The Last Rider
Nothing lasts forever.
Sure, everyone has an opinion, but when the Oracle of Delphi includes you and your dead-beat Dad in a doomsday prophecy, it’s time to click off your phone and listen.
Although, as Luna finds out, it’s pretty much straight downhill from there with slimy necromancers, demon badgers, weaver assassins and cave golems, all a part of the grotesque menagerie taking part in her certain demise.
The worst part… some dude called the Nightbringer is coming, or so she’s been warned. He’s a dark rider with great powers whose sole imperative is to destroy her. Fun.
If Luna can survive that and all the rest and every little thing goes just right, she’ll be stuck in another realm forever, hunched on an Eternal throne. In other words, she’ll have the job from hell where retirement is death.
And her man Winter? He’s gone mortal.

This is the 6th & final book in this fantasy series which I randomly started in 2021 because the first 4 books were free with kobo plus. It’s full of action, suspense, witty banter, crazy scenarios, flirting, sarcasm & magic. The ending felt a little rushed but it still ended the series nicely in my opinion. I honestly really enjoyed reading this series!! 4/5

What a thrill ride! I still can't believe how fantastic this series has been. It has it all: great characters, an amazing storyline with many unexpected turns, witty banter, tons of humor, magic, mythology, even more action and an amazing romantic subplot. I'm sad to see it come to an end, but what an ending! Simply epic. Can we get a spinoff or a sequel or something?

This is the final book of the Mist Riders Series, and I feel like I am saying goodbye to some old friends. This book is about tough decisions, and agony hits red as Luna draws her sword and prepares to fight the Evil.
I loved the Greek Mythology references, and that part of the story is set on the island of Crete. The perfect scenery for a grand finale!
