About the author

Having been brought up in poverty in New York's East Harlem neighborhood and seeing the lighter side of the darkest situations became my means of survival. In writing my book, I wanted to share with those wounded by circumstance that there is hope and opportunity in the rubble of all that angst and confusion.

My book details my journey, fueled by childhood dreams and propelled by an intuitive propensity for taking chances. Some led to exhilarating adventures, others to disastrous challenges. Ultimately, my unpredictable destination became my richest reward.
