This one hurt too, to give it a 2 star I didn’t do that easily. Sam’s jealousy was sooo out of place, please don’t get me wrong I love a jealous and protective guy, I love for those types of romance (not lately because of this series) but this was not Sam’s personality at all! His attitude here should have been during Hostage Walk. He showed more emotion here, without staying to watch the whole scene, than he did while Lacy was kidnapped!!! I was sooooo close to making this a one star, but I love this series (minus a few) so I couldn’t bring myself to give it one. On to the next!
What a case this was for Sam and Lacey. First, they had to travel to New York, then deal with a celebrity and discover that celebrity had the wrong idea about what Sam does. This case also tested Sam and Lacey’s relationship in a way that had never happened before. I really enjoyed this book. It has been so good to see this blended family evolve.
Another fast moving ghostly release. I love all of the “Walk” books by Melissa Bowersox. The problems they have while releasing the ghosts are so unique. I hope there are more in the future. I live in a rural area of PA, a walk of some kind in south central York Co would be wonderful!
A good book is one that holds the readers attention and makes you fell apart of the story! If you enjoy a great mystery you need to read this one . I really enjoy Lacey Fitzpatrick and Sam Firecloud Mysteries!
This one was just ok for me. I honestly don't even remember how it ended. The summary suggests that Lacey is infatuated with their famous client however it was merely a brief awkward mention that she seemed charmed by him. Sam doesn't do jealousy well so it seemed more of a forced storyline.
Not as great a read, but still decent. Like the characters and their situations. Freeing "ghosts" to move on to whatever is next, is a great idea. Hope there will be more. This is number 38!
