I listened to the audiobook version. Mostly, I was curious to see how the narrator would handle performing a person's voice over their entire lifetime, since that's the premise of this book. As a narrator myself, I know that would be a huge challenge. Didn't disappoint. At times, the story feels more suited to young adult audiences, but I also wondered how young adult audiences would relate to or handle the concept of aging. The story kept my interest to the end. And since this was included with Audible subscription, I couldn't complain about the price. If you're at all interested, go for it.
"Time Enough" was a thoroughly enjoyable audiobook experience. The intriguing premise and well-crafted plot kept me hooked from start to finish. The narrator did an excellent job, of bringing the characters to life with distinct voices and engaging delivery. The story balanced humour and suspense effectively, providing both laughs and moments of genuine tension. While a few sections felt slightly rushed, the overall pacing was solid and kept my interest throughout. The characters were relatable and well-developed, making their journeys compelling.
No no no I’m sorry I’m gonna DNF straight away because I do not need to know what a library is and I fear the rest of the book is gonna be exploring what this man child is learning 🤪 Although it did make me miss my nephew 🥰
