Siren: May the streets be in your favor.

"I want you, but not for me. I want you back on the streets, where you were, right before I helped you!"

My breath came out in huffs as I looked at him. This was not the person that I knew, and even that version was disastrous. This was an insane person.

The streets were in no one's favor and Andrea Brandy was aware of that. Yet, she didn't think she would get caught and thrown into the compound of her street lord first thing on an unsuccessful morning.

She didn't also think she would begin enjoying all of his services.

However, her life began to take some positive turns when she finally got a hang of it and she ran from him - stealing some of his money - landing herself in a famous club called Vixen.

Life went on, and she thought it was over but she didn't know that the drama had just started.

Cause on the night, she danced seductively on the pole, on the birthday of a successive handsome killer, things changed for her.

And shit occurred.

I thought Anna S. Watson did an amazing job with her first published book Siren. The plot was riveting and had lots action. It was a fast paced entertaining book that kept me focused throughout the entire story. There was so much depth and layers within the pages that made it a book worth reading.

Andrea had a rough start in life. She lived on the streets and did what she had to in order to survive. Andrea got caught breaking the law and the people decided to let Kiven the Street Lord decide her punishment. He takes Andrea in and gives her a life she has never known. He treats her like a queen because his feelings for her run deep. Yet, she longs for freedom and to have a new beginning in life. Andrea makes her escape and creates a new life - one that she loves. But, will her past come looking for her?

Micah's life has been nothing, but a nightmare. His parents were horrible people and did not protect him. He has spent years paying for a crime he didn't commit. Now that he is free Micah will need to dig deep if he wants to rise up from the ashes and begin his life anew.

Andrea and Micah's lives cross paths at the right moment. The past she left behind has caught up with her and demands retribution. This is going to change peoples lives in a huge way and it will not be pretty. These two will need to work together if they want a chance to successfully defeat evil.

I received an ARC for this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Siren, a romance novel that involves a dangerous man and a woman.

Plot: The plot was slightly predictable in a way however it was engaging and fun to read.

Cliffhangers: I didn't feel the book had those cliffhangers that had me wondering about what could actually be happening.

Spice: It had spice in it and it was gooooood

Details: The author did a great job describing everything, the scenery, the people and even the emotions the characters were feeling. I personally loved the Gang leader.

Emotions: ...Well, this part didn't make me feel much? I struggled to connect with the FMC and i didn't really tear up.

However, a nicely written novel and a lovely read <3

I couldn't get into this book at all. The grammar was totally outrageous and should have been edited. I couldn't relate to the characters, neither the innocents or the villains, and I completely disliked the man who put the girl back on the streets. Before reading this book, I was told it was a clean read, but I wouldn't allow any of my kids to read this book. I gave this book 3 stars because I don't like rating books with lesser stars, but I doubt that I'll read any other books by this author, if they are like this one.

I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary honest review.

This is a dark and intriguing story with strong characters centering on Andrea a.k.a. Siren. The author does a great job developing her story and painting her scenes perfectly. She brings an action packed story filled with suspense, drama and survival. It's well written, moves fluidly and is an interesting storyline.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

With a convoluted group of dysfunctional characters for for the good and those evil we are taken on a real roller coaster ride. You do have to get through all the grammar and syntax errors to get at the meat of the theme. This book needed beta readers prior to publication. I did have a bit of a difficult time getting to empathize with the main characters. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
