Evelyn Dains has loved her best friend Lana Cruz for as long as she can remember and is excited for their affair to finally be made public…only to face a near-fatal attempt on her life.

Someone wants Evelyn dead.

Not everyone in their lives is happy for them.

In this gripping and much darker sequel, someone has a motive for murder and trying to catch the culprit responsible is on everyone’s agenda.

But the trail runs cold and as times goes on, the would-be murderer seems like they’re going to get away with their crime…or worse—they might try again.

Both women will find out if their love will be enough, or if tragedy will tear them apart.

**'Always let your continuous interest in telling stories still be interesting, have a little dangerous mystique and even be intriguing to readers etc. etc. etc...'

Compelling read!
It's worth me waiting a few years in between having read book #1 because i love love and really enjoyed it from the first page to the last sentence. Having such disciplinary skill into still being able to continue on her (Michelle Woods) path in telling such a well written book #2 -- and even showed her patience while also being indepth: great chemistry, very good dialogue, nice secondary characters etc. etc. etc..
A highly recommended book #2 and series!
