Deviance. Disaster. Dethroned. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, we were supposed to be together, and the Mayor was supposed to be dead. I was supposed to be free, not caged again by secrets and murder. He took them from me, ripped us apart once more and poured blood in our seams until we were drowning, but this isn’t like the last time. There will be no submission, or acceptance, only defiance. I’m not the same girl he once led to his cage, and I will use every lesson he ever taught me to track him down and end him once and for all. Carter Fitzgerald spent two years trying to make me perfect enough to become his wife. A rose fit to be in the hands of the devil himself, but it just so happens I’ve been taught exactly how to love a monster. I will call Murder and my three Crows will flock to my side, and the only blood on our hands will be his. A Queen Crow never goes down without a fight.

2.5 stars. I liked the first 2 books in this series, but by the end I was just ready for it to be done. Rebecca started out as a decent heroine in the first half of this series. But she feels weak in the final two books. She just melts for her guys, when they haven’t done enough to make up for their earlier bullshit - besides feel bad about it.

She also ultimately doesn't feel like she has much personality, beyond her devotion to her guys and the club. The first two books obscured that, since she was dealing with so much trauma, and the plot is intriguing and draws you in. But by the last two, her lack of personality is notable.

Even by the end of this series, this story didn't do a good enough job with Aiden, so I never came around on liking him. I don’t mind an asshole hero. But he needs some kind of character arc, or growth, and Aiden was missing that. He just went from being a dick, to being devoted to her, with not enough in between. As a result, Rebecca feels like a doormat for him, in the end. I don't always need grovel, but I need SOME actions in between "hero is terrible to her" and "hero is all-in on her." Kingston is also a dark RH with no grovel, but that series did a better job at having the heroes change their behavior and do a bunch of caring actions to the heroine. Same with Stolen. With Aiden, this series just skipped from Point A to Point C too fast.

I'm also not sure why so many authors have the mean guy do degradation kink! It didn't work for me that Aiden did it to her. It would have been SO much better if Ezra was the one doing it, since he was otherwise soft with her, and we knew he loved her.

I liked Ezra and Killian, and that’s part of why I still give this book maybe more stars than it deserves. Their relationship pushed the limits of what I like, in terms of an MM relationship in an RH. The heroine should be the focus. Otherwise, that’s not RH, it’s Poly (which there’s nothing wrong with, but it’s not what RH is). These two guys felt like they were more in love with each other than Rebecca. But, I still liked them, and I did feel their love for her, by the end.

The steam was also good, up through the end. That almost made up for the plot being a mess, and Rebecca's inner monologue being repetitive, and Rebecca ultimately feeling like a weak heroine.

So, I would say read this series if you want an MC RH with good steam, and lots of MM in it. Don't read it if you want a good plot or character development (or satisfying character arcs after the heroes are initially mean to the heroine). It felt like this series started strong in the first 2 books, and then the author didn't really think through how to finish it or even where to take the story.

I don’t regret reading this series – there are too few motorcycle club RHs! - but it’s not a favorite, and I wouldn’t re-read it. The Saving Setora series is still the best MC RH out there, and that series is MUCH better at balancing steam, character development, and plot. And the I Was Born Ruined trilogy also has its flaws, but that MC RH is also ultimately better than this one.

This felt like it’s setting up a lot of side characters for their own spinoffs, like Angel, and Blade and that mysterious doctor, Aria. Even though I’m mixed on this series, I would still read the spinoffs.

I needed to read how this series ended. Book one and two sucked me and is captivating. Book three and four are a different story.

Book four starts were book three ended. The beginning, ending and spice are the best parts of the book. In between seemed to have dragged with repetition to fill the pages. I found myself skimming through out the book.

My low stars could be your five star read.

This series could have been summed up in 2 books, not 4. Books 3 and 4 were so repetitive. I hate that I had to skim through 60% of this book but I was just done with it.

I think I enjoyed the previous books in the series more than this last book.

Rebecca was…an average FMC.
She started out alright, we could excuse a lot because of her trauma. But the last two books showed so little personality of hers. It was like, trauma was her entire personality.
The things she did to “step up and be Queen” were lame in my opinion. But at the end, she still felt like a doormat.

I liked Ezra.
I liked Killian.
Aiden….eh…he’s alright. He was a dick. And his character arc didn’t really blow me away.
I dunno.
I feel a bit lukewarm on the whole harem.

They all drown in their guilt, but then still behave like tools…

That’s another thing.
The guilt.
Wowzers, more guilt in this series than in a confessional.
We get it. You made many dumb mistakes. You feel awful. But for the love of dough…DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, and stop whining constantly. And then still behaving like wankers

The one character I was rooting for was Angel.
And he wasn’t an option for some reason. Like…girl. He’s been the only good thing!?! What are you doing?!

Anywho.

I’m sorry, I just can’t with this book and this series anymore. Thank goodness it’s over.

I have so many (mostly negative) thoughts, but the bottom line is that at the end of the day I didn’t like this series and it just didn't work for me. I skimmed a healthy portion of this book just to be done with it.

I really don’t recommend this one and look, I’ve said it already in my review for book #3, but no one is sadder about this series being a dud than I am. I’m so disappointed because I wanted to love this one so hard! But the problems are a'plenty here and the only way to fix it would be a complete overhaul.

I get the impression that this author had a story idea, that was probably really good, in her head but once she started putting it on paper it started getting away from her. I'm not sure she had enough direction on where she wanted her story to go or how she wanted her characters to arc, so she was making it up on the fly, which is not a great way to write a series. I see this happen a lot and I would say that 9/10 times it makes a series fall apart for the author. My suggestion would be to at the very least plot out your ENTIRE SERIES before you publish that first book. Otherwise you don't know where you're going with your characters and things turn so messy. Just my two cents, for what they're worth.

The author also clearly set up a spin-off and on one hand, I did not enjoy this series, so I can’t say I’m a huge fan of this author at the moment, but on the other hand… I’m a bit intrigued by this potential spin-off. I just can’t decide if I’m willing to let this author disappoint me again or not. Time will tell!

I really wanted to like this series, and for the most part, I did. But it was so drawn out because of all the extra internal monologues happening. I found myself skipping whole sections because I just wanted the plot to move forward without hearing the characters talk about their horrible situations and trauma for the first 2 pages of each chapter.

Absolutely obsessed with this series and basically everytime I see someone on a MC, I wonder if he's a Crow and if there's a harem waiting back at the club.

This series was EVERYTHING!!!
Omg I just- LOVED IT.
I didn’t ever want it to end.
I laughed, I sobbed, I swooned and jumped my partners bones (multiple times)🤪
My heart is officially owned by the Crows.

So tempted to get “murder” with a crow tattooed on my arm- iykyk

I’m so glad this is over. It really could’ve ended at Book 3 since it got dragged out so much. The first 60-70% was just nonsense 🫠

Though I’m glad Rebecca got her happy ending with her Crow’s.

I have to admit, this book series was a bit like a rollercoaster ride - addicting, frustrating, and yet strangely compelling. Every time I finished a book, I found myself torn between frustration at yet another cliffhanger and curiosity to see what happens next. Despite the ups and downs, I couldn't help but be drawn in by the intriguing main plot and the well-developed characters.

However, I couldn't shake the feeling that the series could have been more streamlined. With four individual books, there were moments of redundancy and repetition that could have been avoided if the story had been condensed. The author seemed to rely on familiar patterns and motifs, which made some scenes feel overly familiar.

While the cliffhangers kept me hooked, I couldn't help but feel that the climaxes of each book fell a bit short. Certain unresolved plot points left me feeling unsatisfied, particularly when it came to the character of Angel. It seemed like there were missed opportunities to further develop his role in the story. Why didn't he just join the harem? Honestly, one more would not have made any difference :)

Overall, though, this series offers a solid MC romance with its fair share of highs and lows. Despite some minor and major hiccups, it's a compelling read for fans of the genre.

I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Crows

I went into this book with so many unanswered questions as we all know the last book ended on a major cliff hanger and deep down I didn't know how this book was going to answer all my questions but oh it did and more. Rebecca is the definition of a strong character she has been through the deepest darkest of hell, and even when it should have completely broken her, she came out of it stronger than ever. I have never seen a characters strength be put on the line as much as hers, and I am completely amazed by her determination and strength. The Crows might be her everything, but she is their queen, and the bond between the four of them is so unique that despite everything they go through, they are a unit. I'm going to keep this spoiler free as I really believe that the best way to fall in love with these character is to experience them for yourself going in blind.
I am 100% sure I am not ready to say goodbye to the Crows, and I really hope that it's not the last we see from these characters

In this town, there's always someone watching.

The last book of the Crows 😭😭😭 it's so bittersweet as I'm sad to see them go but my god am I pleased we won't have any more bloody cliffhangers!!!

Disarray picks up right where Disloyal left off, which I think we all needed for our sanity to be honest! I won't lie, there's some bloody stressful times throughout, and I was fully on edge when Rebecca stepped into that fuckin' graveyard and for GOOD REASON.

It's so nice to finally see these characters get the ending they deserve and have the world on their side for once, Rebecca especially deserved that. Aiden's character development throughout this series is also perfect, I think he needed to work through some things and experience some of Bex's trauma to really realise what he could have with her and his best friends.

Some people get on their knees to worship god, but I get on mine to worship my President, and his two best friends, and fuck does it feel good.

AND THE SPICE 🌶️🌶️🌶️ HOLY HELL.

The below scene was my fave in the entire book (sorry, Killer) but even this just shows Aiden's development and what he would do for his girl.

"Eyes on the mirror, Princess."

Ohhhhh Gabby, this series has a special place in my heart and always will.

“He is good, the kind of man that was made for her, a true fucking angel. Yet our girl fell for the devils instead, and now she gets to live in hell with all of us.”

Thankfully after the cliffhanger from book 3 we dive straight into what’s going on. After everything that happens at the end of book 3 the crows they’re back together and trying to tie up all the loose ends.

I love Rebecca so much, she’s been through so much throughout this series and she always steps up for her boys and for the MC.

As always my boys are there for their queen, the spice in this book was SOOOOO good. We got our Ezra and Killian scenes and Aiden even decided to have a little taste, if you know what I mean 🫠 they’re everything you want in a why choose, I love them all but Ezra will always have my heart.

“Killian owns my body, Ezra owns my mind, Aiden owns my heart, and all three of them own my soul.”

It was such a bittersweet ending to the series and I’m so exited for what Gabby does next.

I loved this book, it truly completes the series with a bang (well many bangs 😏😏). Rebecca and her Crows find out that the Mayor really isn’t dead, there’s a mess with a Crow member, who is the actual mole, and how the hell they’re all going to survive the wrath of the Mayor Carter. There’s so much love, guilt, pain, suffering, abuse, and family within this book. We see the deliscious characters of Angel and Blade (I need their books so badly). I’m also intrigued by a bunch of Elle King’s men, especislly Asher. Rebecca and her men are finally figuring out how to all be together and to trust/love one another. The four of them are off the charts hot together. The writing is fantastic, and this conclusion is wonderful - however, I never wanted this series to end. I’m hoping we see everyone in other books….maybe a baby or four! I especially cried at parts that involved Connor communicating with Rebecca. This book is dark and has quite a few triggers, but is such a great ride.

I gave 4 stars to the end of this entire series for a few things. It was a little hard to finish this book for me, I sat on it for like 4 days because the content was just getting…boring. In my opinion, this series could have been finished in 3 books. I don’t think the little side story was even needed considering it didn’t contribute to the main plot involving Carter. I felt the beginning of this book had too much fluff which was what really prevented me from finishing it faster than I usually would have. Nonetheless, it was a good ending! I was happy to see Carter get what he deserved and Rebecca finally find some sort of peace after the abuse she suffered during and after her time with Carter. The author herself is really great, the only thing I wished I did was read Elle Kings story first. Yes they are independent but I was extremely confused when she made an appearance in the first book and everyone knew exactly who she was except for me. Overall I would recommend this series

Amazing! Sad The Series Is Over

This series shook me to my core. I cried, I yelled, I laughed and I cried some more. I’m so sad for this series to end. Having really fell hard for Rebecca, Aiden, Ezra and Killian! This series takes you on so many emotional journeys. But this book wrapped it up so perfectly. You were left with your heart stomped on in and this story you get the answers all wrapped up to the puzzles you been left with. Plus you get so much more.

Literally Rebecca is the calm to the chaos in these stories. She is brave and fierce. I will miss her and her Crows very much. I loved this series so much. I loved Elle and the Black Hallow gang intertwined in this story. I love the writing, I love the mystery and I especially love the character connections. Amazing!

All in all the story could have been shorter and with less twists and turns
You see, there’s nothing wrong with writing a 4 book long RH but if the whole plot is revolved around 1 villain who comes back again and again and doesn’t die until the very end, there’s nothing wrong story looses its spark. Now i’ve read a few books where this strategy worked out but then for me, there was no balance here.
I seriously didn’t see much chemistry or connection between the characters. They were either plotting against Carter (the villain) or fucking each other.
There was just too much going on all the time. We saw Becca fighting against Carter till the very end but i would have appreciated some chapters of her life after he died.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5

TW - sexual assault, graphic violence, PTSD, mental abuse, physical abuse, nightmares, panic attacks (mentioned), death of a parent
CW - knife play, blood play, humiliation, degradation,

Tropes - reverse harem - MMFM, MC, friends to enemies to lovers, betrayal, mental health, dark, obsessed / possessive / jealous characters, found family

Wow.

This book was a RIDE. I'm sad to be saying bye to the Crows but I loved and really enjoyed the way this book played out.

Rebecca O'Sullivan
The Queen of the Hallowed Crows MC is strong. She has displayed her strength throughout the entirety of the series despite everything she has been through and continues to go through throughout these 4 books. You can see that she is starting to find her strength with the rest of the Crows by her side and it is really good seeing her come out on the other side of this with her head held high.

Aiden Graves
The President of the Hallowed Crows MC showed character growth in this book! Aiden being able to be vulnerable with Kill, E and Rebecca and even showing the rest of the Crows this vulnerability pulled at my heart. Aiden really showed Rebecca what she means to him in this book. He has learnt a lot of lessons in this series, namely what Rebecca needs from them all and how to protect her. He really has become a Prez Connor would be proud of.

Killian Drake
My fav member of the RH. Like I said in my Disloyal review, enforcers really do it for me and Number 1 on that list is Kill. Kill is sweet for E and Rebecca and it is a stark contrast to how he is when he is presenting himself as The Enforcer of The Hallowed Crows MC. He knows exactly when he is needed and what he has to do in situations where his family is threatened and he proved that 100000x over in this book. The love he has for E and Rebecca, and even Aiden, is unmatched.

Ezra Bishop
The Vice President is needed just as much as The Prez and The Enforcer. E knows what Kill and Rebecca need and is always happy to give it to them the same way they are for him. I enjoyed E's character in this book, working through the ending of Disloyal and showing his unwavering support of Rebecca was so nice to see. For me, E is the glue that keeps them connected with his support, his trust, and his jokes to lighten the mood when they're in the middle of a storm.

Angel [last name redacted]
Angel's story, mainly in this book and the last, is a hard one; as it always is with unrequited love but he never faltered. He was there for Rebecca when she needed it even if it was hurting him. It was clear that she needed his support just as much as she needed the other Crows. Angel was a very important character in this story and people should not lose sight of that. His support for Rebecca and his connections allowed the story to be played out the way it did and without it, I really don't know what would have happened.
It was nice to see him and Rebecca start to repair their friendship even if it isn't exactly the same as it was before.
Angel lived as Ghost in this book and I hope G.N. Wright gives us his story in the world he's now immersed in.

Carter Fitzgerald
The ex Mayor of Black Hallows spiralled in this book. He was desperate and clutching at straws as if he knew he was going to be meeting his end soon. I think if you read this series, you know that there is something inherently wrong with Carter and the only solution is him meeting his end. I imagine we are all excited to see it and have fantasised and thought about the torture that he should have to endure due to what he has put countless people through in the name of obsession and entitlement.
The solution found in this book may not have been the one I envisioned but it was still perfect for me. I was satisfied with it and literally wasn't breathing for that section of the book.

The Smut
I don't see myself recovering from this lmao 💦.

I'm so glad that I picked up Distrust last year and got to meet the Crows because I truly loved every single one of these books and I'm excited for the next series G.N. Wright graces us with.

Scale:
⭐️ - would've DNF'ed / continued out of spite
⭐️⭐️ - shit, but whatever
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - meh, could've been better
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - lit 👅
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - loved it, inject this shit into my veins 🤪

🫑 - no smut
🌶 - no point
🌶🌶 - mediocre at best
🌶🌶🌶 - standard smut, hot
🌶🌶🌶🌶 - 🥵 okay, some CW
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 - fuck me 🥵🥵 CWs / filthy with a side of filth - see Poison / Room Twenty-Two: Hide and Seek

Loved It! 🖤

Loved this final book in the Hallowed Crows Series. Loved how strong Rebecca was and loved the way Aiden, Ezra, and Killian were with her. This book had everything that I love in an MC book. Plenty heat, emotion, and badassery moments. Couldn't put it down!! Great ending, too. Also would love Angel to get his HEA.

This book brings things to an end in a good way. Are the foursome a bit of a hot mess, yes, but they are in a controlled way that they all thrive on. They are fulling in control of their lives, having finally vanquished the evil that has loomed over them all for 2 years. It was nice to see the club building something new in this aftermath, yet still give a nod to the past.

Disarray

I really enjoyed this series and it was great to finally see them free of Carter. For me, sadly, I found a Disarray to be very repetitive and it dragged on. I just could not get into it and admittedly I did skip a lot of the book.

3.5 stars. Really I felt like the series could have been one less book and it would've been great, maybe compress some of these events into the other books, it just felt like we were on this long journey of finding this guy for awhile. And I feel like it took me forever to read. Maybe just right book, wrong time? Who knows. It was a good series overall though.

The Hallowed Crowes MC by G.N. Wright

Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

So I’m going to lump my review for the whole series into one because it’s basically one story, spread out over 4 books. Objectively speaking, the books are fine. They bring a heck of a lot of spice, but there is this weird obsession with cutting each other with knives while hooking up? Idk, to each their own, but like 75% of the time they were cutting each other. Anyway, the whole series starts with Rebecca turning 18. Her dad is the president of the Crowes Motorcycle Club. His 3 right-hand men are Aiden, Killian, and Ezra. Rebecca has loved them since she was 14, and now that she’s legal, she’s determined to have them take her virginity. All of them. At the same time. For her first time. So the prologue is just one big hookup because Ezra and Killian are also together. Anyway, the next morning, the boys are gone, and she’s devastated.

She ends up kidnapped by the Mayor for 2 years. The guys think she went willingly, but she’s locked in a cage. Now, she's back, and they are mad. Her dad is dead, Aiden is the new Prez, and they want her gone. But you see, her dad left everything to her. She doesn’t know that, but they do. It’s messy. So the rest of book 1 is them mad at her, but she starts to realize she’s still in danger, and she’s also still trying to heal. Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger of ‘Oh crap, who is dead’.

And now she’s kidnapped again. But this time by her own people. Oh, and this woman named Elle King saves her constantly. Like all the time. She actually saves all of them all the time. They are pretty much helpless at every turn and need her to come to their rescue. So Rebecca is free. The men now believe her she wasn’t with the Mayor willingly, well, they kind of do. But they are still mad. And oh crap, they realize she’s still in danger. So now they have to run away. Which is really stupid because obviously, she ends up, yup, you guessed it, kidnapped again. But this time, there are other people with her.

Enter some random guy named Blade. He comes in with a Bazooka and just walks around wanting to blow sh*t up. He’s unhinged and doesn’t care because he gets sh*t done. So they are saved again. But what do you know, they are still being watched. How can that be? The Mayor is dead!?! Well, enter the FBI. Because why not! Club gets blown up, people get arrested, they get released, they have s*x each time another one gets released, and then yuuuup, you guessed it, Rebecca gets kidnapped again.

Basically, girl has s*x, girl gets kidnapped, girl gets saved, girl has s*x. Rinse and repeat.

Again, these books are fine. If you want some insane and taboo spice mixed with a little bit of non-consent stuff(not for me), you’ll enjoy these books. I wish it were basically one slightly longer than average book, and then I would have loved it.
