After a tumultuous visit with the director, Mel heads home to Lynn, haunted by memories and the guilt they stir up. Will Mel let her regrets about what she did to Sue distract her from the woman she’s with now? Or can Lynn help the heart surgeon work through her complicated past…and maybe blow off some steam in the process?

I absolutely hate the character Sue, she is a good antagonist, but clearly cannot let go of the past. And is using her power as the hospital’s director to her advantage - to punish Mel! Ugh, I detest her!
This book ended on such a cliffhanger, I am shaking. Going to read the next volume ASAP! {I can’t believe I wrote that with such excitement, and it’s now taken me over a year to finally plan to read volume 6 - for Pride Month lol}
Fantastic! Everything you want in a mature sapphic love story. W|W / Yuri - whatever you want to call it. The art is beautiful and a good story with drama, suspense and even little cutesy moments. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a NSFW graphic love story.
This is a great manga, although it is award-winning and widely popular enough that I don’t need to tell you that. As a complete package I think this series deserves 5-stars. A delightful grumpy X sunshine situation, that strikes a good balance between being realistic and convoluted. There is some great foreshadowing. Some of the characters are a lot of fun, including the side characters.
I like the art, and the artist does a good job of using it to portray emotions and action.
The protagonists are absolutely adorable together and I genuinely wish for their happiness. They are both so wonderful, especially Lynn who is one of the sweetest little cinnamon buns.
The early volumes are very lighthearted and fun (mostly) and I really enjoyed them. By this point, the plotline is starting to get into the second half which has a lot more conflict.
I want horrible things to happen to the antagonist. Truly, horrible, unspeakable things.
The first half of the book is really heavy on the sex with some character development. The second half is where this volume shines. Renny has some great moments and interactions in this volume and Mel and Lynn continue to deepen their relationship. We learn more about Mel's past and that comes back to haunt her in the wild cliffhanger.
I love this series, another 5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ for this. This whole series reads like a sapphic Grey’s Anatomy (tv show) with a little less drama and more wholesome/fun moments, along with a decent amount of spicy times. I’m dying to know how things play out going into the next book.
