where his life is going next as he feels more at home with the MC than he has ever felt, but thats not as easy as he wants, you just dont cross an MC and get away with it!
When Briar unsurprisingly ends up literally at his feet his world is even more flipped upside down!
These guys have chemistry in spades,, the sparks fly all over the place from first contact.
Briar is amazing and wants to stick ny her man regardless on what the outcome will be.
I actually didnt want to put this down once i started to read, i was gripped, my heart was pounding, i was breath holding, and i truly couldn't read fast enough!
Left on another cliff-hanger, you just cant help but want book 4 ASAP!!!
Scarlett you are a writing genius and i beg everyone to read this series.

I have no words. I. Have. No. Words. I loved The Sins We Hide (book 1). I loved, loved (5 million stars loved) The Games We Play (book 2) because well... Iris and Spark. I love, love, LOVED The Lies We Tell (5 billion stars loved).

Saint has finally found his home and a place to belong when is patched in to the Iron Outlaws MC. Trouble is, he's not who everyone thinks he is. When they find out who he really is, the MC will have no problem ending him for the lies he's told.

Briar wanted to be independent in her new apartment in the city. She wanted to work and buy shoes and live her life away from her small town. She trusted the wrong person and ended up abducted and sold.

Saint's and Briar's paths collide and Saint immediately jumps in to help Briar, giving her a safe place to recover. He knows she needs him, but what he doesn't realize is how much he needs her, too.

"I don’t know who I am right now or what I’m going to do. But my gut instinct tells me Saint will help me figure it all out."

What you get:
- MC traitor
- age gap
- slow burn, but so worth it

As in her other books in this series, Scarlett Cole is the queen of setting up the next book. She doesn't disappoint in the second epilogue of this one either - my jaw is still on the floor.

"My sweet Briar. You have the beauty of a wild rose but need to use your thorns to stop your petals from getting stomped on."

So this book is Saint and Briar's book and woah buddy is it like any MC book I've read!! Ok so it like goes over some parts in book 2 just in Saint and Briar's pov which I like seeing as how they were there and a lot of things went down. And things keep going down!! I love how Saint sees that sometimes that what needs to happen in the world falls between those gray lines. And he chooses the MC life over that of the ATF and he protects his brothers of the club. But that's where he found his family. And Briar, she really found her inner strength by going through what she had to go through. And with Saints help and strength and love and support she knows she can handle anything that life throws at her. But lord how this book leaves you hanging for Kings book!! And what does he think he is doing!!??!! Like I am so glad I don't have to what!! This was a fantastic read! And a must read series!!

Arghhh!!! That epilogue…! So good!

Anyway I digress… if you’re keeping up with the Iron Outlaws then you will be desperate to know what happens after the explosive ending of Spark and Iris’s story, after the cover was blown right off Saint’s whole story…you will want to know all about his lady and how their tragic meeting changed everything in both their lives.
This story had me turning pages furiously as I needed to know how it would all pan out…and even now we still don’t know quite how it will all end…
What we do know and get to witness, is the agony and turmoil that Saint goes through. The moral dilemma as he questions everything he thought he believed, everything his training told him to believe and the rules he vowed to follow.
Then we have lovely Briar….she’s strong and independent, but the knock to her confidence means she finds herself relying on Saint….but it also gives her a chance to see the real man and everything he stands for…and she can’t help but fall for his strength, power and integrity.

Loved this and I love these guys…I just can’t wait for the next one..especially after the hints and teasers from Ms Cole!

This series just keeps getting better and better. Saint quickly became my favorite so far.

Saint and Briar share this undeniable chemistry but Saint tries to resist temptation not really knowing if he can. With all the secrets and lies Saint has a hard time juggling his real life, the life with his brothers and wanting to keep Briar safe. Will everything come crashing down around him or can he make it through while holding on to everything he cares about?

I loved how strong Briar was, she goes through something so traumatic and life altering and is still able to survive. Saint is so flipping hot! The sizzling inferno between the two was so good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I grabs your attention and you're just along for the twists and turns. 🌶🌶🌶🌶 I can not wait for more of the Iron Outlaws!

I remember when The Sins We Hide was first released, Scarlett posted a question of who would we call dibs on; I said Saint. A priest in an MC 🤔 he’s got to be an interesting person with one hell of a story. I was right!

We found out a bit more about Saint at the end of The Games We Play. And it foreshadows a story with twists and turns; and it didn’t disappoint. This book exceeded my expectations and surprised me along the way. (If you haven’t read the prior books, don’t worry. Iron Outlaws MC series are interconnected standalone. But I felt like I got more out of this book by reading the others first.)

Saint’s character is complex. He’s faced with a lot of major decisions in this book. And it causes him to question himself, his morals, and who he really is. You can feel the emotions and his struggles.

When Briar is introduced I knew I would like her, no doubt. She’s smart, motivated, and brave. As she changes throughout the book I fell in love with her more and more.

Saint and Briar are those two people who just fit together perfectly. Their meeting was unconventional but definitely meant to be.

The ending…😬 and what’s to come😮🫢🤯

This was a captivating, nerve-racking, and emotional read. It was hard for me to put down. 🤫 Don’t tell the other books in the series but this is my favorite.

100% PERFECTION!!

I was so excited for Saint’s book! After book 2, I couldn’t wait to start it. And that bombshell with Saint, he shocked me with what he was hiding. I wasn’t sure what his fate would be with his MC brothers. He’s risked everything, including his life, when he saved Briar and then especially Rose. We get to see so much of the uncertainty and conflicting emotions Saint has with what he has to do and the choices he’s made. And what he had to endure in order to be forgiven, it was horrible and I felt so sorry for him. He sacrificed so much, and made it easier so when Rose reported what happened to her nothing would blow back on the club.
I was really looking forward to Saint’s story, and it definitely delivered. This is definitely my favorite so far. Him and Briar were absolute perfection together. Oh my god, I had hearts in my eyes over these two.
But that ending!!! WTF??! King and Rae’s story is next and I have a feeling it’s going to rival Saints! I so don’t want to like King, and I don’t, but I have a feeling we’re going to see a huge difference in him after his book!

The Lies We Tell is the third book in the Iron Outlaws MC series. This book focuses on Saint and Briar. I would recommend reading the first two books before diving into this one because this book does overlap a lot with the second book. I loved the first two books in this series, but this one completely blew me away! There are so many twists that had my emotions all over the place. I sat down yesterday to read just a few chapters and ended up not getting up until I finished the book.

I absolutely loved Saint. He is protective and is trying so hard to do what's right even though he is being pulled in so many different directions. I liked Briar and loved how she was so supportive of Saint. Their dynamics were great and Briar had me laughing so many times when she called him an old man (I always love a good age gap).

So this book was great, but that cliffhanger has me anxiously awaiting book 4. When I read the second epilogue to see who was going to be featured in book 4 and what the storyline was going to be, I almost threw my iPad. I was so angry but it did make me really excited for the next book! I can't wait to see with Cole comes up with for these characters!

Brotherhood and Betrayal

The Lies We Tell is another stellar installation in the Iron Outlaws MC Series. Saint and Briar are both pushed to a crossroad in their lives. Briar's sense of independence and safety are shattered. When Saint rescues Briar, it is a catalyst he needs to shed his already crumbling sense of self. Together, these two characters find strength and solace and courage. Just as their bond starts to solidify, Saint's carefully planned op goes sideways (by his own hand). He sacrifices his undercover operation to protect his brothers. In doing so, he makes them his enemies. The race to stay safe and salvage a life worth living is fast-paced and filled with suspense. This series just keeps getting better! The stakes in this book are turned up a notch and thoroughly palpable.  Ms. Cole planted quite a twist in the second epilogue, and I can't wait to see where this series takes us next!

Since the end of volume two, I want to read it. And now, I need volume four, because what I wanted between two characters will happen (I won't tell you more so as not to spoil you).
Waw this volume three, what to say about it? There are so many things to say and only positive things.
I loved both characters, Briar and Saint. Their story is beautiful, but also with a touch of sadness. They are both ready to do anything to protect the person they love.
I really liked how the author managed to link volume two and three.
As much, I had not read the first volume and I understood the second. But here I really advise you to read the second one before this one.
When I started it, I didn't want to stop, because I needed to know what happened next. And I still have this need for volume 4, because it promises tons of twists.

I really really love a redemption arc. And this one was one of the best I have read in a while well he is not betraying the FMC. He is betraying his brothers.

I really enjoyed Saint and Briar's story!
Saint/Ryker has been undercover within the Iron Outlaws MC for two years but as he is growing closer to the club and becoming a real brother to most of the men lines are being crossed.
They'd both do anything to protect the other

The Lies We Tell was so good. I think Saint is my favorite member of the Outlaw's. He was so sweet, caring, and loving. I loved his personality and his story. Briar was amazing. I loved her so much. Their chemistry was off the charts and their love was beautiful. I loved how they did everything together and how amazing their team was. The story was so good. So much betrayal and hurt. The ending was perfect and I cannot wait for King's story!!!

Scarlett Cole's world and storytelling has me hooked. I love that Saint was loving, caring and sweet. The chemistry between Saint and Briar was on fire. The mental health issues that were in this book read realistic. Briar is a strong heroine this is portrayed throughout the book. I love Briar's character for being like that. You could be tell the the author actually researched how to portray actually. I really enjoyed this book. If you like MC romance genre/tropes this one is right up your alley.
