We’re almost out of the Atlantic Ocean and headed straight for the Caribbean Sea, but the destruction we find among the Florida Keys is a grim reminder of how dangerous the waters ahead are.
Especially as dragon eggs start appearing in the wreckage.
But even in a dragon apocalypse, there’s always a greater threat that humanity itself can throw our way.
The author is doing a terrific job of keeping the plot moving while throwing in enough changes on the fly to keep things interesting and realistic. The characters are wonderful and provide some very real humanity and laughs. Very nice job of writing by the author. Looking forward to Book 4!
I’m including all three books up to book three in this review. Only Eric Vall could take a most improbable scenario and make it realistic. The descriptions of the scenes are so vivid that you feel you are living through the MC. The MC emotes so clearly that you feel everything he does. This is a what dragons really came to earth using the guise of meteors? Sounds crazy right? Take a chance and get these books - you’ll be glad you did!
This was a good addition to the Apocalyptic Pirates series but did not impress me as much as the previous 2 books. The action seemed a little less exciting but was still fun. This is not a bad book and I still enjoyed the read but I did not feel the same pull as the previous books. I did like the introduction of Dia to the group but felt it was a little more forced than the previous ladies and seemed to be more of a need to add another player to the mix versus an organic addition like the first three ladies. She does provide a counter to the other three with a little more edgy feel and less like the damsel in distress and could develop into something great just did feel a little less fluid. The action was not bad but seemed to be a little less in tune with the rest of the books for me. I am still interested in the next book and will definitely read it once it comes out. I just hope Drew and the ladies can get me a little more excited for their story to continue in the next installment.
I didn’t think this series would be any good, and I hate apocolipic stories. However I was out of books and this is an authur I’ve read before, so I took al leap of faith. I’m glad I did. It’s a good story with a few lapses, but who am I to say anything about it? I’m only an old retired paratrooper. Anyway, it’s a good series, and I’m going for book 4 as soon as I stop yacking at y’all.
Enjoyed the progression of the story. Some surprising developments and mysteries left to uncover in later books. Nice to see them learning how to deal with the dragons. Looking forward to the next book.
This is another exciting and rip-roaring adventure with TheGoodPirates. Tons of fast-paced action with dragons, cartel members, rescues, and sexy times. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and can't wait to see what happens next.
There is something to be said about pirates in the modern age. A group of people trying to get to a particular point and helping people along the way. It's the way things should be. Can't hardly wait for book #4.
I did not realise that there were 8 books in this series at first, but it soon became apparent that three would not cut it. So now this is an epic, and I have the next 5 lined up. Good reading Folks.
A fast paced and entertaining adventure!!! I've quickly became a fan of this series! Great world development and as expected from this author a goid storyline!!!
Eric Vall writes great apocalypse series. This one is a great example. Lots of action, ladies and a good story keeps me wanting the next one. Can't wait.
