This was an ok read, I did not care for any of the characters, and it was slow paced.

I was waiting for this book to released and well,it turned out to be really disappointing.
Romance was really abrupt and sudden. They broke up in the past and we were told that they were deeply in love at that time. They met again after 10 years and randomly fell back in love within next few days(Few days were actually 4-5 days and they had very few interactions)
Then we have a friend of Abby who suddenly comes and then disappears. We are also told that Abby finally realises that her friend had also been in love with the hero.I have no idea how she came to that conclusion.
Murder mystery is also very flimsy. There is no thrill of what is going to happen next.
Then the book just abruptly comes to an end with a totally out of blue attack on heroine by her mother's killer. The investigation doesnt even start before the killer decides to attack heroine and gets caught. It was so lacklustre.

To conclude, This book had half baked characters and nothing really happened. I felt as if half the story happened in background ,off the page.
The author usually writes great books but I dont know what happened this time.

Story was good but ended abruptly. What happened to her fake bestie and his mom? I can't relate how fall in love few days after ten years gap.
