Mountain man Jensen (H) shares a close friendship with Courtney (h) who runs a women’s shelter. He finds himself drawn to her even though they both worry that anything more than friendship could damage his relationship with his twin brother, Jonas, who was once Courtney’s high school boyfriend. Things heat up between Jensen and Courtney, and they’ll have to deal with a fired-up Jonas. Jensen is really supportive and understanding of Courtney’s work, both emotionally and physically. Lovely mountain man romance with a bit of danger, some emotional angst, and a side of heat.

I've enjoyed the other books in this series but this one feels rushed. Doesn't flow smoothly and jumps around.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Jensen and Courtney have known each other for a while, she's his twin brother's ex-girlfriend. Courtney and Jensen twin Jonas July is for Jonas dated in high School but went their separate ways when they went off to college. Four years later Courtney comes back to Mustang Mountain and starts working at the women's shelter. Jenson is with the Mustang Mountain Men MC so whenever a women needs help they're there to lend a hand. Jensen and Jonas are at his Aunt Ruby and Uncle Orville having Sunday dinner when they get the call from Courtney she needs their help with an unsafe situation. Jensen just found out he was made Man of the Month for June by his Aunt Ruby but doesn't have time to confront her. Jensen, Jonas and a few of the other Men of Mustang Mountain MC help the woman and her daughter get safely to the shelter. Jensen and Courtney have lunch to make plans for an outing for the woman and their kids at the shelter. Courtney likes to arrive early so that she can watch Jensen walk into the diner in town. Over lunch Courtney tells Jensen about the Renaissance fair she would like to take the woman and kids. Jensen tells her that she'll have the whole MC club as security. Even though Courtney has feelings for Jensen she know nothing can be done since she dated his brother in high school. Jensen promised one of the boys at the shelter a hike in the woods for his birthday, so Courtney asks him if he forgot. Jensen lets her know that he's already hiked the trail making sure it's ready. When Courtney gets home she finishes packing for her hiking trip with Jensen. Their hiking trip is cut short when a rain storm hit and Jensen can't ride his bike back up the mountain to his cabin he shares with his brother Jonas. Jensen cooks dinner for Courtney so that she can relax. Courtney asks Jensen where'd he learn to cook and he tells her about his time with his parents in the commune. Then his aunt Ruby and Uncle Orville took them in. Courtney and Jensen talk about when she went to college and found herself in a bad relationship need a woman's shelter. It's what brought her back wanting to work with the one in Mustang Mountain. After dinner Jensen shows Courtney a card game his mother taught him to play. They laugh and have a good time and play into the night. When they head to bed, Jensen pulls her in for a hug. This hug feels different, it last longer than normal. When they pull apart they kiss, when a notification goes off on Jensen phone they pull apart. Courtney doesn't want to hear what a mistake the kiss was so she heads to bed. Courtney lays in bed with thoughts of Jensen, she knows there's an attraction between them. When Jensen gets back to his cabin he shares with his brother Jonas, he finds him sitting by the fire. Jensen's brother asks him where he was, so he tells his brother about the weather and how he stayed at Courtney's. Jensen heads off to get ready for the Renaissance Fair. When they met Courtney at their meeting spot she waves to them and they head off following the bus. As they approach the entrance they can feel the excitement amongst the kids. Aunt Ruby and Uncle Orville greet them at the gate, they always support Jensen and Jonas when they can. They separate into groups, with Courtney and Jensen are a few kids, as they walk the fair and take in the sights. Uncle Orville asks Jensen if there's something on his mind, but he tells his uncle that it's not something he wants to talk about and have spread all over Mustang Mountain. Uncle Orville tells Jensen that he learned a long time ago not to tell Aunt Ruby everything going on, but if he ever needs to talk he's here for him. Courtney watches Jensen interact with the kids makes her attraction to him grow. One of the women from the group calls to Courtney and tells her she sees her ex, so she tells Jensen they needs to get everyone out. Jensen and Jonas fly into action, sending out text to everyone. Each group slowly starts making their way out to the bus as to not draw attention. After everyone is on the bus Courtney pauses to stare at all the Mustang Mountain riders that surround the bus. The bus pulls away with the guys surrounding them, Courtney keeps herself busy so she's not thinking about Jensen. Once back at the shelter, they all head inside, talking about what a great time they all had. When everyone is settled Courtney gathers her things to head home, thankfully there's leftovers from the other night she can warm up. When Jensen gets home he realizes the stuffed animal he won for one of the kids is still in his jacket pocket. Before he knows it Jensen's jacket is back on and he head to his truck. Jensen climbs the steps and knocks on her door, a moment later she stands in front of him. Jensen tells her he found the wolf in his pocket and tells her he thought she could give it back tomorrow. When Courtney reaches for the stuffed animal electricity shoot through both of their bodies. Jensen asks her if there's anything left between her and Jonas, she tells him no there hasn't been in a really long time. Jensen closes the distance between them and pulls her into his arms. They begin kissing, for years he's wanted to feel her every curve, wanted to get his hands on her, it's as if he's waited for this moment for his entire life. Jensen lifts her up and carries her to her bedroom. They strip each other of their clothes, then he pleasures her and they make love. They spend most of the night making love, getting to know one another. The moment is shattered by the ring of a phone. Jensen reaches for his phone and Courtney can tell something is wrong. Jensen tells Courtney his dad got into a fight, with a stranger who he swears is following him. Courtney tells Jensen she's going with him, he tells her to stay but she tells him she's trained in deescalating a situation like this. After they dress they hop on his motorcycle and race down the mountain. When they step into the commune it's like a whole other world. They head to Jensen's parents home, and they find his dad who tells Jensen this man needs to go. His dad tells him no one will listen to him, then Jonas walks up to the crowd. Jonas asks the man who he is, then tells the man he should leave. The man tells them they don't need outsiders, Courtney tells Jonas to help with his dad and she'll handle the man. Courtney starts talking to the man, but he doesn't want to talk to her he asks if he can change his clothes. Courtney allows him, but Jonas tells her there's something not right. Jensen introduces Courtney to his parents, and they talk about the women's shelter and the work she's been doing. Jensen, Jonas and Courtney step outside and talk about the man, but soon they see him running towards the woods. All three of them take off after the man, when they catch him Jonas tackling the man. Jensen is right there to help pin him down, the man tells them they don't have a right to do this, and they asks him why did he run. The man tells them he doesn't want to deal with them, Courtney tells him that Jensen and Jonas are family here and she's trying to help. When the man starts talking, he tells them everything they need to know about him. Jensen slams the guy to the ground which causes Jonas to loose his grip, it's enough fro the man to get up and run. Courtney follows Jensen and Jonas until they've stopped and she runs right into them. Courtney hears a deafening roar echoing through the tree and the man screams. Courtney tries to step around Jensen but he stops her, and turns her burying her face into his chest. Jensen tells Courtney not to look she doesn't want to see this. Jensen and Jonas slowly backing them up into the woods. Jonas tells them to cover their ears and fires a gunshot in the air. Courtney tries to ask but can't get the words out, Jonas tells her the man is dead. They all head back to the commune, Courtney starts to feel cold and numb. When her vision starts to blur, panic starts to well up inside of her her and she realizes she's going into shock. Courtney calls out to Jensen, who picks her up when he realizes she's going into shock. Jensen tells her to breathe as they head back to their parents cabin. Jensen sits with Courtney on the couch people are talking all around but she can't hear much. When Courtney wakes up she can feel Jensen rubbing her back, he tells her his mom made some food. They stay and have lunch and Jonas talks to the cops. Jensen suggest they head home but his mom wants to talk to Courtney while he talks to his dad. Jensen's mom gives Courtney a little satchel with little pink, white, purple and red crystals. Jensen's mom tells her everyone can see how happy her and Jensen are. When they arrive at Courtney's place Jensen asks her if they can talk. Jensen tells her last nigh was amazing but they crossed a line and it was a mistake. Jensen tells her he can't hurt Jonas, and his loyalty to the club won't allow it. Courtney tells Jensen she gets it, she's not saying she likes it but she gets it and wont' hold it against him, but she doesn't want to lose their friendship. Jensen tells her he doesn't want to lose their friendship either. Jensen heads home to find Jonas but he's not there, so he heads to their hiking shop but he doesn't find him there. Jensen heads to the club and finds his brother sitting at the bar, he sits down right next to his brother. Jonas doesn't look at Jensen when he tells him he's not mad at him and Courtney being together, he thought for years they'd make a great couple. Jonas tells Jensen that he expected it something were to happen they'd come to him and tell him, he's his brother, why would he keep something like this from him. Jensen tells Jonas he's his brother and she's his ex so he alway thought she was off limits. For a long time Jensen suppressed his feelings for Courtney, but last night they both got caught up in each other. Jonas tells Jensen that if he had feeling for her he should have come and talk to him. Jensen tells Jonas he didn't know if he still had feeling for her and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt him. Jonas tells Jensen he doesn't have feelings for her and he would have found out if he would have talked to him, what hurt him was his own brother lying to him and keeping this from him, him finding out the way he did. Jensen tells Jonas to hit him he knows he wants to. Jonas shakes his head, but Jensen knows his brother and knows he wants to. So Jensen starts to push a few of his buttons, he sees when his brother snaps. Jensen doesn't get any warning, then Jonas's fist connects with his jaw sending him stumbling. Then Jonas stands up and Jensen doesn't move away his fist connects with his temple. Jonas tells him the second one was for egging him on. Then everybody sprints into action. Arms wrap around Jensen pulling him back, Jackson January is for Jackson and Miles March is for Miles get in front of Jonas. Next Jensen has to deal with the club. As Courtney paces around she thinks of everything that has happened. Soon she realizes that Jonas has always wanted Jensen to be happy, he wanted her to be happy too. Courtney heads out stopping by Jensen cabin but doesn't find him there, next she stops at his shop and he's not there. So she heads to the clubhouse, she's never been here. Courtney walks into the club and finds Jensen sitting at the bar with a steak over his eye. Next she spot Jonas with ice on his knuckles. Courtney walks over to Jensen and tells him that's a waste of a perfectly good steak, he could have used a bag of peas that on one would have eaten. The whole room busts into laughter, someone tells her they'll be grilling it up for him when he's done. Courtney tells Jensen that she's not going down without a fight. When she turns to Jonas he tells her he didn't like how he found out, and he wished they would have come and talked to him sooner. Jonas isn't stopping them and not going to get in there way, because everyone in town knows they're meant to be together. Jonas tells her but he better not be the last to find out about other important news. Whether it's about a wedding, babies or whatever the future brings, he better be the first. Jensen stand up putting the steak on the bar he walks to Courtney and drops to one knee. Jensen tells Courtney he's loved her longer than he's willing to admit, she the first person he wants to see in the morning, and the last person he wants to see at night, he loves her, he asks her to marry him. Courtney tells him yes, as people come around them and congratulate them. Jensen tells Courtney they need to tell Aunt Ruby before she finds out another way, so they hope in Jensen's truck. When they tell Aunty Ruby she stares at Courtney's ring. Jensen tells Aunt Ruby it's only temporary, he didn't have time to get a ring. Aunt Ruby stand and leaves, then she comes back into the room. Aunt Ruby tells them this was her mother's ring and she decided a long time ago that whichever one of the twins got married first she would give this to. Aunt Ruby hand Jensen a beautiful antique ring. Then Aunt Ruby tells Jensen to propose properly. So Jensen proposes all over again in front of his Aunt Ruby. They stay and talk to Aunt Ruby for a while before they head back to Courtney's place. They stop by the clubhouse to get Courtney's car but now there's more cars and they're blocking her in. When they get inside they find out the guys are throwing them a big engagement party. Seeing as how easily Courtney fits into Jensen's life he's not sure why he waited so long, but now he's glad they got here.

This was a quick read. There were a number of things that didn't make sense to me or I expected more details.

I understood the hesitancy between Jensen and Courtney starting a relationship. I didn't understand Jonas being angry. Why would Jensen tell him anything when he wasn't sure about Courtney? When he found out she felt the same, did he really expect Jensen to make him his first call with the information? They got caught up with the Lou situation before Jensen could say anything.

Regarding the Lou situation, I don't even understand why that was included. Did I miss something earlier where it was determined Jensen and Jonas' Dad had dementia? Were they taking the word of one person? How did their mother not know what was going on? What exactly was Lou doing and how was he going about it?

Next, the woman who saw her ex. What was the point? Just so everyone could leave? Couldn't they have ended the day without that happening?

I was confused when Jensen and Courtney were at her cabin. The reason for that situation was not provided until the following chapter. I kept rereading trying to figure out why it was necessary. Finally, I moved on to the next chapter and the explanation was given. Maybe I am the only one who found the order of details to be confusing.

What did either of these characters look like? Tall? Short? Hair color? Eye Color? Fair complexion? Tan? Ruddy? The only reason I knew Courtney was a curvy girl involved was because it was part of the title. There was one mention of Jensen as a big, muscled, tattooed biker guy. I can't create an image of the characters when I have to use descriptive words in the search feature to try and find out what the characters look like.

I wanted to like this book. Maybe it should not be read as a stand-alone. Maybe these books need to be read in order. I don't know.
I didn't feel a connection with anyone in this book other the Belle, who may have appeared for a third of a chapter, if that much. Too many unanswered questions for me. 2.5 stars.

Another month, another mountain man on the block by Ruby. This time she is after her nephew Jensen. She is going to get her other nephew for July- Jonas. They are part of the Mountain Man MC and they are the ones that help Courtney help women and their children to get to the shelter nearby. Jonas and Jensen are the only ones that actually know where the shelter is in the MC. The rest just act as back up and bodyguards at events and the ‘escapes’. Courtney helps to run it. She used to date Jonas in high school and they broke up when she went away to college. She ended up in a relationship that turned abusive, so she works hard to help others out of that situation. She and they are my heroes.

However, Courtney and Jensen have always been drawn to each other after she returned home. They just never acted on anything. Although, Jensen and Jonas are twins, they are fraternal. The twins still live together. The next outing for the women of the shelter and the kids is for the MC to act as protectors and take them to a Ren Fair. Totally cool. I really enjoyed the description of all that was going on in there. I’ve never been to one, but have always wished to go. Hades, the group’s ‘adopted’ wolf, always shows up and watches over the women and the guys whenever it is needed. He just innately knows, which makes me love him! One of the women’s husband ended up there and the MC helped get everyone back home and safe. My stomach still hurts seeing that.

We also get to see how Jonas and Jensen grew up and they still help out. Ruby is a riot as is her husband, Orville. I really like that family and enjoyed the book. I can’t wait to read Jonas’ book and Ace’s in August.

Old friends Jensen and Courtney have become very close since he helps assist her in running the women’s shelter. They both have developed deep feelings for the other. Too bad they both feel the other is off-limits since she dated Jensen’s twin brother, Jonas, in high school. Jensen doesn’t want to lose the closeness of his twin. Courtney doesn’t want to strain their relationship and would never want Jensen to have to choose between Jonas or her. Instead of talking with Jonas, they dance around their feelings and attraction, trying to ignore it. Until they end up giving in one night. But before they can tell Jonas, he figures out they’re together for himself, causing a rift between the two brothers. Is it possible for Jensen to keep his close relationship with his twin brother and still have his happiness with Courtney?
This was a sweet, steamy, and quick read with a little bit of drama/angst and a hea. The whole scenario with the commune/possible dad with dementia/Lou didn’t feel very congruent with the rest of the book but I wasn’t up in arms about it like others were.

That epilogue has me really excited about serial dater Jonas’ upcoming book!.

Sorting Things Out . . .

Jensen and Courtney have known each other for some time. She had formerly dated his twin brother, Jonas. Jensen and Courtney begin to feel an attraction for each other. At this point, they should both be happy and start their relationship since both are unattached and not with anyone else. Jonas had been a high school love – he hasn’t permanently branded her as off-limits to the world because they dated. If they feel “guilty”, although they have no reason to do so, they should have chatted with him and told him they were giving a romance a try. Instead, Jonas discovers their “treachery” in falling for each other and has a snit-fit.

So my take on this situation is: If the characters are all adults, the sibling who is no longer dating his EX-girlfriend should have no more say in whether she dates his twin brother or anyone else he knows. Communication in any relationship is what keeps it healthy. And fear of losing a friendship is a weak excuse for not opening up and being honest. Anyway, I would love to see some new clever ways of presenting these stories so we don’t think we have already read this book a dozen times. It was done well, but overuse of the trope dulls its impact.

I really enjoyed this shorter story. It has everything you want in a romance minus the extra, often unnecessary, descriptions. Jensen, a former member of the military, belongs to the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain motorcycle club. The club cares for the mountain community and Jensen’s main interest is the women’s shelter, or maybe it’s Courtney who works at the shelter. Courtney knows what it is like to escape an abusive situation and the shelter provides women and children protection and a chance for a better, safer life. There is an attraction between Jensen and Courtney, but they are hesitant to act on their feelings as in high school she briefly dated Jonas, Jensen’s twin brother. Will Jonas be able to accept their relationship? Will Jensen and Courtney finally realize that what they have is too precious to give up on? The update of several precious characters adds to the “family” feel of this series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Jensen and Courtney have long been attracted to each other and have harboured much deeper feelings that they have fought to deny even to themselves. As his twin brother’s ex, Jensen knows a relationship other than friendship with Courtney is off limits or taboo. His Aunt Ruby may have listed him as Mustang Mountain’s Mountain Man of the Month for June, but he is not interested in forging a romantic relationship with any other woman. A stolen kiss in a weak moment leads to each of them fantasizing about something more between them, a future together. Call it fate, divine intervention or even some mountain magic, but a sudden storm leads Jensen to spending a night at Courtney’s place and their desire for each other is unleashed. In the light of day, will guilt and loyalty to his brother keep them apart? Can they go back to being just friends? Could a happily ever after be a possibility for them?.

His Patience Finally Paid Off -
Courtney and Jensen were very good friends who were intensely attracted to each other, but never pursued a relationship, as she was his twin brother’s ex-girlfriend. Working together to rescue the battered women and their children was enough of a fulfilling experience for them. However, they engaged in one night of pleasures when the sparks between them exploded, but reality crept up in the morning.

Unfortunately, Jensen’s brother discovered their secret before they could tell him, but they were really shocked with his response. This story was very inspirational and enjoyable to read. It grabbed hold of me from the beginning and refused to let me go, until I reached the end. The storyline dealt with some important issues, that combined with the awesome characters and woven beautifully into the story. It is a definite must read book.

Jensen and his twin brother Jonas always have Sunday night dinner with his Aunt Ruby and Uncle Orville. Aunt Ruby is on a crusade to get all the mountain men married off. On the town tourism website, Ruby has made Jensen the Mustang Mountain’s Mountain Man of the Month for June.

Courtney runs the women’s shelter. Jensen and his MC brothers provide help if Courtney needs to get a woman and her children out of a dangerous situation. Only Jensen and Jonas actually know where the shelter is located.

Jensen likes Courtney but she is off limits because she dated Jonas in high school.

Do Courtney and/or Jonas still have romantic feelings about each other? Will Jensen give in to his feelings? How will Jonas react?

I am really liking these Mountain Man of the Month stories. I can’t wait for Jonas’ story.

I enjoyed this story with all of the characters within. The main two characters were Jensen and Courtney.

Courtney is a feisty advocate for the women's shelter that she work at. While on a mission to help a lady and her kids get to safety she see her ex- boyfriend twin brother. He is also help them.

Jensen is with a group of bikers that help with the local women's shelter to help protect them while they get women and children to safety. While on a mission he see his twin brother's ex-girlfriend.  He has been wrestle with his feeling for her for a while now.  He has decided that she must be off limits to him. But when she asks him to come into her home after a mission to talk he is surprised.

This was a fun story to read. It had action, adventure, suspense throughout. It had a few giggles within. It does had some steamy parts.

I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout. This is my honest unbiased opinions.

This is book six in The Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain Series and it is Jensen and Courtney’s story. Jensen and Courtney are best friends and even though they are attracted to each other neither can do anything about it as she used to be Jensen’s brother Jonas girlfriend making any type of relationship off limits until they spend one explosive night together giving in too how they feel but all it does is complicate things even more because it could ruin Jensen and his twin brother Jonas relationship so what will the outcome be for them all in the end. I really enjoyed reading this book and even though it is a short story it still packs a punch and I was unable to put it down and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Aunt Ruby has decided that Jensen is going to be matched in June, she's on a kissing to get all the batchelors settled down. Jensen isn't too keen! He's part of a motorcycle group who do good deeds, Courtney, his twin's ex, runs a shelter for abused women and children, he's very attracted to her but won't break the 'bro' code, except it's getting very difficult to keep away from her, especially when he's getting more and more attracted and she appears to fancy him too!
Neither of them want to upset Jonas but haven't had the opportunity to talk to him about their relationship.

The men on the mountain are back and Aunt Ruby is match making. Jensen and his twin Jonas are living the single man life. They have work and the MC club; they also have many extracurricular activities such as helping whenever needed at the women's shelter. They help the women and children with safe transport to the facility. Jensen is only interested in one woman, and he considers her off limits. Courtney dated his brother in high school but that was ended without problem. Courtney has always had those butterflies when she sees Jensen but is it really an out of reach off limits relationship! Soon the time they spend together becomes more than either could deny! This couple is sweet, have great chemistry and are going to heat up the cabin in the mountains.

Will they ever be "in limits"

June is for Jensen is the sixth book in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. This month Ruby has decided that one of her twin nephews is to be the next bachelor of the month. Thus Jensen, a confirmed bachelor, finds himself on the market. But Jensen has a secret.....he has been in love with only one woman for years. The problem is that she is off limits, as she is his brother's ex-girlfriend from high school. Will that little issue ever go away or will Jensen just have to finally man-up and go after his own HEA?
I really enjoyed Courtney and Jensen's romance. It has longing, feelings, some action, a lot of entertaining and some smexy hot fun.

Jensen is attracted to his brother Jonas’ ex. He’s doesn’t pursue anything with her as it feels like he’s betraying his twin. Lately the chemistry between himself and Courtney has been getting stronger and he feels like things are going to implode. Courtney has been trying to deny her growing feelings for Jensen. He’s always there for her and ready to help her with any emergency that arises at the women’s shelter. Unfortunately by acting on her feeling she could with lose her friendship with Jensen and create a right between the brothers. There were some spots where it didn’t make sense, or was explained later on. Overall a quick enjoyable read. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Courtney, Jensen and Jonas have been friends for years. Courtney, at one time, dated Jonas while in high school but when college came around, they went their separate ways. Now, Courtney and Jensen are trying to hide their attraction to each other to no avail. Can either of them walk away after spending one night together? Will Jonas approve of them being a couple or will it ruin the brotherly relationship?

This was a great story. It was well-written, wonderful characters and had plenty of twists and passion. Highly recommend not only this book, but the whole series.

Courtney, the female lead, dated the twin brother of Jensen, the male lead, when they were in high school. They broke up amicably when they went to college but concern over his feelings stops either lead character from initiating a relationship now, until emotions boil over. Can they make this work?

This short story is dual POV, and a sweet and sexy romance. Whilst simply written, the characters’ exploration of their feelings both separately and together made for an interesting story, with the overarching small town setting and interwoven characters making a fun tale.

Going back to Mustang Mountain! Aunt Ruby is back and this month she’s trying to set her nephew, Jensen, up. “June Is For Jensen” was another great book in this series.
Jensen helps Courtney at her woman’s shelter and has had feelings for her for awhile. Only she’s his twin brother’s ex and doesn’t want to cross the line and risk their relationship. But there’s no denying the chemistry and connection between these two.
I enjoyed this book, and all the books from this series. They’re short and quick reads, but they are all really good. Can’t wait for next month’s man of the month- Jonas! I’m excited for his story.

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation Received from BookSprout 4.5 stars

June is for Jensen by Kaci Rose is book 6 in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series that also includes authors Eve London and Dylann Crush and sure do love these mountain men!

Who is Ruby the town matchmaker’s next bachelor…none other than her nephew Jensen who doesn’t want to be the next Man of the Month but maybe with Courtney that could change except she is his twin Jonas’s ex from high school and he doesn’t want to hurt his brother…

Attraction, off limits, steamy, quick read and more. Ready for more Mountain men stories!

Courtney can always count on Jensen and rest of his MC to help her with women's shelter. Jensen and Courtney were best friends and were attracted to each other except Jensen's twin brother is Courtney's ex. Because of Jensen's brother, they couldn't act on their feelings until first kiss. Things are getting complicated and they are not sure if they can continue to being friends. They will have to figure out where they stand.
This is short story of best friends to lovers. I can't wait to read his twin brother's story.

This was a really good book. I enjoyed Jensen and Courtney together with their wonderful connection and chemistry. Both Courtney and Jensen have been love with each other for years but since Courtney used to date Jonas years ago, they both try to fight their feelings until one rainy night. There is a little bit of d drama but Jensen and Courtney get a great HEA. I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

"June is for Jensen' was captivating. Its page-turning plot was filled with a budding relationship, tension, a little action, and love. Jensen and Courtney, the protagonists, were made for each other; they just hadn't wanted to act on their feelings because Jensen's twin, Jonas, was Courtney's high school sweetheart. One thing led to another. Eventually, Jensen and Courtney tried their best to achieve their HEA. All in all, I liked the narrative as it held my attention throughout.

Not only does Jensen break the taboo by going and falling for his brother's ex, but it's his twin brother to boot. However, thankfully all seems to work out in the end and there never was any real bad blood between the brothers. A mildly gory scene after the group runs out of the commune, so if you're bothered by even mild gore, you might want to skip over that part.

The teaser scene at the end sets up what's bound to be a fun story for Jonas in July's installment.

3.5 stars.

This quick read had likeable characters who had history and good chemistry, there were a few place if I'm honest that didn't seem to flow as well as I would have expected and a couple of things I was a little unclear about. I liked the shared history, the support given, the shared cause and the way a threat was handled. This short story had interesting moments, some angst and drama, family, friends, doubts and of course love.

Ruby has done it again with her June match. This month's match is Jensen and Courtney. Jensen is always there to help Courtney with antything she needs for the Women's shelter. These two have had feelings for each other for awhile but something is standing their way from getting together. Can they get past this obstacle and finally become a couple or not? I really liked this month's match and would definitely recommend it.

This is book number 6 of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series and focuses on Jensen and Courtney. Courtney and Jensen have been friends for years and have wanted each other for a while. They both avoided the attraction and connection they felt towards each because Courtney was Jensen brother's ex-girlfriend from high school. When they finally act on the feelings they had been harboring for each other they go from just friends to forever. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.
