I'm wondering what happened to the little Chihuahua dog. Who keeps him when everyone is gone & I thought Killer was his friend? Also, whatever happened to the Pham Penh trip? Curious minds would like to know. I was really looking forward to this book, since I've visited New Mexico as a child. I didn't enjoy this one as much. It seemed like the story ended so abruptly. However, these stories are always set up so nicely.

I loved this book. I understood the characters , their tie to the hostess, and the art dealer. The party was an excellent idea to get people together. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a mystery. I would change nothing.
I had never read this author before and was thoroughly engrossed in the characters and plot development which I felt were excellent. In all honesty, though, I was disappointed in the ending.
There was a lot of information and background leading up to the dinner part of the story. It was very cut and dried so I was a bit disappointed not to get to figure out who the killer was.
