This was sweet, and layered, and emotional. It's got good angsty vibes, and the story unfolds in a realistic way with believable complications and personalities. The two main characters have good backstories and flawed personalities that nevertheless interact in intriguing ways. I can see their chemistry, despite the fact that a lot of their connection happens in the gaps rather than direct communication. They've got a pretty big age gap which is probably not ideal, but there's no grooming or anything especially red flagy - it's far more morally grey where there's two complicated people finding what they need in each other.

All that said, it was a lot longer than it needed to be, and not especially original. A prince and a pauper style story, where it takes a while to see why the 'prince' ever picked up the pauper in the first place. It is eventually explained, but only after a long time.

The art is just okay. Nothing amazing, but nothing off-putting either.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but I got bored at different parts and I wish it had been shorter.

Hoy en día lamentablemente para leer BLs se necesita apagar el cerebro y disfrutar el dibujo. Esta historia es un claro ejemplo de ello. La gente va a defender el romance entre los protagonistas de esta historia diciendo "los dos son adultos", lo cual sí, es cierto. ¿Pero una relación de alguien de más de 30 con uno de 18 les parece normal, por más legal que sea? Sin mencionar que cuando se conocen y el ML lo empieza a ayudar al prota, éste todavía tenía 17... grooming at its finest, por más que el ML fuera una green flag y no tuviera malas intenciones.

Habiendo apagado mi cerebro para esa parte de la historia, en sí no es una trama aburrida y el dibujo es muy lindo. No es lo mejor que leí en mi vida pero tampoco lo peor. Pero bueno, a la autora no le costaba nada o hacerlo más chiquito al ML o más grande al protagonista para que así el age-gap no se sintiera tan inapropiado.

Hmm, turns out the story is pretty interesting, and I didn't expect to like it.

Although, yeah, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the love story involving a significant age gap, but since they mentioned that 18 yo is considered adulthood, I guess it's fine. For me, adulthood starts at 20 yo!

But, aside from that issue, everything else in this manhwa is pretty good. The story, the plot, and the characters are quite well done, though the art is just average in my opinion.

I think I'll continue with the second season. But not anytime soon because I want to find a manga with art that's more pleasing to my eyes!

This all comes around in a circle. The emotions and situations were portrayed accurately, like what would it be like in reality. But yet picking up a kid on the street, age gap and then adopting your lover, having s*x with a just turned 18 kid. It was uncomfortable to read.
