I have read a couple of the other books in the series. It popped up in my KU suggestions and I realized I needed a little palate cleanser from the fantasy arc I’m reading.

Roughly 50 pages and I enjoyed it. Definitely would probably read them from time to time when I’m wanting something light and quick

Brianna is determined to finish her weather thesis and can think of nowhere better than the mountain of Snowflake falls, so when she is offered a cabin on the furthest side of the mountain for free if she looks after the owner’s cat she jumps at the chance. However, on route to the cabin her fish dies and its whilst she is burying him that she meets her neighbour, Adam. He is the exact description of a mountain man and her biggest distraction. He crowds her thoughts in the best way and when she slips and hurts her ankle, he is the one to come to her rescue. But she is meant to be working and her mountain man is soon all she is thinking about, could this be more than just an April shower?

Adam left civilization three years ago after his best friend and girlfriend betrayed him in the worst way, once immersed in the world of tech he now lives the simple life in his cabin on far side of Snowflake falls mountain. He was happy all alone with his books and no contact with the outside world, that is until his new neighbour and weather sprite moved in next door. She is everything that he should avoid and everything that he cant ignore. Soon he is feeling things that he had thought were gone forever but is he willing to give up the life he has and return to the land of the living for the chance of love?

I love these quick mountain man books and they have everything that you could ask for the grumpy mountain man hiding away licking his wounds and the one they never expected to find. Highly recommended author easily one of my favorites. 4.2* Read.

Brianna was only looking for a quiet place where she could buckle down and complete her thesis, but fate brought her into the path of her grumpy mountain man neighbour and this threw her through a loop. Adam had lived a solo existence for over three years and was shocked to discover he had a new neighbour, but what really got him, was the attraction he felt towards Brianna. It was a feeling he had given up on experiencing after his ex-fiancé’s betrayal.

Brianna was stubborn, but when she found herself in a bind, Adam had luckily anticipated her action and therefore stepped in to rescue her, which made them act on their budding attraction for each other. Unfortunately, just as they were getting into the groove of their relationship, a misunderstanding created friction between them, but it took Adam realising his mistake an apologising, for them to get back on track to working towards a happy life together.

This is the book you go to, if you want to read a quick, chemistry filled & insta love romance story, that will have you glued to the pages and leave you wanting more.

Bree needs to get away and just focus on her weather thesis, so she offers to cat-sit at a cabin in the mountains.

On the way to the cabin, her pet fish dies, and she buries it before getting there. That's when she meets her cabin neighbor, Adam. When you think of a mountain man, that's precisely what Adam looks like—tall, thick, and handsome. Bree is screwed because she came up to work on her thesis and wasn't planning on being distracted by her insanely hot neighbor.

Adam tells her that there's a storm brewing and to stay inside because it's dangerous to be outside, but of course, she doesn't listen and thinks it's the perfect time to go take pictures. While taking pictures, she injures her ankle, and Adam comes to the rescue.

I love Jessa's novellas; they are quick, fun, and sweet, and the guys are always so swoony and head over heels for their women. I can't wait to read more books from her.

1/5. I- I’m sorry, but what the freak. That could have been a paragraph. A synopsis for a book would have been better than whatever that writing was. I feel as though I could have written that and gotten the same amount of positive reviews as this book has.

I wouldn’t even consider this a book. This is a pamphlet that should be titled “what to do in case of emergencies and you find out your neighbor is hot! (key points: fall in love immediately and forgo all sorts of plot and ignore any sort of common sense that goes into a relationship 🤪😆😁)”.

Like, come on! This has no plot besides “my neighbor is hot and i don’t know what to do about it” and the “third act breakup” is just absolutely so disappointing. i feel like one could have taken this and written a disney channel show episode and it would have blown up and gotten a million dollars because that’s what it felt like to read this.

I’m so glad for you if you like this, and enjoy whatever else you read ✌️

Quick, cute, and perfect for a lunchtime read. Took me less than 40 minutes, but I read fast.

I enjoyed Curvy Girl and the Mountain Man Next Door. Brianna has moved to a cabin to finish her thesis on meteorology. Adam likes living away from people without any technology. They seem very different but these two have great chemistry. When Brianna gets hurt while taking photos for her paper, Adam is able to rescue her. But Adam is scared of his feelings and hurt by his last so he runs. Will he realize his mistake before it’s too late? This is a cute, sweet story and I loved the characters. I love stories with Snowflake Falls. I would definitely recommend this book.

I fell in love with Adam! He is a huge mountain man that is basically a recluse. He comes across Brianna on the side of the mountain while she is burying her dead fish. Brianna is on her way to a cabin that she’ll be cat-sitting at for the next 3 months. Almost immediately, Adam is drawn to Brianna so, naturally, his defenses go up and he is gruff with her.
I loved this book and found myself cheering for them to get together already! A couple of misunderstandings might stack up the odds against them but I believe that this author will deliver the HEA that Brianna and Adam deserve!.

Brianna has rented a cabin in the mountains to finish her thesis in meteorology; Adam is her nearest neighbour, his cabin a retreat where he's been disconnected from the real world for the past three years. Despite a rocky first meeting, both are unable to get the other out of their minds - enough that Adam is prepared to come to her rescue when her work gets her injured out in a storm. An entertaining, steamy and swoon-worthy instalove romance.

Adam and Brianna's Story . . .

Brianna is a meteorology student who has arranged for a mountain cabin in Snowflake Falls to work on her studies in return for cat-sitting for the owners. Adam, her neighbor, enjoys his quiet settled life. So although their initial meeting was a little bumpy, the beginning of an attraction was still there.

When Brianna goes out to take photos as part of her school work, she is injured during a storm. Adam doesn’t hesitate to rescue her and take her back to his cabin. Is he ready to take a chance with Brianna after his last girlfriend walked out on him? Or will a misunderstanding keep them apart?

Briana is house-sitting while working on her thesis on teorology. Adam is her nearest neighbor. He rescues her during a storm. They are attracted to each other and act upon it. When Briana wakes up, Adam is gone. Was it a one and done? Will she see him again?

I enjoyed this story. I would have liked it longer for better plot development. The characters were good. I would have liked to see how they got where they got and where they came from. I liked Adam and Briana. They were good for each other. She brings him back to the world. He loves her wholeheartedly. I would also like to see where they go from here.

Brianna is moving to the wrong side of the mountain in Snowflake Falls. She is cat sitting for 3 months and working on her thesis. Adam lives on the wrong side of the mountain. He loves it. On Brianna’s first day she has her first encounter with Adam. She is an independent, confident woman. Adam is aware of what happens on the mountain - there are dangers she won’t know about. I liked these two characters. They clicked immediately. The characters were easy to like, down to earth and just natural. There was an easy flow to the story. It was light hearted, enjoyable, entertaining and a super read!.

Brianna has found a cabin up in the mountains where she can finish her thesis on Meteorology. Her only neighbour is a recluse and works the land on the mountain keeping everyone at bay. From the moment these two meet in the pouring rain the air snaps and crackles between them. Adam gave up his high power tech life and retreated to the mountains but now with Brianna he’s around he’s wondering if it’s time to live again. A fun fast read with Adam and Brianna. I’m enjoying the man next door series by Jessa Joy. So far all have been well written fast reads about an hour. I loved Brianna and Adam’s story here. Brianna is working on her thesis and will be staying on the top of the mountain for the next few months. Adam is her closest neighbor. It’s immediate attraction when they meet but Adam has given up on technology and Brianna needs it. Can they come to a compromise that will benefit both. Nice steamy love story.

Brianna Is determined to do this on her own. She has her thesis to finish and the best of doing that is to head out to a cabin halfway up a mountain. Ok she has to feed the owners' cat while she's there but aside from that no distractions. Hmm yes well that was the plan until she meets her one and only nieghbour on the first trip to the cabin. Adam is nothing but a dsitraction. He's a bit growly to be sure but he also seems very genuine and caring. What does the long range forecast say for these two?

I kept asking myself how these two will ever get together as I read this book. Their connection was amazing but Adam, for sure, had no idea who is supposed to be. Brianna was a bit insecure but being young and a bit unsure can make you doubt your instincts about the guy who can't figure himself out. Really liked how when they were together nothing else mattered.

Adam moved to the mountains for the solitude and meeting Brianna changed everything for him. Brianna is cat sitting for his neighbor while finishing her thesis and things take a steamy turn with her grumpy neighbor goes sweet on her during a storm. This is a short, sweet, and steamy age gap romance and I loved the way the author brought them together The writing is good, the characters are believable, and the happily ever after was great. It was an okay book!!!!

This was a cute instalove short romance.... He acted like a grump at the beginning trying to boss her around telling her to stay in because the weather was gonna be bad when it turned out she knew the weather better than he did.... Adam was hurt and wanted nothing to do with love, but he found his self attracted to Brianna.... Things between them heated up and got steamy soon after.....

This sweet short story will make you laugh and give you all the feels. I cannot wait for more set in Snowflake Falls and to see if more will be set on the wild side on the mountain. It should be interesting to see if Adam pulls his partner into Snowflake Falls to find his love or not.

This was a really cute mountain man romance. It was a short story with a good pace and a lot of humor and steam. Adam and Brianna were very different but I loved how the story showed both their strengths and weaknesses. I was entertaining from start to finish.
