A wonderful book recounting some the many shenanigans that occurred in The Old Forge during the years Ian and Jackie Robertson were custodians. This book offers an insight in to not only who Ian and Jackie are beyond the people we see in the pub, but also some of the many challenges faced by estates at that time and the difficulties and excitement of a community buyout. As a huge fan of The Old Forge when Ian and Jackie ran it this book offeres many tales of great times and great craic.

As regular visitors to Knoydart and the pub of old, we loved reading some of the stories of the community and its people.
We are excited to experience the pub again now it is also in the hands of the community.
Great book.
