I really liked this book in the beginning, but the ending left much to be desired.
First off, I absolutely love that their accents are written out. It's quirky and cute. I also loved that Ebbe also ended up with his beloved. I also really loved the werewolves.
There are some graphic scenes, but it was still readable for me.
Towards the end is where I had issues. I wanted more of V as a big bad, but Axel comes in and kills her in like 2 minutes. I'm glad he can get shit done, but I feel like I knew nothing about her. They exchanged a couple of words, and that just felt lackluster. Now on to some formatting/ text mistakes. There was a copy and paste of two lines towards the last 10 percent of the book. The worst mistake for me was the end of chapter 36, where it just ends in the middle of a sentence.
Overall, this story had a strong beginning but just fizzled out for me by the end.

Vampire's: Axel and Ebbe stop at a little village to get Axel's sword fixed. After dropping the sword off. They come across 3 men who are going to rape a beautiful woman(Morgan). Axel saves the woman and realizes that she is his beloved. He proceeds to court her. Will Axel find enough courage to tell Morgan what he is? Or will his past catch up to him sooner than he thinks and destroy his chance?
This was a wonderful book!! There is a lot of action with a lot of cunning characters! Axel is the perfect book boyfriend! He's possessive, Loyal, considerate. Even though he does smother her a little bit. I love the combined historical and paranomal aspects of the story. I highly recommend this book!
Warning it is a little too realistic. So, make sure to read the triggers!

good start, but
This should come with trigger warnings. The h gets abducted and raped. Not that it matters, but she was a virgin waiting to marry the H who had been wooing her. The reader gets to witness it. The H does kill the human monsters who did it, but I don’t read rape books. I wish I hadn’t read this one and I wouldn’t if there had been a warning. It was a DNF for me.

This is the first book I have read of yours. I plan to read the first in this series. I loved the whole concept of this book. Adel and Morgan are so.good together. I.hope there is a book on Ebbe.

Enjoyed this book, the things they went through although bad/hard, made the story more gripping. Looking forward to future events with the famiky.
