Great resource and guide for anyone interested in playing with soil. Martha Stewart literally tells you to braid the leaves of your spent gladioli. Mike, by contrast, will give you three ways to get more for less work. Everything is designed to make your future efforts easier. It’s downright enlightening.
Permaculturists can be more intimidating than Martha—I should basically rebuild my house. There’s nothing like that here. Yet, I may be rebuilding my soil.

Poorly structured and full of typos. Page 24 just ends mid-sentence and a new section begins on page 25. The first step of the first “activity” is to google the instructions. The diagrams are difficult to understand and are not color-blind friendly. You don’t learn much from this book but there is a lot of advertisements for his more expensive book. This book was intended to be a course but is in desperate need of an editor and instructional designer.
