Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4.5)
Trope: captive
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely loved it! If you're a fan of over the top heroes, Liam is definitely the guy for you too :) Liam has it all: a great storyline, lots of action, and a good little twist. I always enjoy unusual pairings and a grumpy mobster with a goth/emo hacker girl definitely checked that box. The verbal sparring between the two of them fantastic and I loved how Imogen likes to push his buttons. She completely fascinates Liam, who is used to women fawning over him. You know he's got that extra something when Imogen's dressing down of him is what hooks him into believing he wants to keep her - whether she wants it or not, lol 🤷🏻‍♀️. Super fast paced with great smexy times. Just an all around great read and definitely my favorite of the series so far.

Liam is the second book in the Dublin Kings series by LK Shaw and can be read as a standalone, but best enjoyed when read in series order. The story is told in first person, from dual perspective.

⛔️ My bookshelves can sometimes be spoilers

Liam is one of those morally grey heroes that you love to hate. He always gets what he wants and he wants Imogene. He’s a criminal dead set on taking over Dublin.

It had just been Liam and Imogen. The Liam I could have been in a different life.

Imogene is a computer genius and a hacker. She’s a spitfire who takes no crap.

“Thanks for showing me the fairy forest. It was beautiful and I’ll never forget it.” Or you.

I fell in love with this author not long ago when I read the prequel to this story. She hasn’t disappointed me yet as a mater of fact it’s getting better.

Strong characters that are a little rough around the edges. A great storyline that keeps you on pins and needles. Shocking revelations and sexy alphas you really want to smack then fall in love with.

I've been waiting for this book!!! It was everything I was hoping it would be.

I felt like this book moved more with the romance then it did with the plot. I loved Liam and Imogen together. Even though the beginning of the relationship is a bit rocky, cause of the whole him kidnapping her, I liked the way it developed. There was an instant attraction between them. They acted on that attraction a couple of times and because of the time spent together their feelings started developing more. We get to see them start trusting and opening up to one another.

Plot wise I did like it it just felt like there's something missing. The entire book was about Liam doing something specific and bc of his relationship with Imogen it kinda blew his plans out the window. At the end of the book I was left a bit unsatisfied just bc I would have liked to know what happens now between Liam and his enemies. Are his plans gonna stay the same? Are they gonna work together?

Overall I really love this authors writing and ill definitely recommend it to anyone.

LIAM by L.K. Shaw is book Two in the Dublin Kings Series. This is the story of Imogen and Liam. This book does interconnect with the first book 'Cian'. So, it does add to the enjoyment of this book if you have read that one. Liam has had a hard life but is now a mafia boss with plans of being the Dublin King. Liam goes off has harsh and mean but he hasn't really know much else. But, when he sees Imogen he starts to feels something else and becoming obsessed with more than just being the King. Imogen is a hacker who is a strong women and doesn't take Liam's commands. But, deep down she is very drawn to him. Loved this book and this series is so good!!

Liam is one of those characters that you just love to hate, He wants to become the next Dublin King. Imogene is a computer hacker/genius and someone that doesn't take crap from anyone. The chemistry that these two have is unmatched. I was glued to the book from the start. I have only read one other book from this author, I'm now going to go and look into the other books that she has written. I can't wait to see what else happens in this series. I need to get the first one and know what happened in Cain.

Terrific next chapter in the Donnelly and Sheehan Mafia families and abducted Imogen

Imogen is very much a working by herself individual and she is a “Hacker” of the highest calibre able in some cases to write her own cheques for some of the more complex jobs she undertakes. However she always tries to ensure that the people she wors for are not hurting via trafficking females, guns or drugs she mostly sells information and wipes video and camera feeds for individuals.

Until the fateful day she had been in her favourite tea shop with her usual order and a man she had never seen approached her and sat at her table and had spoken to her and told her that he would be seeing her very soon! Within no time at all and after finding out that he was Liam Campbell one of the top names in Dublin and presently taking over his fathers holdings, home and army in readiness to attack and takeover Carrick Donnelly who is currently holding most of Dublin.

Suddenly taken hostage on the street and taken to the home of Liam she discovers that he has been trying to find out who and what she does for a living as well as trying to break into her heavily security home, he has however failed up to now.

She tells him quite honestly that she is and how she earns a living without giving up the details of clients or actual jobs as this could easily cost her life as the people she works for are Mafia and other important associates so she simply bides her time and waits for a possible escape.

I guarantee that you will love every moment of this book and will be looking forward to the next book in the series….

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

TLDR: My Ratings:
Star Rating = 4 ⭐️‘s:
I liked it & will recommend it.
Heat Level = 🥵 Hot
Recommended for: People who dig the forced proximity trope, especially in a mafia captive setting. Folks who like their stories with obsessive, OTT heroes who make you want to slap then hug them. As well as anyone who read Liam and wants more, and/or people who just love great banter and explosive plot twists.

Dang, I love LK Shaw’s stories! We got a few tastes of Liam & Imogen with the teaser [Liam] in the Dangerous As Sin anthology and in the first Dublin Kings book, Cian, earlier this year. Now we finally have the whole story, and what a story it is. Pssst… there are some massive bombshells in this baby!

Featuring Imogen, the strong-willed spitfire who’s unapologetically herself paired up against the sharp-edged obsessive determination of Liam. She easily, if unwittingly, throws a wrench into his plans to end the Donnelly’s reign and become the new King of Dublin. Then things get really complicated. No, like REALLY, really complicated. 🤫🤐😉

As usual, LK Shaw’s character building is on point. So you care about them through the good, the bad and the ugly. I’m always impressed by the layers that make up her characters.

Liam is book two in the Dublin Kings series and while it can be read as a standalone, in this case, I recommend reading Cian (book 1) first. The added context of that book and the parallel timelines provide the best reading experience.

I’m looking forward to book 3, Aiden’s story.

As always, these are my honest opinions and YMMV.

My Rating Scale:
5 ⭐️:
A favorite, highly recommend & will definitely re-read
4 ⭐️: I really liked it & will recommend it
3 ⭐️: I enjoyed it & might recommend it
2 ⭐️: Meh, I didn't love it & probably wouldn't recommend
1 ⭐️: Not for me, wouldn't recommend

Heat Level:
🤯 What did I just read?:
Uncategorized, because… what did I just read?
☕️ Warm: Sweet ‘greeting-card company’ level romance kind of book.
🥵 Hot: Unabashedly & deliciously smexy, spicy, dirty, and/or kinky kind of book.
🔥 Scorching: Find a private spot to read this book. 😉

Imogen, the female lead, has been quietly stalking the Donnelly family (including Cian - the first story’s male lead) because of a secret her mother revealed on her deathbed. When she inadvertently catches Liam’s attention, she’s mortified because the Donnelly family are Liam’s enemies.

Liam, the male lead, is shocked when Imogen is rude to him when they bump in the street but curious, because so few people are rude to him. He initiates her kidnapping but she’s not about to cooperate.

This story is dual POV, well written, and a great addition to this contemporary romance Irish mafia series. This is an extended edition of a story in an anthology that I have not read. Liam and Imogen as individual characters and as a couple caught my attention in the first story in the series, Cian, and I had been (impatiently) waiting for this story! It did not disappoint! I enjoyed Imogen’s personality and temperament and her willingness to push back and challenge Liam. I enjoyed Liam’s dismay at his ongoing attraction to her, contrary to his desire to remain isolated and in control. I empathised with his history and why he’d become the adult he was, as well as enjoying that he allowed his relationship with Imogen to mellow him. I enjoyed their relationship development and their intimate erotic scenes. I enjoyed the continuation of the background plot and the intricacies that Imogen’s secret brought to the story. I enjoyed the highly integrated secondary characters and look forward to the next story. Whilst the story stands alone, it will be enhanced by reading Cian first.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Kindle Unlimited: Yes
Stand-alone: Yes
Author: L.K. Shaw
Rating: 4/5 ⭐️
Spiciness Rating: 3/5 🌶
POV: First Person Dual Perspective
Main Couple: Liam and Imogen
Trope(s): Opposites Attract, Anti-Hero, Age-Gap, Mafia, Suspense

Liam was first released as a novella in the Dangerous As Sin Anthology. L.K. has now released it as a completed book in the Dublin Kings Interconnected Standalone Series. We are introduced to Imogen and Liam. So, if you read the story in the Anthology you can skip ahead to Chapter 12 or reacquaint yourself with Imogen and Liam, your call. This book was an easy read, low on angst, with a tinge of dark to it, and insta-lust on both parts, but Imogen makes Liam sweat just a bit. Overall, an interesting and suspenseful read. It did take me a beat to connect with Liam, but as the story unfolded and I understood his motives clearer, I became more patient with him. It will be interesting to see where L.K. takes the next books.

Imogen Walsh is twenty-seven, a hacker by trade and is still struggling from the loss of her mother.

Liam Campbell is thirty-seven, stepson of Dónal Sheehan, and has spent the last few years amassing his own powerful organization.

After a brief run in with Imogen, Liam has become obsessed. She realizes very quickly that this is a game to Liam. She also knows if she plays it well enough, he will get bored, and let her go back to her life.

However, their lives become even more entangled, as do their feelings. And, when Imogen’s life is turned completely upside down with the revelation of a major truth bomb, the effects will be felt by many.

Liam is the second book set within the Dublin Kings series. A shortened version of this story was previously released. Liam has had his eye on Imogen and now he’s determined that she will be his. Kidnapped, Imogen tries to make the best of the situation, but as Liam works on gaining power, will Imogen’s secret destroy everything, or can they find peace and a future?

Oh wow, there is a lot packed into this book! All sort of emotions, sizzling connections, and there’s enough tension both within and outside of their relationship that I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this book. I giggled at times, cried a bit, and definitely swooned as this big, tough, bad guy slowly fell for his captive. Liam and Imogen have some amazing chemistry right from the very beginning, and I adored their power dynamics. Imogen is spirited and even when she’s scared, she doesn’t back down. I liked her fire, her resourcefulness, and the way she works things to be in her control. Liam is arrogant, cares for no one yet is intrigued by Imogen, and always gets what he wants. Their chemistry was like dynamite that was lit, full of suspense, waiting to explode. And because it wasn’t just their connection that held so much tension, all of the outside forces and events had me just as curious and excited to keep reading. I don’t want to give anything away, but dang! So good! From beginning to end, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next and I felt like I simply devoured this book.

Liam Campbell is an up and coming gangster who wants to be the King of Dublin but to do so he’ll have to unseat the reigning king Carrick Donnelly & his sons who aren’t going to go willingly. At the same time he’s scheming his takeover, he’s obsessing about hacker Imogen Walsh, a young woman he met when they bumped into each other in the street and the future King is not afraid to take what or who he wants.

This was a fast paced darkish Mafia romance with a well suited anti-hero and an irreverent goth heroine, equally steamy and angsty in places as Liam grabs Imogen off the street until she submits to him. I loved the characters who were well rounded and my heart broke for Liam. He came across as being cruel and heartless with no redeeming qualities whatsoever but below the surface was someone damaged by a childhood filled with pain and abuse. This had left him afraid of letting anyone close to him as feeling led to weakness in his eyes. Imogen was probably the first person to openly defy the man he’d became and this led to some wicked banter between the pair making for great development of their relationship with lots of steamy moments. After the recent death of her mother, loner Imogen has been looking for somewhere to belong, the last thing she expected was to fall for her kidnapper but a secret from beyond the grave could destroy any chance of a happily ever after for this pair

Liam is an absolute adrenaline rush that I can confidently give a solid four-star rating. This book took me on a personal rollercoaster ride of emotions, leaving me breathless and utterly captivated. From the very first page, I was completely engrossed in the intense and suspenseful storyline that had my heart racing.

What struck me most aboutthis book was the author's ability to create characters that felt so real and relatable. I found myself emotionally invested in Liam and Emily's journey, rooting for their love to conquer the obstacles in their path. Their chemistry was off the charts, and the way their relationship unfolded amidst the danger and secrets kept me on the edge of my seat.

L.K. Shaw's writing style is nothing short of addictive. The fast-paced narrative, combined with skillfully crafted twists and turns, had me eagerly turning the pages, desperate to uncover the truth. The way Shaw seamlessly blended romance and suspense was remarkable, striking the perfect balance between heart-pounding action and heartwarming moments.

In conclusion, Liam is a personal and gripping romantic suspense novel that will leave you craving more. L.K. Shaw has created a world filled with danger, passion, and unforgettable characters that will stay with me long after finishing the book. If you're a fan of intense romance mixed with edge-of-your-seat suspense, Liam is a must-read that will leave you hooked from beginning to end.

I was right! This full-length book was amazing! I was lucky enough to review the part of this book that was in an anthology in February, and I couldn't get enough. I needed more Liam, and boy did LK deliver. I was hooked from the very start and did not want to put it down.

Liam and Imogen's story was full of everything I wanted and more. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their banter was absolutely perfect, and their journey to happiness was everything I'd hoped it would be. Liam is a man who has had a hard start in life and has put up walls around his heart to make sure he never gets hurt. Imogen has recently lost someone very important and has retreated into herself. A chance run in changes their lives forever, and we get to watch it all unfold. Add in the craziness of family, and we get to go on one hell of a ride. I especially love the little twists and turns that kept me at the edge of my seat.

At one point for each of these main, I wanted to reach into the pages and just give them a gigantic hug and not let them go. LK's words pulled at my heartstrings, and I shed many a tear. I felt their pain and sorrow, their disappointments, their love, and their hope. I felt it ALL.

I can't say it enough, I LOVED THIS BOOK! 5⭐️'s for sure! I can't wait to see where Aidan's journey takes us next.

The first time Liam encounters Imogen, he becomes obsessed with her. Liam is the ultimate alpha male, cocky and self-assured. What he wants, he gets, and he wants Imogen. He has to have her…and he almost does until she slips out of his grasp. There’s a spark between them, an electricity that can’t be denied. Liam has just become head of an Irish mob faction, and it seems Imogen might be caught in between the two most powerful mobsters in Dublin. Imogen is smart, and if things go her way, Liam won’t get to have her at all…unless it’s on her own terms.

I love this story. The characters are amazing, and the world building is excellent. It’s a great second book in the Knights of Dublin series. The chemistry between Liam and Imogen is sizzling. Shaw has woven an intricate story which has mob factions overlapping and characters caught in between. If I had to pick one element that stands out in this book, it’s the characters. They reflect deep emotions and have to figure out how to coexist in an often violent world. Shawn’s creation of the characters is excellent.

The first book in the Dublin Knights series is avian, and some events in that book overlap in Liam. Liam can be read as a standalone, but you’ll have a deeper reading experience if you read Cain first. You’ll enjoy both books as well. So read and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!

While reading book one in the Dublin Kings series Cian.
Liam absolutely piqued my interest.
I had a feeling there was more to him than his outer hard exterior.
Liam is rough and hard. He knows nothing else but being ruthless and calculating.
Brought up in a harsh environment and world. And he has his mind set on being the Dublin King.
How else can he be. Put there is much more to him than meets the eye.
Imogen is also a fascinating character. She’s strong and gives as good as she gets.
She’s a fighter through and through.
Liam is enthralled with her. So much so he takes her.
I loved their love/hate relationship. She doesn’t make anything easy for him, so good for her.
Even with all that she is drawn to him.
But I could most definitely feel their chemistry. It’s intense and hot.
As things evolve with them I got to see a difference with Liam.
His tragic past as shaped the man he’s become. But with Imogen another change is also taking place.
The book had me hooked from the start. It was a definite page turner.
A perfect blend of suspense, drama, mystery and steam and spice.
And secrets waiting to come to light and was reading with delight and excitement.
I’m enjoying this series and can’t wait to get more.

OMG THIS BOOK!! I’m obsessed!!! I’m a sucker for a mafia trope, but Liam?! Ahhhh I need more!!! This man literally stalks her and kidnaps her because he’s obsessed. Now, we never find out why he’s obsessed, just that he is, and that’s all I need to know! I want my own Liam!! This book literally left me speechless. These two went through literally hell and back to get their HEA. I’m obsessed and I need more. Like so much more of Liam and Imogen.

Basically she’s a hacker and has been keeping tabs on people of her own to try to uncover a secret that her mom kept from her. He’s a mafia man who’s branching out to take over Dublin. He’s obsessed and stalking her until one day he just takes her. Obviously being a clever woman, Imogen attempts to just give in so Liam will get over his obsession faster. However, as she’s giving in, she’s falling for him and him for her. The push and pull from these two in the beginning is pure gold. I love that they’re both poetically honest with each other and that helps their relationship grow.

Y’all are gonna wanna snag this book if you like mafia books. Liam is not one to be missed and now I can’t wait to go back and read about the other members in this mafia filled world!

I read the beginning of Liam in an anthology a bit ago, and I am so glad that I get the rest of the story now. This runs about the same time as Cian is staged, so you should also read that story if you haven't already.

Imogen is a strong, sassy character. She is a hacker and is having a bit of a breakdown as her mother has just died and gave her a deathbed confession, which upends her world. She is trying to do normal but into her life walks Liam and that man well, he turns it all upside down. He has decided that he wants her because she is different and doesn't react the way he expects, and that is intriguing.

He has led a difficult life but that has led him to wanting to be the most powerful man in Dublin and that is how everything falls into each other with Imogen, Liam and the Donnellys as well as Nora.

It's a great story and it is steamy . There is a strong attraction between Liam and Imogen, and it only grows as they both find their true selves with each other. Secrets come out, and it is only going to make this series stronger.

Interested in who the antagonist will be in the next book, exciting.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What's a mafia book without a little kidnapping to bring our main characters together?

I'd been interested in Liam and Imogen's story since reading Cian, and they did not disappoint! Imogen is a total badass and her attitude toward Liam intrigues him to the point of obsession. I was constantly just as amused as he was by her actions and loved her thought process for everything. It was also fun to see her impact on Liam's character throughout the book.

In all honesty, I hated Liam at first. He was so emotionless and for as much chemistry as he had with Imogen, it lacked passion. I loved their banter but I didn't care about him enough to care about their relationship. He was an asshole who only cared about revenge and his own goals, but I hoped from his previous interactions with his step-sister, Nessa, in the first Dublin Kings book that there was more to him underneath that tough exterior. As soon as he started showing vulnerability, I began to warm up to him. It was small things at first: his love for cooking, a garden, a few genuine smiles... And then I kept reading and would find myself giggling and kicking my feet at certain scenes. It took a while, but Liam was worth getting to know.

Now I just need Declan to get a book :)

This is book 2 in the Dublin kings series. I read 1st 11 chapters in an anthology and I have been waiting for the full book since it stopped on the cliff hanger.
I am now glad we got Cian's story 1st as a lot of the things made much more sense.
Liam is ruthless and will do anything to aquire what he wants. Right now he wants to be the main leader in Dublin over the Connollys. If you read Cian's book you will remember him as Nessa's brother. He also has a slight obsession with a punk goth hacker.
Liam is the way he is because of his early experience. Which is heartbreaking.

Imogen was a firecracker and I loved her character. She was so intelligent and witty. Well once she was captured by Liam instead of fearing him she stood upto him. That shook Liam as he has never had anyone go against his wishes. I loved their banter and sizzling chemistry.
They are so opposite in every way but yet somehow are perfect for the other.

There are secrets that are threatening to ruin what they can have. Can love win in all aspects of war?
This was fast paced, easy to read with suspense, secrets, kidnapping, found family, chemistry, angst, emotional, love and steam.

'' If there’s a smallest chance she could make you happy, you should take it''
Will he choose happiness or success?

Irish Mafia, passion, steam, revelations
Loved the story, loved the over-the-top alpha male in 37yo Liam, loved the feisty female character in 27yo Imogen, loved the kidnapping premise. Easily more than a five-star winner. I read and reviewed the Liam story in the “Dangerous as Sin Anthology” where the abbreviated story was originally published. In this expanded version we get the rest of the story. I enjoyed every minute of it. If you like mafia guys with heart even if often surly, falling in love despite their otherwise intentions, you will want to read this wonderful book.
Liam learns how to trust…some, or maybe more and Imogen learns to love while discovering a very big secret. If you read the first book in this series, “Cian” you will appreciate that the events in “Liam” are happening concurrently with it. Makes it even more intriguing. When you find out why Liam hates Dónal, you will be furious too. We are introduced or reintroduced to characters who I hope we learn more about in future books. I know the next one is about Aidan which has already been preordered. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book.

Liam Campbell is taking over the Mafia holdings of his stepfather Donal Sheehan, by hostile takeover. He has what is needed after Donal lost everything through gambling debts, giving him much leverage...Liam is also poised to take over more from the reigning Irish Mafia family, the Donnelly's, through strategic investments in shipping companies, which would put a squeeze on Carrick Donnelly's illegal arms shipments...in the meantime, he was intrigued by a woman he met who literally ran into him and wouldn't give him the time of day...Imogen Walsh. Imogen is a computer genius, who runs a successful computer consulting business, but her real job is being a premier computer hacker, who has dabbled in the dark web to pick up some more questionable clients...including Carrick's US-based cousin, Paddy...so when Liam can't find anything about the intriguing woman, he kidnaps her. This is the story of the two enemies learning to trust, which neither gives easily...he likes her spunky, challenging nature and she finds him dangerous, heartless and sexy...but you will need to read this story to see what happens...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

I couldn’t wait to read Liam’s story. After seeing him in Cian as Nessa’s stepbrother I was anxious to get to know him more. He came across as hard, cruel, heartless at times and someone with a lot of darkness inside. But you could also see there was something else beneath his layers, especially in book 1 when it came to Nessa, and even more so with Imogen. And boy was there. Liam is out to be King, he wants to rule Dublin and he wants Imogen. He’s obsessed with her. She’s got fight, and doesn’t cower- even to Liam which is what attracted him to her. She’s different from the other women he’s been with. So what’s a guy to do when he wants his girl- he kidnaps her! These two have a love/hate thing going on for awhile, but the spice between them is explosive! Liam is so damn hot. This book was really good, had just the right amount of sexy scenes, unexpected secrets and reveals, and some romantic moments thrown in! I can’t wait for Aidan’s story next. So far this series is really great and a must read!

Another great read that I couldn’t put down! I was intrigued by Liam and Imogen in the teaser glimpse of the couple in the Dangerous as Sin Anthology. The full book was definitely worth the wait. I enjoyed watching the sparks fly between the two, along with the snarky banter. Imogen could definitely hold her own against Liam. Both were alike in a lot of ways and I loved seeing her give as good as she got. The story was well-written with great characters and carried an intensity throughout the read that kept me turning pages. Learning about Liam’s tragic past definitely gave a better insight into the man he became as well as his need and determination to become the Dublin King. I enjoyed how Imogen’s past was intertwined in a way that caused serious thought and reflection of actions by some of the characters, including Imogen and Liam. I loved how it all wound together in the end. This book was Intense, suspenseful, and wrought with fiery chemistry, twists and turns, drama, a bit of angst, and hot, hot, hot!

Have you ever picked up a series that grabbed your attention and captivated you in a way that none has in a very long time ? That had you glued to the edge of your seat anticipating what would happen from one moment to the next ? That broke your heart and just blew you away in all the best ways ? Well L.K Shawn’s Dublin Kings Series has done all of the above and so much more . Liam was so much more then I ever could have asked for and everything I never knew I needed . Liam And Imogen. There really aren’t any perfect words to express all the reasons I fell in love with both characters. Except to say that they really are incredible together and the chemistry between them is off the charts hot . Age Gap 💜Irish Mafia 🖤Possessive Alpha 💜Strong Heroine 🖤Obsesses 💜Captive . If your a fan of any of the above tropes this is the perfect book for you. It’s a emotional rollercoaster with the most wonderfully written characters that’s guaranteed to keep you up reading well into the early morning hours . But then again every book by L.K Shaw. Is guaranteed to do that

Wow, just wow, LK scored a perfect chronicle of fate, revenge, and love!
LK pulls you right in to Liam necessitating the kidnapping of Imogen after their chance encounter that intrigued him and women never intrigue him. I feel for Imogen as she deals with the revelation her mom told her on her death bed. When the two are together, the magnetism between the two is unwavering. Yet despite the promise of more fantasies coming to life for Imogen after Liam’s meeting, Imogen takes her chance to escape. Where she goes is all about her past and the truth revealed has her floundering. Yet as Liam starts his plan to take control of Ireland after setting this goal years prior by the hands of his stepdad, he struggles with Imogen never far from his thoughts. As their worlds collide will the two find a way out that sees them staying together? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to put the book down until you turn the last page!

I have been so excited for Liam’s book since I read Cian, and this story was everything I’d hoped it would be! Liam is a bit of a tortured soul to me, with a rough and broken past, and he’s determined to be the most powerful man in Dublin to make up for it. Imogen is a woman that he happened to literally run into on the street, and her snark and attitude instantly intrigue him. He sees her as a challenge, and like a true mafia man who always gets what he wants he kidnaps her! Then the fun really begins. So many secrets are uncovered in this story, and things going forward will not be the same. Imogen is such a perfect match for Liam, and it’s amazing to see his transformation throughout this story. This was definitely a story of self-discovery, forgiveness and redemption. It’s full of emotion, angst and of course steamy times! A great mafia read that I definitely recommend!
