In a world overrun with man-eating monsters, you never know what day may be your last. But for Chris Hart, this isn’t a fact worth losing sleep over.
It’s a challenge to overcome.
Now that he’s got two outrageously murderous and sexy monster women by his side, Chris is ready to take on any and all obstacles that threaten his mission.
And hey, sometimes that requires outsmarting uppity hunters, running corporate scientists out of town, slaughtering the creepiest damn beasts you could imagine, and still finding time to satiate the lethal appetites of your monster women.
Luckily, it’s always a good day for killin’ in the famous Heathen Row.
Interesting premise but forgettable as the story drags.
Not much here. I like the premise, but there's not much to the content except filler dialogue and descriptions of every action and every scene. The author clearly trying for word count over explaining everything. Sum up the whole book the main characters eat, shop, eat, fight a monster, introduce new character, eat, and mix in some relationships. The plot drags along and slowly moves until like the last chapter where it sets up to continue this boring narrative. As I said it's an interesting story premise but zero thrills action and you really don't care about any of the characters, where the main character just fawns over his harem and vice versa.
Heathen Row is back with more Monster Hunting, more Monster Girl action, and now a corporation is moving in on the town and is portals with I'll intentions.
But with a potential new ally and further evidence supporting his hopes of finding his brother, Chris is getting drawn deeper into the chaos of the Portals and the changes that seem to be happening around him.
A real page turner and an awesome read that I couldn't put down once I started. Love every page and looking forward to more!
I have to admit that I was frustrated when I reached the end of book 1. I was very much looking forward to book two but it hadn't been published yet. Fortunately, Logan Jacobs is prolific and his written several other series which to help hold me over until book 2.
Book two had to have a little introduction for those who didn't get to read book one, but it was a rip roaring ride of fun and adventure. A little sexy and little bloodshed if I'm going to try to keep from giving spoilers.
Amazing and unique story . This author is an expert writer and one of the greatest writers today . I literally read everything I can that he has written Please don’t stop writing . Can’t wait for the next installment
This is such a fun and exciting series, a variation on the portal fantasy that is truly epic! The characters and overall story are truly a caliber of the highest order, ANF I eagerly await the next one!
Book two was even better than book one if that’s possible.I doubt the author reads these reviews. But this is a really good series front to back with action and super sexy monster ladies.
A truly unique fantasy, cross dimensional adventure! The MC isn't some OP superman that solves everything but a more down to earth and living in the "gray" area of life which only enhances the series!!
Yet another great book and another series I really hope everything continues to go well for them. I think he is in rote needs to develop their own monster hunting company.
There's a new complication and it isn't hot new lady monster. Chris is once again up to his boxers in keeping the secret of his what his girlfriends are and helping another hunter while thwarting a corporation.
Liked the developments in the story. The new Monster Woman was pretty fun to interact with. Liked the freelance hunter they meet. Looking forward to the next book.
I always enjoy reading his books. Always seems to come up with a great story. Both books so far have been great to read. Will get the next one for sure when it comes out.
A continued great story with new women, new twists and continuous action! I like the style and humor of these books and am immediately starting the next book!
Book 2 and we're still seeing the A game. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the opening book, but this is still a very good book, and continues the series nicely. Absolutely recommended.
