July 16, 2019This was my first read by this author and I expected this series to be really good due to the 5 stars Part 1 had on Amazon. Part 2 really wasn't necessary. It could have just been a standalone. That ending was really dry and lacked substance. I really expected more.

Great Read!
Wow! I’m sad the book is finished I wanted to read more. Sigh 😔 but that Sawyer is a real Stand up guy Fa Sure. I loved everything about him he was a great father & loved Brynlee and the ground she walked on. I thought Troy was gonna pop off & start more drama especially with how he hung up on her after that phone call in the gender reveal. Good thing Sawyer babyma got the picture b/c he surely was gone kill her ass, it’s unfortunate she bout to raise her baby alone Shrugs... I wanna hear more about merci and Grayson relationship also that damn Luca, he really believes he can have the twins together lol

After Brynlynn went back to Troy to make things work, but she ended up getting a big surprise, Troy is very inconsiderate and was all about his self, Sawyer is always there to pick up the pieces when it comes to Brynlynn.

I love Brynlee and Sawyer together since part 1 of the series
I love how Sawyer didn't give up on his love for Brynlee when he saw her get embarrassed by a f-boy he know she needed him to take control and take her back to Texas.
Troy is the biggest f-boy I ever read about how do u get mad and pulled the a gun on ur fiance cuz she want to leave and move out of the place u begged her to come back to and the reason she was wants to leave is because she found out the u had a WHOLE baby on her when everytime she get pregnant she has miscarriage.
Brynlee was very emotional in this part series and it was understandable. She found out that the person she was supposed to married had a baby by someone else then she find out that she was pregnant and she did not know if the baby was Sawyer or Tory no good ass. Love this book I'm hoping there a spin-off with Meric & Greyson to see how their relationship plays out

This book had my heart beating so fast as I read page by page
Sawyer is man not to be toiled with especially when it comes his friends and family. Brynlee had Sawyer’s nose wide open because of his love, commitment and the need for her to feel supported ten toes down. Although Sawyer, loved Brynlee he needed her to be a grown up when it came to dealing with her pain and emotions. I loved how he kept 100 with her at all times. Well let’s just say the majority of the time. So, join many of us a purchase both books because this is some good writing that will certainly keep you turning pages.

This was a great ending to this series. I was so happy when Brynlee finally saw Troy for the no good scumbag he was. Leave it to Sawyer though to step in and fix her broken heart and give her the child she could never have. Guess he was right huh. I'm so happy Merci finally found someone as well. Glad too see Sawyer baby mama, Zeila, working on herself. I applaud Greyson for putting his ex in place. Would love to see more of Merci, Greyson, Luca, and the Twins! Just enough...
This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. Sawyer was nothing like the usual bad boys, in fact, he was hood, with a good balance of being a gentleman. Brynlee suffered a lot with Troy, and at times I thought she was going to forgive him and take him back. Thankfully, she didn’t. I Love how the author gave enough detail without overdoing the story and stretching things out. The pace continued, the drama continued, and I was really happy with the way things ended. Merci, you got next!

This book finished the story from Book 1. It picks up with Braylen learning about Troy's baby. Coincidentally, sawyer is there and he helps put her back together. I liked the fact that she left Troy for good but I did not like the fact that she immediately jumped into a new relationship with Sawyer. I know Sawyer was the hero but what she went through was traumatic and if she doesn't take time to heal, she most likely won't be healthy enough for the next relationship. I also wasn't buying Sawyer's sudden love for Braylen. Braylen completely ghosted him after they had a phenomenal date and sex, and she ran back to her cheating man. She blocked his number and offered no communication. Then I'm supposed to believe he sees her and suddenly he's 100% in for her? It was completely unrealistic.
Anyway, I suspended reality for the sake of the story. But even still more unrealistic stuff kept happening. Sawyer deads somebody out of the blue. Braylen gets pregnant and carries her baby to term. Sawyer doesn't care who the father is. Troy never questions if he's the father. Jadore let's Troy stay with her.
This is a fun story not based in reality with simple females and wanna be hard males.

I'm surprised Brynlee gave Troy another chance and basically ghosted Sawyer. Sawyer poured into Brynlee and was the better man for her. Troy was selfish as hell begging, crying, and pleading with Brynlee to come back knowing he was still hiding a secret that was very devastating. Jadore purposely started that argument with Troy on purpose waiting for Brynlee to pop up and when the truth was revealed. Brynlee was crushed and also humiliated. I'm glad Sawyer was happened to be there to help her through it and wasn't bitter about how she left. He was able to get through that hurt. Brynlee was also blessed with something she really wanted. Greyson and Merci are good for each other but with Zella popping back up. It had Greyson in his feelings. Mercy mother was a damn mess. It wasn't hard to figure out why Merci twin cousin's were ready to leave. I'm glad she got them from there before the situation got worse.

After book One I just knew that Sawyer would fall into the typical character and avoid Bren-Lee because she left and went back to Troy. And that there would be the usual tit for tay until they realized they couldn’t live without each other. Well that wasn’t the case. Sawyer never deterred from his love for Bren-Lee and he welcomed her back like she never left. I love their story and I am happy for Merci and Gray too. Now Lucas needs to find him someone other than the twins and all will be right. Good book.

Idk too much about Grey but right now he getting a side eye from me. I love Merci blunt and honest plus a loyal friend. Can’t lie that paternity test had me like is the baby really his since he didn’t wanna show her the results.

Lawd knows Troy tried it. I couldn't understand how he thought his secret would never come to light and when it did everything would stay the same. He should've thought of all the what ifs instead of assuming he'd always have Brynlee. Sawyer always seemed to come through when it mattered the most and I appreciated him stepping up how he did. Everything wasn't as smooth but what relationship ever is. Brynlee had an attitude out of this world but that closure from Troy was definitely an eye opener before she ended up alone. Spencer just had to try it with his scary ass! Kelia's actions lead to more than what she bargained for but it was necessary in order to humble her. I was calling Grey all kind of names because of how he started moving. Bad judgement on his part almost cost him everything. Merci deserved some happiness after everything she'd been through and there's no reason anyone should have her questioning her so called man. I loved this finale because you could actually see the growth in each character as they dealt with the hurt from being betrayed as well as allowing the right one to love them. Brynlee may have been running from the environment in which she was raised but all it took was Sawyer to come and show her that being snatched up by a bad boy wasn't quite like she expected. Brynlee not only got a good man but also the one thing she never thought she'd be able to experience.

Well hard head makes a soft azz when we are soo in love and I get it Brynn and Troy had history. Leaving Houston and going back to NYC Brynn was back with Troy for the bullshid. Merci tried to talk with her sister but Brynn was not listening so their relationship went on pause. Troy was still trying to keep The secret but Jadore was slowly changing and was not going for it anymore. Saw was soo hurt Brynn left without saying one word but he ends up at a basketball game for his brother that happens to be where Troy is coaching! This is the best place for his secret to come out and it does!!! Brynn unravels and cannot believe Troy did this to her. Saw steps in and slowly coves her with love and assurance that unfortunately he was just a @#ck boy! Merci and Brynn’s parents are right by her side as she mends her heart. Kelia is dating Spencer the psychopath and Saw has taken Sai’von until she can do better. Spencer wants Saw dead and someone may get their wish. Kelia finally gets the message through an azz beating and a threat she will never forget will finally have her on a straight and narrow with Saw and Brynn. Troy hits rock bottom and Jadore refuses to go down with him but she truly cares for him. Making peace with Brynn is one step better than he was and Brynn has made her peace and moved on with a pregnancy she finally carried and the blood test solidifies her heart ❤️, 💕 and life with her man who told promised her he had her.

This was cute, very cute...yet very different.
So finally... As stated before this is my first time reading this author, and although it was similar to some other urban books, it was different as well. This was a story, more fictional than real but with the underlying message that "when it's your time, it's your time to either be great, bad, remorseful, happy, content, mad, sad etc... Because God is always looking out for you"
Brynlyne, even though she was running from her old stumping ground, what was written for her did come out at the perfect time. She did, at times, sounded childish, undesicive, gullible and even naive but also selfish and yet she was able to pull through.
Sawyer, well bae all the way; alpha, thug, hood, boss man, intelligent, loyal, uplifting and very dedicated. He was not your typical hoodlum in the stories.
Merci and Greyson, we're both loyal, respectful, self reliant and very much so connected.
Lelia, Troy, Spencer, Nikki, all for what they deserved. Karma paid them a sweet visit.
What made this story so different is depth of feelings going on and those subtle God messages that he was sharing with us.
