Absolutely great little gory short story that has a terrible twist at the end! Descriptions of the gore ladden scenes are on point. Enjoyed the main character quick thinking in the bathroom.
As much as I love horror, one problem I tend to have with the genre, is some authors are afraid to go to certain depths to really smush your soul into a pulp. Shaun Hupp is not afraid to do that! In such a short story, he is able to have you run the absolute gamut of emotions! If you're not afraid to have your feelings, spun around like it's in a blender, I highly recommend his work! And Mice is a perfect place to start!
5 stars for what it is. Very short story, hate mice and it did an even better job making me hate them even more. Even with it being so short it was thought provoking with what the ending could possibly be, in my opinion a few alternative endings could’ve been more meaningful but still a great short read.
Well written and very discriptive...Shaun paints a picture with words that is terrifying! Thoroughly recommend this book if you enjoy extreme horror...
Nicely written with a quick pace some graphic scenes but not much. Like I said in earlier review this dude can write. I recommend to all fans of indie horror or horror in general.
For such a short book it was a good plot but I feel like I couldn’t give it many more stars with it being so short !!! Won’t look at mice the same tho x
Wow. This is a hell of a short story. Heartbreaking and brutal, all wrapped up in these 19 pages. Kyle isn't doing well. His world is collapsing around him, and he doesn't want to live anymore. Then the mice came. Hupp is a fantastic storyteller and this is one not to be missed. Check it out!
I really really really wanted this to be longer I want more mice madness. Not only was it gory but it was also very emotional you felt so so sorry for the main character and the ending wwoowww right in the feels
