As a child Tanabe was always tagging behind Haruyama, but in high-school after he became a ping-pong ace their relationship is gradually getting worse. Who is the one tagging along for real and why is Tanabe always so quiet? A touching and yet funny story with ping-pong as its background.

This volume also contains a one-shot about one very interesting hairdresser and a two-chapter story about a dentist and his fated client.

The second volume of rereleases of Hidaka Shoko's early works. I liked the stories in here better than in restart; especially "Hatsukoi no hito" and its sequel are sooo cute <3 A very satisfying volume.

Trata de dos amigos de infancia que dejaron de serlo por una tonteria, en la adolescencia no pueden controlar las hormonas y acaban metiéndose mano dia si y dia también, y en el presente, muchos años después, ambos idiotas vuelven a encontrarse y pelearse e intimar.

No me ha gustado y me aburría, todo me parecía dificil de entender, más el porqué de los pensamientos y acciones de los personajes.

Esta historia me provocaba una sensación de continuo rechazo, la relación entre ambos personajes es absolutamente tóxica, no creo que puedan aportarse nada más que dolor. Ello lo evidencia el hecho de que solo se importan ellos mismos y jamás se paran a pensar en los sentimientos del otro. Además, las relaciones sexuales en la adolescencia nunca fueron consentidas, siempre tuvo un tinte forzado y por tanto asqueroso.

Los protagonistas no me gustaron nada y no los pude comprender, los dos estaban llenos de rabia, envidia y emociones que ni ellos entendían como para entenderles yo a ellos. Su historia nunca fue de amor y no tuvo profundidad alguna, aguantar a los protagonistas fue dificil, sobre todo al egoista, consentido y semi acosador del chico castaño.

El tema del ping pong solo sale para aburrir. Y lo peor es que casi todo transcurre en la adolescencia y luego se pasa a un monton de años despues donde han estado sin verse y desaparecidos y por tanto se cabrean como locos para acabar con el tipico happy end después de meter el sexo de por medio, sexo otra vez medio forzado o esa sensación daba.

Las ilustraciones me han parecido feas y muy oscuras y el sexo de mal gusto.

Los relatos extras independientes no los he leído.

I really like Shoko Hidaka's art - especially the first set of stories is really pretty. I wish it was apparent from the back that this is a collection of stories - the first part felt a bit unfinished. But it was still really enjoyable. And very pretty.

The art is nice but this didn't do it for me. there was really no story here, it just kinda ended and went into a couple other short stories that were similarly themed and also had no plot. Don't waste your time.
