Fighting to stay alive her whole life, she won’t stop until she finds her boys again. Her father stole her away from them. Now that she’s free. She will do whatever is necessary to find them. Even if it’s making a deal with the demons of the Underworld. Will she be able to find the boys she loved as a girl? Will she have the chance to find her boys? Lastly, will the men of the Underworld be able to protect her from her father and the men that work for him? Even if she’s finally found a way to avoid the eyes hunting her, will it last? Her father may want to find and sell her, but will the reach of the Underworld paralyze him in his efforts? She vowed to find her men. Even if it kills her.
This story is instalove, and unlike some other readers, I'm fine with that. I do wish that there had been more development shown in their friendship from the younger years. They had a lot of years apart, and after their reunion as adults, they jumped right into the romantic relationship. Picking up their friendship was inevitable, but the romance would have been more believable with a tad more buildup. That aside, I loved how the leaders of the Underworld were all in for their Persephone. They never stopped looking for her and wanted to give her the world as soon as they found her again.
One of the sweetest scenes I have ever read is between Jane and Jace. He used to play the piano for her and hadn't been able to play since their separation. In a flashback, she expresses how his playing comforts her, and he tells her he'll play it forever. Major swoon right there.
Some of the plot is a bit rushed, but the characters are really likeable. I adore Alpha and beta and hope they find their HEA someday too.
You'll find Jane gets kinda bloodthirsty at the end, but her revenge is sweet. And with the powers of the Underworld at her back, she comes into her own as a bad a $ $ lead character!
Really enjoyed this one. All the characters were amazing and bad@ ss. I did feel like the story itself moved a bit too quickly. Like the beginning it was her wanting to find her men and she literally found them on the first chapter. In a way I liked that it wasn't dragged but I would have liked their meeting to be a little bit slower.
You can't deny how much all the men love her and how much she adores them too. I would have liked a bit more conversations between them especially after not seeing each other for 10 years. It felt like they found each other and just jumped right in, and them catching up was a going back memory instead of them actually having the conversation. Idk I loved how she felt comfortable with them and their world to fit right in but it was a little too quickly.
There was also some action that kept me entertained and a little bit worried ngl. Some of the side characters, the brothers, stole my heart. I definitely have a soft spot for them and can't wait to read their book.

I received and ARC -and totally enjoyed this story. I loved the Greek mythology tie in. The spice scenes were awesome 🥵 I cant wait to see what comes next for Jane and the guys. Definite “who did this” vibes and i love that. Also why choose?!?! Always good.
Honestly I want four men falling at their feet for me … 🤣
This book has a great story line with character development along the way. This author knows how to make you feel the emotions each character feels. If you enjoy romance and reverse harems give this author a try!
This story was a mix of feelings for me. I liked it, until it kinda got weirdly written, then I was back to enjoying it again. I was really hoping for more spice and more RH activities between the 5 of them.
I definitely have a thing for Greek mythology so that was fun to read. I also didn't mind the insta-love thing right from the get go. It was weird though that she was so young in the beginning of the story and the boys being older were so protective and lovey towards her. Overall I enjoyed the concept of the book and what the author was trying to deliver.
I don’t review often and I’m normally pretty critical of baby authors as they don’t always take care of proofing as well as they should. All that to say - Ivy Cole went above and beyond to deliver an amazing story without plot holes or grammatical errors. My only complaint is that I finished it as fast as I did because I couldn’t put their story down.
I'm always a sucker for anything Greek mythology. But a Greek mythology mafia romance.. AAAAHHH. love. The story was gripping... The spicy is perfect and I'm so excited for the next book! 10/10 recommend
Such a great concept for a story and I loved the fact that she had all of these men drooling over her. Some points felt a little rushed and I wanted more of a build up from their childhood and more info on their search for Jane to really solidify the relationships when they see each other again.
The spicy scenes were 👀👀. I’m slowly easing into more spice reading and this was definitely a dive for me, not mad about it at all.
With having so many characters with nicknames, it did get a little difficult to keep up with who was who and what person was talking in each chapter. I loved how all of the boys had their personalities and that’s exactly how Jane loved them.
The end felt a little rushed with everyone coming in together and having a mini reunion, making it a little confusing but it was overall great.
Absolutely loved this book and I’m sooo excited to read more by Ivy Cole.

I went into this book thinking it was going to actually represent Hades and Persephone somehow so I think that may have set the disappointment. In addition, this was an “easy” read and could’ve easily been read by my 5th grader without issues. The book felt too rushed. There could’ve been more of a storyline instead of rushing into the relationships and rushing into being taken/ rescued. I did read the book start to finish which is why I gave 2 stars. I was hoping it would get better but unfortunately it didn’t.
A different style of writing for me, but I still liked it. The narrative for all the characters are all on point. The sizzle was hot. The plot line was exciting too, it had lots of action throughout, and not just a great big one towards the end. Really enjoyed it
This was a quick read for me, giving a nice little break from all of the fantasy/Romantasy books I've been reading lately. 😅 It did come across as an insta love trope for me a bit, but I didn't mind it. I especially enjoyed the mafia twist and how the FMC wasn't afraid to step up when needed. This is a modern retelling of Hades x Persephone with a Why Choose twist (because more is always better😈). After 10 years of Jane being separated from the four boys she loved as a girl, she finds them again and that they all want her.
Underworld has it all! Love, action, adventure, revenge, and to top it all off spice. Ivy takes us down a path of all these and leaves us breathless and in love with the characters in the end.
This is the second book I have read by Ivy and I love the worlds she builds with her books.
Underworld is a why choose where the FMC Jane is taken away from her best friends by her father where she is subjected to horrible abuse by him and his friends. After escaping she asks the rulers of the Underworld to help find her friends.
Hades, Charon, Thanatos and Cerberus didn’t expect the woman they had been looking for for 10 years came to them looking for her best friends. As the men uncover their true identities they all express their love for Jane now she becomes their Persephone.
Jane is a Queen and love how her character progresses throughout this book. Also love the broody guys in the book they are usually my favourites. I can not wait for what this world will uncover as side characters get there stories.
Bring on the next one Ivy Cole
