School’s out, but the fun never arrived.

The enemy is no longer on our doorstep. They’re inside, wreaking havoc in the form of both perceived friends and known foes.
Making what was supposed to be a summer of celebration into an endless string of heartache that led us to one Brutal Revelation.

Brutal Revelation is a novella in the Edgewood Academy Elite Series. It is a slow burn why choose dark high school romance. Meaning the main character will end up with more than one love interest. As the series progresses, so will the level of darkness.

It is an 18+ series with profanity, a feisty heroine, bullying, and obsessive and possessive themes.

A small peek into the chaos after Selection

This Novella continues to bring you closer to the Heirs of Edgewood and the lies and deception that has gotten to this point.

From the guys POV of the struggles and heartache they are all dealing with in the wake of Samantha, Queen of Lipfiller!!! Some suffered more than others but the things they all realized and have in common:
1. They despise the QOL
2. They need to make things right and bring their angel home.

I cannot wait, this was a tease of what to expect and definitely not in a good way!

“You finally understand what I’ve been saying to you all—she’s it for us. Anyone else, and this all will turn to shit. Especially if that anyone is Samantha fucking Davenport.”

Loved this MMC POV-only novella! I was hoping it would serve as a stopgap between books after the cliffy of book two, but it actually made it worse! I don’t know how I will manage until book three is released.

The spice is minimal as the FMC is not collocated with the MMCs. It's still there, found in flashbacks, dreams, and stolen moments, but I was so immersed in the drama surrounding the heirs, I didn't find it lacking.

Genre: Dark Bully Academy Romance
Tropes/Features: Elite High School, secret society, family secrets, plus-sized FMC, family heirs, forced marriage, kidnapping, torture, revenge, somnophilia
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV – MMCs’ POV only
Relationship Type: Why Choose - MFMMM
Book Type/Ending: Novella, Book 2.5 in Edgewood Academy Series, cliffhanger ending
TW/CW: Extensive list available through author’s linktree (link in book)

( Spoilers if y’all have not read book 2 ⚠️)

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
Let me start off by saying that. 😭😂

No matter how much this author puts me on unstable rollercoaster ride. I’ll keep coming back like that girl who keeps going back to their toxic ex. You are always going above my expectations and I am feral for book 3 to get here.

This is a novella that takes off after book 2 (Ruthless Rejection) where the announcement of the chosen is revealed and we see that Owen has been taken and Ariah has left.

I didn’t think I could hate anything or anyone more than I do Sam and this confirms my hatred for her. I know she’s going to be having my blood boil even more in next one. I can feel it but I can’t wait for karma to get her ass.

The heirs have graduated and are in literal hell with not having Ariah with them. We see them trying to figure out who’s behind this ordeal. Every single POV from the men had me on the edge of tears. Okay never mind I did cry. Owen’s especially! Their misery is literally laid out on these pages. Owen’s & Ariah’s little moments of spice leave me breathless but then my bubble is popped. 😅

AMAZING JOB LIKE ALWAYS BUT YOU TOOK MY HEART AND STOMPED ON IT.
Sooo P.H Nix, I need you to put me back together with book 3. Please and thank you 🙃

Brutal Revelation is a quick novella that takes place after Ruthless Rejection. After the announcement of who the Chosen will be we find that Owen has been taken and Ariah is gone. This definitely gave us information we needed and fueled my fire for wanting to do a reread while the wait for Book 3.
I absolutely love these characters. I have a bad memory. I tend to forget things easily but P.H. Nix has written characters that just won’t leave me. I do love that Nix does put small reminds of certain things that the guys like. You will know what I mean when you read them!!
Overall a Novella that gave me a taste of what I wanted but left me also wanting more…I can’t wait for book 3!!

Stupid

Nothing really happens in this book. I honestly don't see how a secret society that is so powerful can't get out of the threat they're under. And the chip in Owen? Come on! Does anyone honestly believe that it can't just be removed? Can the group threatening them come to power eliminating one of the heirs? And if they could, and killed Owen, how would they get the rest of the heirs to not just kill Brittany and everyone else they know of? It's stupid and makes absolutely no sense. At this stage I want to say that they all deserve whatever happens because they're too stupid for anything else. Personally, I would tell the group threatening me that they could have it all and walk away. Nothing would have me marrying Brittany!

My heart....

Ugh my heart is in pieces!! man I hope everyone gets exactly what they deserve for all the stuff these characters had to deal with. If I had one wish for the last book, its that the villain gets a long and drawn out end to them. Here's to hoping there's an hea for us!

As I promised, this one is shorter than the last review!

Can we talk about the fact that all the main characters (sans Sebastian) are all born within a year of each other? All those pregnancies were either perfectly planned or an amazing deus ex machina miracle. Like, I know why, because otherwise, we can't have all the important people (again, sans Sebastian) in the same classroom.
It's bad to the point where none of the other years/classes seem to matter. When the guys had to pick a girl, all five (so including Sebastian's) were in the same class.

Anyway, onto the quotes...

The computer opens to his home screen. "5Ab2G3!," I mutter mostly to myself, but it's loud enough for him to hear.
"The day he realized he loves her," Lev chokes out.

Can anyone tell me what the date is supposed to be? It's not making any sense to me.

"And you can't reach her because she cut you assholes off faster than the government does you make half a cent more than allowed for benefits, didn't she?"
The set-up took too long so the pay-off is disappointing. I get PH Nix was trying to be funny here, but it takes too long for the joke to finish. Also, it's a very long sentence without breaks (until the "didn't she" part at the end).

My heart stops in my chest before doubling in speed as I breathe for what feels like the first time in forever as I watch the beautiful girl whose hair is no longer midnight blue step into view. Strawberry blond locks catch the wind, and I try to taste her scent with everything.
Wtf does that last part mean?? With his whole body? Does he want to put it on toast? It's a really weird way to describe something.

It's been one thousand and eight hours, five hundred and fifty-six minutes, and forty-eight seconds since I last laid eyes on my girl. I'd be dead if I was campiric and relied on her for blood. I want to punch the universe in its bitch ass face, kick Father Time in his balls, and flay fate alive for this bullshit.
Ariah should never be where I can't reach her. She should never feel anything less than love from me - from
us - and because of the dusty, moldy cunt, Samantha, she's both. The second one is a bold-faced lie, but Ariah doesn't know that. She thinks the worst of us, and at this moment, I'd have to agree.
...she's what exactly? I've staring at this for what feels like four hours but what probably is maybe five minutes, but I might just be starting to understand what this chapter's flavor (Wyatt) is trying to say. But goddamn if it isn't extremely unclear.
Also, Grammarly wants to correct "bold-faced" lie to "bald-faced" lie but the original text says "bold-faced" so that it shall be.

Rising, I grip my dick, hold the head to her entrance, and slowly push in. Three barbells deep, I stop and slow stroke, rolling my hips as I rub her clit. I throw my head back when I feel her walls clamp down on my cock.
Home, I'm finally fucking home.

That sounds pretty normal, right? Except it's not.

Some backstory: Because every guy had already fallen for Ariah, she would have been the obvious choice to win the Selection and marry all those fuckers. Except one of the guys, Owen, gets himself kidnapped and if the other guys don't pick a specific other person (Samantha), Owen is a dead man. Instead of talking this over with other people, one of the guys decides on his own to go along with that and so "they" pick Sam. Ariah, in response, not only leaves the building in tears, but she leaves town and state to disappear completely. She wants nothing to do with the guys, the town, or the cult, so she rightfully gets away from everything.

Some backstory 2: Before the start of the story, Wyatt received an assignment from the head council of the cult he's a part of, to, idk, learn more about Ariah or some shit. Of course, once he started stalking her he was instantly smitten, so it didn't stop with stalking, oh no, before the story had even started he had already assaulted Ariah multiple times. This continues throughout the first two books (not in the novella but only because Ariah disappeared), while Ariah is not aware of this and hasn't been made of this by Wyatt, or Owen, who joins Wyatt during the story. Whenever she's assaulted, she either doesn't notice or thinks it's a wet dream.
Wyatt has figured out where she is, so he decides to visit her, but only once she's asleep. He gets found by her dad who then enables him not once but at least twice to assault/rape his daughter. While she's asleep. What a fucking good guy. Not. And we're supposed to cheer for these people.
Obviously, once Ariah finds out I'm sure she's gonna be into it, even if it takes her a hot minute to get used to the idea, because it's one of those series where women are into assault and rape.
If you're wondering why she's not waking up: two years before the start of the story, Ariah's dad disappears, which causes her to develop anxiety and depression(?). The meds she takes cause her to sleep very deeply, hence Wyatt being able to rape her without her noticing.

Some backstory 3: Once Ariah and the guys start having sex, she wants the guys to wear a condom because she isn't too keen on an (accidental) teen pregnancy, which is very valid. And they adhere to her one rule. Unless, of course, she's not awake to say no :) In the aforementioned quote, Wyatt isn't wearing a condom. Every other instance it's mentioned the guy is wearing a condom (or he sticks his hotdog in a different bun), and here nothing of the sort is said. So not only does Wyatt rape Ariah (it can't be mentioned enough times), he also goes against the one wish she had if they were to have sex with her. In conclusion, Wyatt deserves to have his dick chopped off without anesthesia and then fed to him raw.

Last note: Please just choose between dick/cock and don't use them in the same fucking paragraph.

Tiny change of topic, but can we also talk about the fact that Ariah pretty much passes out almost immediately every time she has sex with somebody/somebodies? That doesn't sound healthy. Or maybe PH Nix doesn't know how to write about aftercare so she lets Ariah just pass out to be done with it. That's what I suspect, at least.

Last one!
It's Wyatt who speaks. "She's gone."
My eyes grow to almost four times their original size, and my jaw flexes as I process his words.
Gone? My breath seizes in my chest. I can't - she can't. "What do you mean gone? Who has her?" I demand because I refuse to believe she's dead.
"She's not missing," Lev begins, and the machine kicks up to alarming levels.
"No," I snap, kicking my leg from the bed and pilling wires and tubes from my body. "She can't be dead!"
"Fuck," Wes shouts. "She's not dead. Stop before you hurt yourself, you goddamn idiot!"
Wes's words still me long enough to listen to Lev. "She's not missing - she left."
Left?"Why the fuck would she do that?" I growl. This shit doesn't make any sense.
As I mentioned earlier, Owen was kidnapped. He was held captive for about a month, and then, due to his extensive injuries, was kept in a coma for another six weeks. Part of the reason he was kept in a coma/sedated was because he only wanted to see Ariah (who left after he was kidnapped) and well, obviously she wasn't there and every time he noticed she wasn't there he'd panic.
He's finally well enough to fully wake up and, less panicky, ask where Ariah is. At first, the guys look really uncomfortable and then Wyatt says "she's gone". My dude my buddy, you don't tell one of your best friends who hasn't seen Ariah, the girl he's been in love with, for ten weeks, who has been tortured where the only thing that kept him alive was her that "she's gone". There are so many other ways of saying the same goddamn thing. Because of course Owen starts panicking again and then they have to explain Ariah's not kidnapped (again) or dead but she left, which they should have done in the first place.
I know books exist to have drama in them, but this was unnecessary and extremely cruel to someone who had been through enough already. Since I don't particularly care about any of them, it would have been really funny if Owen had had a heart attack right then and there and him thinking Ariah's dead is what kills him.

Book 3 comes out in January so of course I'll read it :)

I love Nix and her writing so much and when I am caught up on ARCs and such I wanna do a re-read the series and look for clues! If you haven’t read The Edgewood Academy series it’s a must!!

Plot/Storyline : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
Spice : 🌶️.5
Editing (grammar, typos, etc) : ✏️✏️✏️✏️

PLEASE BE AWARE : This novella takes place after Ruthless Rejection and is NOT a standalone. This series should be read in order for the best experience and understanding of events in Edgewood Academy Elites.

Brutal Revelation picks up right where Ruthless Rejection leaves off with Ariah having left Edgewood after Wes’ emergency meeting and announcement.

The Heirs and by extension the Council are in utter disarray with the loss of Ariah’s presence and Owen missing.

Of course, more sh*t comes out of the woodwork as the search for Owen transpires and we’re introduced to a couple new people along with a new group that the Council is in alliance with.

While Owen is being held captive, he has sexy dreams (possibly flashbacks?) of Ariah that seem to keep him grounded and motivated as he goes through another bout of torture while being kidnapped. This is where the bit of spice comes in considering the Heirs all make a vow to not put a finger on another girl until they get Ariah back.

This is probably the most angst and emotion-filled book - even as a novella - for the series yet. I needed to keep a box of tissues nearby to wipe my tears with all things pertaining to the Heirs, especially Owen, in this one.

Editing was pretty decent with this one considering it’s a novella. There was an inconsistency regarding a character name that didn’t crossover from the previous book to this one - but I reiterate that’s a “me” issue as a non-skim reader with an analytical brain.

I look forward to Beautiful Ascension and the (maybe) conclusion of Ariah and the Heirs in January 2024.

Brutal Revelation is very aptly named because it is in fact brutal. This novella is very necessary to the series and sets us up to hit the ground running in book 3. We get to see how all of our favorite boys are handling the events of book 2 that have left them in shambles, and it is not a fun time for them.

While there are lighthearted and funny moments (and spicy moments), this is a heavy book that will really make you feel things. I found myself feeling much more emotionally connected with the heirs after finishing Brutal Revelation. As much as I adore Ariah and can’t wait to get back to her story, it was nice to have some time dedicated just to the heirs and watching them grown and learn how to deal with everything being thrown at them.

There were quite a few rage-inducing moments throughout the story, so be prepared to want to punch something (and that something will probably be Samantha Davenport). While some questions were answered, a lot more were created. You’re introduced to a lot of new information, but in typical Nix fashion, you’re left guessing what it could all mean. I’m ready to play detective in book 3 and find out the answers to all of my new questions that I got from Brutal Revelation.

Overall, I think this novella was an important addition to the Edgewood Academy Elite series, and it provided a clear path for all of the drama and intrigue to take off on in book 3. As always, Nix has me hooked, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

This novella packs a punch. Even though it is short, there is so much going on. I find that I enjoyed it as much as the first two books. Ariah isn't technically in this one, in the sense that there is a POV from her. She's mentioned and seen but this book mainly focuses on the heirs, their "choice", getting Owen back and healthy, and next steps.

The heirs are hurting after Wes announced they were choosing Sam... blah! Sam's still just as irritating as she was in books one and two. I doubt that will change and I really wish someone would finally take her off the board and out of the game. Anyway, the heirs aren't doing well but they have to keep up pretenses with Sam until they can safely bring home Owen. That also means having to leave Ariah alone instead of working to bring her back home and explain what happened.

Thankfully, they do get Owen back after his body is dropped at the edge of town. It takes him weeks to become well enough to speak and engage with the other heirs. Unfortunately, even though he's back it doesn't mean the heirs are in the clear to deal with Sam and the senator. They still have to play the long game because Owen was implanted with a chip that can be detonated if they do anything they shouldn't. Lev is working to try and counteract the chip but it's proving difficult.

They also need to continue weeding out the names of others in their midst who are working to overthrow them and the council from power.

Uuuuugggggghhhhhh what can I say when it comes to my Edgewood Elite Men, devastated is a good place to start. Man oh man my favorite Owen finally comes home but not before the skeezy group wanting to destroy their lives makes his existence even worse. Wes, Lev, Wyatt and Sebastian couldn’t be happier once Owen comes home. The question is how is Ariah handling everything since the choice was made? Who gets to tell Owen what has happened since he’s been gone? Who’s wanting to destroy them? Everywhere they turn and every rock they uncover is another rat in their midst. Will the viper Samantha just finally get what’s coming to her? This novella had me glued to it from the first page and I went through all of the emotions and just asking WHY????? I need for my favorite Elite men Wyatt, Owen, Lev, Sebastian and Wes to make everything right and show Ariah who loves her and will burn down the world for her. They also need to figure out who’s behind this decimation of their lives and world? I literally can’t wait to see what’s next in the lives of the Edgewood Elite and my favorite sassy Ariah. I love this series and feel everyone who enjoys carnage, violence, morally gray male characters, passion, spice, sassiness, mystery and so much more needs to read this series you won’t be disappointed at all!!!

"I want to freeze time and stay in this moment until it's safe to hit play..."
I am dying to know just how deep this beautifully wicked story goes. Brutal Revelation is an inside peek to what Ariah's guys are up to after Ruthless Rejection.

Not me, fangirling over the fact I was accepted as an ARC reader. I am obsessed with the Edgewood Elite books, so when P.H. announced a novella coming after book two...*cue screaming* I was so friggen excited! I don't want to give anything away. Just read everything carefully, follow the clues. I shed a few tears, cussed a whole lot, and gritted my teeth until the last page. It's a love-hate relationship with novellas. There's just enough suspense to leave us wanting, and I. Am. Wanting. I can't wait for Ariah's story to resume, and we get to see things from her pov once again.

Brutal Revelation is book 3 of the Edgewood Academy Elite Series and is a novella told from the point of view of the heirs themselves. I loved being able to see the individual personalities of our guys a little more. My heart broke for them for the pain and hurt they're going through and I suffered severe emotional damage. 😂 It was 100% worth the tears and rage I felt. If you didn't already despise the bitch known as Samantha Davenport, you're definitely going to hate her after this one. Although this was a Novella, it did answer alot of questions after the cliffhanger from Ruthless Rejection. If you haven't already read the first two books of this series, Twisted Selection and Ruthless Rejection, I highly recommend doing so before reading this one.

I won't offer any spoilers for Brutal Revelation but I will say that it is definitely a 5 star book! P.H. Nix has already proven that she is an incredible, unique and talented writer and this book only solidified my love for her books. I cannot wait to see where this series will take us next!!!

Book 3 (is novella), was packed full for its tiny size!!!!

Owen is still missing, and the boys are now having to marry the evil and sadistic Samantha (can't stand this b!*ch).

Ariah is also missing, she left right after her heart was broken when Wes announced who their chosen was.

The boys figure out who's behind all this and make it their mission to take care of it and get Ariah back, and also find their best friend who was taken.

They find Owen, but he has no idea that Ariah is missing and when he does, all hell breaks loose. He also has something inside him that could possibly hurt their whole plan if they don't follow through with marrying their chosen.

I loved how this novella was in the POVs of the boys. You got to really experience how they were all feeling with the events that unfolded in book 2. I loved everything about this novella and can't wait to dive into the 4th and final book of the series. Highly recommend. (Please make sure you check your TWs.)

Frustratingly Amazing!

Have you ever just wanted to crawl inside a book and take the action you know needs to be taken while the main characters drag their feet? That's how I feel. As much as I am absolutely loving this series (I'll reread this one time and time again) but it frustrates the hell out of me!

If you like dark romance, the triggers don't bother you, a kick ass female and men who will kill for her, this is a series for you. Be warned... Although it is amazing, it's equally frustrating. This whole serves will have you on the edge of your seat and not want to stop reading.

If you are prone to throwing things, maybe buy the actual books so you don't break your kindle or other reading device. Thank god for backups because I did toss my kindle! And I'm not sorry. This series is just to good to care!

If I read correctly, this was the authors debut series and it was knocked out of the park! Run and buy it, you won't be sorry. Now on to the final book and the biggest book hangover I'm pretty sure I'm ever going to have.

Despite being a novella, this book still packed a punch and made my heart absolutely tear apart for my Heirs.

This starts hot on the heels of Ruthless Rejection’s soul-crushing ending and cliffhanger and doesn’t slow down one bit. If you haven’t read book 1 or 2, SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE BOOKS, TURN AWAY.

Everything that happens after the very ruthless rejection from the aptly titles book is told from the Heirs’ POV. Owen is yet again in captivity, holding on by a thread of sanity with thoughts only of seeing his Angel again when he gets rescued. The Heirs are another step closer to sealing the deal on their Fraternitas legacy, but with the wrong woman. And everyone’s still scrambling to figure out the source of all the betrayals.

This made me sooooo hungry for the next book. I had to reread the ending of book 2, and I finally picked up on some small details that made me clutch my pearls!! BOOK 3 IS GONNA BE SO GOOD. PH NIX, YOU DID IT AGAIN YOU SAUCY MINX!

🔥 A Novella
🔥 5 Guys' point of view NO Ariah
🔥 Summer between High School & College
🔥 Loads of Hurt & Pain

Just a filler but necessary for the whole. On to the finale!!

My Personal Ratings:

5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released.

4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author.

3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. Sometimes the book is great but needs some TLC from an editor. May or may not continue the series.

This novella is set straight after book two, Ruthless Rejection. It is told by the guys POV, and it is packed with emotion and hurt, but you will definitely want to read it before book three.

We ended book two on a huge cliffhanger as we were told who the Chosen was and what happened to Owen (I won't go into too much to avoid spoilers). My heart was utterly breaking at that cliffhanger, and this novella gave us some answers, I loved that it was told by the guys Owen, Wes, Sebastian, Lev, and Wyatt. We get more insight into who they are individually and how they cope with the utter chaos going on in their lives!

This novella sets us up for book three and ends with so many questions needing answered. My rage for Samantha is even more now!

I can't wait for book three and definitely recommend you read this novella. You won't regret it, even through the tears.

How does it go? “Sorrows, sorrows, prayers”?

Oh yeah, that’s how I feel for what the characters (and the readers) are going through in this short, tear jerking novella told solely by the boys.

The Edgewood heirs have graduated and are spending their summer in torment since Ariah left. I felt their pain and what poor Owen went through after being kidnapped.

One thing is for certain though, this book made me hate Sam even more than I already did. Nix knows how to write a TRULY unlikeable character!

The small doses of spice throughout broke up the sadness and the story was well paced. I cannot wait to have all of my questions answered in book three!

TO NIX: I love you. But also, how dare you make me feel things! 🥺

Thank you P. H. Nix for the ARC.

A choice. Letting the love of your life believe it was all a lie or lose your best friend. Life and death. An impossible decision with only one answer. For some, the realization of what you had a little too late, and now it’s gone. The guys have work to do and things are only just starting to piece together. Brutal Revelation is a novella giving us an update from the perspective of the Heirs. One thing is certain; traitors lurk everywhere. The Heirs will have to be perfect to come out on the other side. Everything is at stake.

“There is no us without her.”

“I fought through hell, and the only thing that kept me going was knowing she was here waiting for me,”

“She always quieted the noise.”

You are amazing with bringing back little hints about what the guys like in each book I love it ..
Samantha can goooo to a very bad place 🤣I hate her so much right now …
Owen my god I felt so bad for him:-( him being taken and Ariah leaving :-( girl you had all my emotions out.
But the sexy parts of all Owen’s memories of them together ! I thank you for that! Or when our little friend with really fun piercings snuck in the room.
Good god girl!! I can’t wait for the next book.
This ending killed me , but my god this was soooo good! This is a must read for sure ..

After the big cliffhanger in the previous book this novella was needed! I don’t want to say too much without giving away what happened in the previous book, but we get to see the boys side of what happens right after the cliffhanger. Definitely helped with some answers about how the book ended. This novella had my heart breaking for all those guys though🥺 The guys are all going crazy with trying to figure out how fix all these problems that are happening all at once! But this novella also needs with you still wanting the next book! Cause nothing is fixed and nerves are at an high with everything going on!

This release from P.H. Nix is a short novella, that takes place right after the ending of Ruthless Rejection. Ariah has run off and the heirs have a choice to make of her or one of their own...but what if they never really had a choice in the first place? Even though this was a short read, I literally read it in an hour, there is so many emotions to go through. I would expect nothing else from P.H. Nix though. This series so far has been such an emotional rollercoaster, but I am going to trust the process. I am hoping we are close to our happy ending. I am stuck wondering after this book, what was found on the nightstand? I can not wait till the 4th book.

This novella has so much going on that it's easy to forget it isn't a full blown novel. It picks up right where Ruthless Rejection left off from the guys' perspective. We see what is going on with O, and how the guys interpret everything that happened with Ariah.

The whole situation is messed up and heartbreaking. There doesn't seem to be any good choices...except to maybe take care of Samantha. I can see how the guys are trying to do the right thing even when everything seems impossible.

I can't wait to see how Ariah handles them in the next book because I have a feeling she's going to get her revenge. Such an amazing book!

Wow, I was not expecting everything this book revealed. First and foremost, please read Twisted Selection and Ruthless Rejection first! If not, you’ll definitely be lost. Ariah has left, the guys can’t find her, but the good news is she hasn’t been taken. Though Owen is missing and the things he endures is unbelievable. Wyatt, Wes, Lev and Sebastian are trying everything they can to find him. Within the month that Owen is missing, he learns so much. When he’s finally found, my heart just breaks for him. The guys finally have some insights into who’s behind this new, or rather old threat. And Samantha’s just as cruel as ever, I can’t wait until they can get rid of her. Wyatt is keeping a huge secret from the guys, but I’m also so happy about it. I can’t wait for book 3!! This novella just left me with more questions than answers.

"The Novus Ordo Seclorum has been patient enough."

This book is classified as Dark Romance, and is book three of the connected series. It does have a trigger warning list: somno, NONCON, attempted SA, kidnapping, anxiety, self-harm, stalking, graphic torture, graphic violence, self delete thoughts/idealization, coercion.

The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Wes, Wyatt, Sebastien, Owen, and Lev. They all appear in previous books.

I gave this book five stars. One thing I appreciate about this author is how she waited until the ages were 18 before spice. The series started at 17 years old, but the spice didn't happen until 18.

Tropes: dark romance, why choose romance, high school romance, secret society, slow burn

Brutal Revelation is an Edgewood Elite Novella. The novella picks up where Ruthless Rejection left off. There were questions that are seemingly answered. Yes, I said seemingly because there are always plot twist. More questions are added by the time I finished reading the book. No Ariah POV in this book. Chapter 9 is my favorite. At the end of the book, I am still angry regarding Sam!!! I would say that this book is helped me with waiting for book 3.
