Razia Sultana

Rate this book
As the Sultan of Delhi from 1236 until May 1240, Razia al-Din, known as Razia Sultan, was in charge of the city's administration. She was descended from slaves of the Turkish Seljuks, and like other Muslim princesses of the era, she had been trained to lead armies and control nations if necessary. She was one of just a handful of female rulers in Islamic history. Reigning Sultan of Delhi Shams ud-din Iltumish died in 1236 and his daughter Razia took over the throne. Razia and Altunia eloped in September of 1240 because she saw their marriage as a method of regaining her throne.

The book must be written for the propagation of women's glory generally and Razia Sultana specifically. Good Book we can read once. Reiterating the same information is really boring. Delicate care is not followed while editing.
