VT transported me back to the action packed lands of Mai’Cus with the Warrior Elites while they take down the evil ISC and I am here for it all. I devoured this in one sitting with only one regret and that was reaching the end.
Tamara has been trapped in the claws of the ISC for years. This young omega’s strength, determination, bravery and love is inspiring after all the pain and torture she has endured. I love her spirit and fight so much.
Ru’en is lethal assassin with an icy twist. His personality is one that caught my attention early on in this series because he is colder (no pun intended) than his other teammates. But even with his brutish “my way or the highway” nature, when it comes to his mate he will do any and everything for her. I adored seeing his walls be brought down by Tamara.
VT’s talents know no bounds as she proves that fire and ice can make one helluva excellent combination. This has so much action and suspense with just the right amount of heart and steam. I love how this talented queen continues to build this amazing series with unique and unforgettable characters, seamlessly continuing on taking down the ISC but each book is its own. VT won my heart all over again with this and I can’t wait to see who finds their mate next.

Captured by the ISC, Ru’en and his team rescue Tamara an Omega with special pyro abilities
Ru’en and his group of Alpha’s all have special abilities which allows them to work along side humans who are trying to find the secret locations where the ISC hold prisoners carrying out horrific medical experiments.
Tamara and her whole family were captured and taken into the ISC facility where she has been responsible for treating each of them to the horrendous experiments and because of said experiments she has already gone through physical change that allows her to actually raise her body temperature and create fire and flames from her body.
When Ru’en first reaches the facility holding the captured humans he is aware that there is a chance that there may be Omega’s that could actually be life mates for members of his team, unfortunately he never anticipated that the female being questioned by Commander Bracken was in fact his Life Mate, but with all that Tamara has been through she will do anything to care for her family.
When Ru’en and his team are able to rescue those being held as test subjects they then take them to their hidden base where they are treated and as much recouperation as possible is given to each of her remaining family members.
As Ru’en an ice monster and Tamara a young woman that is able to burn anything any anyone to a cinder
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Ru'en had utterly ruined me!
I have loved this ice giant from the very moment I met him. I KNEW he would be worth the wait, and I was right!! Holy Moly! Bonds has killed this one and created an alpha unlike any other. Everything about him is what an alpha should be. Every word out of his mouth will have you squealing and saying yes to whatever he demands.
This ice giant has a hardened heart and is prepared for war but when he meets this little omega, it is beautiful how quickly he starts to thaw. Not only is he a warrior unlike any other, but he is so dark and mean to her to hide his feeling towards Tamara. It is dark romance perfection.
His alpha instincts tell him she is his lifemate but he is fighting it (while protecting her) at every turn. He is a "no one can hurt her but me" kind of alpha and I am here for it.
When you have an alpha like this, written to perfection, you need an equally matched omega to pair with him. You can't have a weak omega. You need an equally fierce, stubborn, and break bad lifemate... And that brings us to Tamara. HOLY SMOKES!!! I have NEVER seen an omega like this before. Her powers are so cool! My PNR/Sci/fi/fantasy heart beats so hard for this girl. I can't even tell you how much I loved her. Her powers were so amazing these two together?? Pure Magic!!
I mean the balance of light and dark. The balance of ice and fire. It could not have been written any better. This couple is one of, if not my top fave couple in this series. LOVE IT!

Hot and cold...fire and ice...what a wonderful surprise this book was. I thoroughly enjoyed the power play in this book between Tamara and Ru'en. My initial thought/opinion of Tamara was, what is she doing? But once it was revealed about her situation, I felt like I would totally be doing what she was for the ones she loved. The ISC will use everything against you to get what they want. Ru'en, Ru'en, Ru'en...I had mixed feelings about him but damn, he really showed his true colors and it just totally melted my heart as well.
Narration: Tor Thom did such a wonderful job at bringing Ru'en's alph-holeness to life that it was what made me had mixed feelings about this character, period. I was totally onboard with Tamara and her feelings towards him. But damn, when you get to the sexy parts...dead...just dead. Vivienne LaRue also did an amazing job with Tamara. She brought her hope, fears, desires, and fire to life. The audio was smooth, no issues in general from what I can tell, very professionally done.
As noted above, I really enjoyed this one. It highlights the abilities we are starting to see from the FMC in this series, but I really like the power/ability introduction of the MMC as well. He's an interesting alien and I wonder if it's specific to him or his species overall. Great addition to the series but it does bring more questions into what the ISC is up to again. They seem to always be a step ahead even when it looks like they are struggling to maintain a hold on things. Definitely, can not wait to see what the author has in store for us next!

Well, what another fantastic story in this Omegaverse series. All I can say is they keep getting better and better.
Ru’en is 100 percent alpha with a special monster gift while Tamara is just another abused Omega that the ICS has captured, tortured and abused for years. However, she also has powers of her own and when you put Ru’en the two together, they will become unstoppable.
When Ru’en mission leads him to Tamara, he senses her immediately as his lifemate. The only problem is, she is his prisoner.
I really love this series and every new character this author brings in. I smile at the fact also that each character in their own way helps the Elite Warriors become stronger and their family bigger. That is wonderful because I’m hoping when the last book in this series is written the ICS will be bye bye and in a bad way.
I’m so looking forward to the next book and characters is this one heck of a ride Omegaverse series.

dark and sweet and full of surprises
I really don’t know how V.T. Bonds has managed to keep this series so interesting after so many books! Her writing is truly an art form and these universes and species and storylines are nothing short of magnificent. Each story adds another layer of despicable, cruel, incomprehensible horrors perpetuated against dynamics by the ISC. There really is no rhyme or reason because the cruelty is the point. Tamara is a pawn for the ISC forced to hurt her family in order to protect them. Ru’en is an ice giant turned rescuer who saves and interrogates Tamara. They each have their orders and their plans, but nothing ever goes according to plan. I love each story a little more and each pair of lifemates. This is no different. Tamara and Ru’en complement each other so well. I loved getting to know these characters, learning about their tragic pasts, and watching their story unfold.

Warrior Elite Book 8.
I love the dynamic of different ethnics and having Tamara as Latino and her use of Spanish is epic. We find Tamara has a special ability when her world was invaded by the ISC and her and her family were used as science experiments. When Warrior Elite team with Commander Ru’en, Thret, and Choku go to find missing teammate Jokur, the Commander finds the omega that can thaw his frozen Frigant heart. I love learning more about these characters and their journey to love and finding their mates. Tamara’s spiciness is refreshing and amusing against the stoic Commander. Love this series and the cameos from the Alpha Elite characters. The fact that the author clues us in that the next lifemate may be Thret’s is poetic.

I have been waiting for Ru'ens story and i was not disappointed.
When fire meets ice, it generally leads to disaster but VT Bonds shows us just how steamy it gets when the two come together and how they compliment each other.
Tamara, a human omega, trapped in the ISC facility, faced torture that brought about her fire abilities. She deals with the guilt, the trauma and the desire to protect the remaining family she has.
Ru'en, an Alpha Frigant, an ice giant, is a jaded commander who doesn't want anything to do with family or humans until he finds his lifemate, Tamara.
Both face issues that they must overcome, personally and as a lifemate couple.
I loved Tamara's sass to Ru'en, and her surprise at Ru'en speaking her language, Spanish, genuinely made me laugh.

Captured by the ISC and forced to work for them. Tamara lives for her family, protecting them as best she can even though they all seem to despise her for it. Ru'en is one of the Warrior Elite sent on a mission to clear the facility where Tamara is. These two are fire and ice, literally. They each have a special ability. He is a Frigant and she can produce flames. He hates family and she loves hers. But he loves her strength and sass and she grows to appreciate his protectiveness. She knows nothing of lifemates but the attraction between these two is strong. I really liked that they didn't get together initially and got to know each other better. Great HEA.

The Warrior Elites are fighting a never-ending battle against the ISC. She had a hot secret talent that the ISC wants her to use. He was a cold as ice elite. Add them together and you get some heavy-duty steam. This book is HOT and wild. There are some triggers so be warned and read the trigger notice. I recommend this book for all those the love the omegaverse.

If you've read any of the books in this series you'll know that they're intense, action-packed, and will drag you through emotional hell, so this title fits. Tamara and Ru'en's story isn't soft and sweet. It's brutal, harsh, and full of pain. It's also one of hope and determination, and animalistic passion. I stayed up way to late because I couldn't put it down, and it left me in a serious reading funk for days. I'm used to this happening when I read this author, and it's one of the things that makes Ms. Bonds one of my must reads.

can’t find words
I’m at a loss to give full justice to how good all the books in this series are. V.T. Bonds has the most talented mind for world building and coming up with special talents for the omegas and alphas. The drama, suspense and heart wrenching scene’s throughout the stories added to the emotional tug of war and hot explosions of passion between the OA’s makes these books a must read in one sitting. Highly recommend

This pair of characters were definitely made for one another and opposites do attract .Tamara all fire and a human omega Latina. Here life mate cold as can be yet not when it comes to her. When these two finally get to the good stuff it was everything spicy I hoped it to be. The ending was bittersweet but everything was set right . The narrators did such a fabulous job narrating and bringing these characters to life. Loved the Spanish pieces. The story was amazing all and all.

This is book 8 in the Warrior Elite series, a Dark Omegaverse Sci-Fi Romance. This is another great addition to the series. Ru’en and Tamara's is intense, entertaining, and captivating, filled with danger, drama, and twists and turns. Vivienne LaRue and Tor Thom did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Captured and Claimed, the next book in the series. I like this series! #StoryOrigin

Tamara and Ru’en’s story is a whirlwind of action, suspense, drama, angst, violence, emotional turmoil and some very steamy moments. Tamara and Ru’en are both very unique (fire and ice) and the perfect match for each other.
Fantastic imagery and world building that instantly transports us to these different and unique worlds.
Loved this story and look forward to the next one.

I have been curious, since being introduced to Ru'en in previous books, how someone who can literally freeze others would have his own Omega. I love that Tamara is his total opposite. It makes sense that they would work together. And also be able to help keep the other stable. It was so great to read their story. And I loved both characters so much! Can't wait for the next one!

Oh these two. Such opposites Tamara , who is soft and heat. Ru’en who is ice and hides his emotions. This is full of action, suspense, drama, angst, hot and steamy and full of, emotional turmoil. Tamara and Ru’en are the perfect match for each other.

I think what saved the story for me were the narrators. Maybe it's because I started the series on book #8, but the story didn't seem to flow well. The characters were interesting. FMC had fire while the MMC was an ice creature but the overall story just seemed jumbled. I don't think I would read any more from the series.

Tamara has been a prisoner of the ISC for 8 years and has done her best to protect her family. Ru'en is an ice giant Tamara has fire at her core, so when she and Ru'en meet. ice and fire. This is another great story by V T Bonds.
They jouney the two characters take together is dark, dangerous fulfilling.

Tamara is an omega captured by ISC and Ru’en is one of the Warrior Elite sent on the mission that leads him to Tamara. However, she’s supposed to be his prisoner. I loved this one and Ru’en and Tamara were perfect for each other. A recommended read and series.

Audiobook Version
Ru'en and Tamara's journey has been so much fun. This story has an intriguing plot with some amazing characters. Plenty of graphic action, sexual and drama. The narration was amazing both of the narrators sounded so good together. I definitely recommend this book.

This is so good. I enjoyed this series and this was a great addition. Ru’en and Tamara are a enjoyable couple and there adventure was steamy and fun. There is adventure and excitement with interesting moments and great characters. This is a enjoyable listen. The narration was good.

That was one fantastic read! Somehow, these two characters, Tamara and Ru'en, are really quite different from the author's other Warrior Elite pairs, but just as lustful in a smoldering hot story with a ton of action. Seriously, how does the author's brain come up with such an unusual and unique alien like MMC Ru’en—an Ice being? I’m amazed. And FMC Tamara is no less amazing with her fire power, and then, having them somehow complement each other in their incompatibility. You can't miss this incredible story if you adore spicy sci-fi fantasy like I do!
