He’s my biggest enemy. And my secret mate. He’s a dragon billionaire who has his eyes set on a new project. But to get what he wants, he has to form an alliance with his rival. Me. And alliances with dragons turn out to get too hot, too soon.
He’s the typical rich grump who always gets what he wants. Except me. We bicker like our lives depend on it. Our arguments make me dizzy, until I can’t think straight. Until his fire is in my mouth and his hand in places it shouldn’t be.
If this comes out, I will lose my job. And so I put his forbidden fruits out of my mind. I try not to think of the things he can do when no one is looking. Of all of the things that I could be doing right now other than work with him.
Do I dare risk everything for one more night?
Somewhere on earth, there is a mystical mountain where a billionaire dragon shifter can unlock his powers…but in order to do that, he has to find his mate. Because money can buy things, but dragon love can conquer hearts…

This book is part of a series of interconnected standalones. You can read them on their own, but I think you'd enjoy reading them in order, as the characters reappear in following books...
I really liked this book! I love that Michaela is so strong and independent, that she's succeeded on her own. She's a great FMC! And Ian is pretty perfect! He is strong, but sweet and possessive without being over the top, which is exactly what Michaela needs. I hope we'll get to see more of their HEA in subsequent books in the series... Overall, I recommend this book to anyone who likes shifter romance, and the fated mates trope.
I found the setup of this one to be a little hard to take. Suddenly, Ian knows enough to set up a crypto exchange? When an investor gets stolen from him he storms into the person's office to berate them over something he thought his brother said on a phone call with a bad connection? How professional. Anyway, Niall's brother Ian is still reeling from what his father did to him as a child. Stealing him from his mother and twin brother was just wrong on so many levels. He is glad to have a brother, but mad at his father for keeping them apart for so many years. The move to New York and change in occupation is meant to keep him too busy to think about it. But discovering that his mate is his rival, and a human to boot, really messed with his mind. The fact that he accused her of shady business practices definitely doesn't win her over. But when she comes to him with some information about a very dangerous rival, he agrees to work with her to bring the man down. Will this partnership help or hurt his chances of convincing her to date him? I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Steel Dragon follows on the story from Platinum Dragon, with Ian, Niall’s twin brother. Having found out that his dad had stolen him from his mum he’s moved to NY to start a new business, to keep him busy. When he finds that he’s lost the investor he though he had for the business to another similar start-up he goes to see their CEO. When he sees Michaela he is drawn to her straight away, not knowing what the attraction is. She, similarly, though annoyed by his abruptness, has an instant need for him to be in her life.
Ian is a lovely character and I really enjoyed reading his and Michaela’s story.
I can’t wait to find out more about Joe and his dad.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Soul mate, almost enemies to lovers..... This was a good read, it starts slow and picks up as the story progresses. This can be read as a stand alone, however you get more from the story reading the 1st book. Ian and Michaela have a lot of chemistry and once they get past not liking each other, they are great together. There is very little shifting to his dragon if that bothers anyone. I would have liked to see a little more comeuppance for her family, but it does have a quick resolution. This so far has been an enjoyable series, quickish reads. The storyline holds your attention and I'm interested in seeing the rest of the crew get their HEA!
I received an ARC of this book, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
Steel Dragon had a good, but different trope compared to the first book in the series. Ian, Niall's twin brother finds his soulmate in his competitor Michkela. After he starts up his own crypto currency company called Binary. From the beginning both Ian and Michkela felt something for each other instantly. I received a complimentary ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.
Love the second book in this series. It was a great quick, steamy read. Low-medium angst, slow-medium burn. Can't wait to see what is next! I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
