Thoughts
Life is messy, it just is. Things happen, life’s path is not a straight line- the pandemic, job loss, loss of a loved one, love, break ups and babies… they happen. The author takes us on the journey of MC’s Anna and Darren. They are happily in love and committed to each other until they are not. Their story is relatable, genuine, and honest. The pandemic changed their life’s path. I empathized with Anna, and I could appreciate Darren’s perspective . Heslop captures every moment of heartache, regret, self doubt, and the unknown- and how these all feed into our insecurities- shaping the choices we make.
Overall
An emotional read about sacrifice, resilience and loves ability to endure.
