Portal jumped to an island in a mysterious realm, Elara’s life is saved by Prince Kage, who gets shot in the midst of his valiant efforts. Consciousness slipping, his fading words to her are to find the magical flower that can save him.
Between the foreign terrain and a growing mountain of enemies, Elara faces crushing obstacles. Things are made far worse by her suppressed abilities and increasingly complicated feelings for the prince.
To survive Celestria, Elara must depend on her mortal abilities until she can uncover a way to release her powers.
Jealous maidens. A malicious Avkan king. And a witch in possession of a treasured artifact…
Can Elara find the inner strength required to save herself and the Prince? Or will all that she is be lost to Celestria?
I was born in San Francisco, raised in Maui, Hawaii, and now reside with my husband in Las Vegas. I am a dreamer and caffeine addict who loves to laugh and loves to read to escape reality.
One of my greatest satisfactions is creating fantasy worlds filled with adventure and romance. It is the love and incredible support of my family and fans that keeps me going. One day I hope to uncover my magic wardrobe and ride away on a unicorn. Until then . . . I'll keep writing!
Another Cameo Renae book I couldn't put down and am already craving more. We pick up right where we left off in book 1, with Elara finding some herself in trouble....again. In a genre where we regularly see FMCs either being bad ass or overly dependent, Elara's combination of being a survivor while also showing her vulnerabilities to those she's learning to trust brings a dose of reality to her character.
I always love Renae's attention to small details, like the world map and name pronunciation key, that further pull us into being a part of this new universe and not just an outside observer to the story. Those Forbidden Shadows takes us through a series of harrowing adventures with Elara and Kage, as their connection continues to grow (I'm still wishing this was a why choose/RH with both Rem & Kage). Elara is slowly inching toward getting answers to how her story began, but every new puzzle piece seems to expose a new area of questions.
We leave Elara similar to how we found her...finding more trouble. I'll need to find some good distractions until book 3 arrives (fingers crossed for a book 4 as I'm not ready to say goodbye to this group of characters).
I received an ARC version of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
I cannot believe what I just read! Cameo Renae has outdone herself! I’ve read every book written by her and this series is by far my favorite. Elara and Kage are fated to be together, however there are many obstacles to conquer before they can be reunited or if they can be reunited. I know I’ve finished an amazing book when I love some characters and loathe others.
Cameo writes with such detail but not too much where the story has filler words. I highly recommend this series. You won’t be disappointed.
I will say this is an adult fantasy novel and not recommended for anyone under 17. There are very adult romance scenes and other triggers which she discloses in the first few pages. I don’t know how I will survive waiting for book 3. Happy reading!! ☺️
I'm so sorry, but I could not get in the story. I think I must wait till all books are out and read them together. Because I forgot what happened in book one unfortunately. It's for now 3 stars but when I read it again it could be 5. I'm sorry...
I honestly don't know how authors keep all of the details from one book/characters together. I am in awe.
Book 2 picks up right at the point that Kage rescues Elara. Watching Elara's growth and strength makes me want to help her fight the "mean girls" to achieve her HEA. The love declarations, oh my heart. The spicy scenes with Kage were perfect. I love learning more about the mystery of Elara as clues slowly unfold before us.
Vera and her mother can "kick rocks" as far as I am concerned and I cannot wait for that smack-down. Book 2 ends on a cliffie that makes you scream "no", but alas, wait I must.
Those Forbidden Shadows sucked me in from page one and those pages flew fast. Stunning..
There is a reason I enjoyed reading Young Adult books so much, the author did the parents in before they could try to control the characters lives beyond the age of consent. Books for adult readers don’t have the same compulsion.
Kage was dying. He had brought them to Nether, where Elara could find the flower that would save his life. She would have to face Oren, a carnivorous tree which held the spirit of a child. Here too, she would face the Alena, the witch, who guarded the flower which held the elixir that could save Kage. Willing to pay any price to save him, Elara willingly agreed to the Witch’s demands. Their time in the Nether would be short but allow them time to explore the love they have for each other. Valr, Kage’s Shadow Hawk had found them, while Rem followed closely on his wings. They must return to Celestria or there would be war. Vera and her parents were in Celestria demanding to see Kage to prove that he was not with Elara. Knowing they must hide their feelings for each other or be charged with breaking the marriage contract, made by his father's ill-advised decision, Kage could hardly control his rage. Elara needed to stay away from him for fear of not being able to hide her love for Kage from others. Rem guarded her, while allowing others to believe he and Elara with lovers. Bringing her to train beside the elite guard, she would become one of them. Beloved for her strength, loyalty, determination, and her willingness to stand up for those who had no protection. The guards quickly embraced the strong, caring young woman, protecting her with their lives. But it wasn’t enough, there were those who wanted her dead and would stop at nothing to see that it happened. Vera and her parents were watching, waiting for the moment they would see her dead or find the means to take over Terr.
Kage and Elara prove themselves to be resilient characters in the face of tremendous adversity, dealing with those plotting to separate them, kill them and even one who would capture Elara and enslave her. I loved that Cameo Renee gave us the back stories for secondary characters, so the reader has an even better view of the world Elara has been brought back too. The mystery of Elara’s birth is slowly being peeled away as she learns of the one who brought her to Earth but yet, not why. I loved the fact that the villains aren’t hiding but still manage to work their evil. Even more I enjoyed that Kage refuses to pretend he has ever wanted to marry Vera and now he plainly demonstrations his loathing of the woman, no matter the consequences. By the time I reached the last page, there is still so much left to uncover in this story. If you have ever come to the end of a book and wish that it would go on, this is one to pick up and read. There is so much happening, so many mysteries still not uncovered. I felt like I was in Wonderland where characters of the strange and wonderous appear, villains are standing in plain sight while Elara finds it within herself to keep going. Kage and Elara still hang in the balance, the Emperess’ death and even the death of Kage’s own mother has yet to be answered. With Elara’s magic still bound, she will face the adversity of a world she was born into but never had the chance in which to grow up in. She will confront magical beings fighting for their lives against hers while there are traps set targeting her death. So, looking forward to the next book in the Star Kissed series.
“Do not fear the shadows. Fear those who hide within them. They are watching and waiting, prepared to trample you underfoot.”
Those Forbidden Shadows, the second installment of the Star Kissed series, picks up right where Those Savage Stars leaves Elara’s journey to know who she really is; Prince Kage Dargan of Terr was seriously injured while rescuing Elara from Avka and she needs to find a black lotus, a magical flower guarded by a witch, to heal him. To get it, Elara must have to pay a price that would kill her if she didn’t keep what she promised to Alena, the witch who guards the flowers.
In the healing process, Elara and Kage create a powerful bond as true mates, but there’s a problem: Kage is engaged with the Princess of Asteri, Vera, an arranged marriage he’s trapped in. Vera’s parents wants a piece of Terr and will do anything to put their daughter in the throne. As for Vera, she’s as evil as her parents—she’ll do whatever it takes to eliminate anyone who gets in her way—and if that means killing Elara, then so be it. So when they come back to Terr, Kage and Elara have to be away from each other to avoid disastrous consequences. With the help of some allies—Remington, Naida, the King’s Guard—Elara and Kage will face hard challenges, together and separated.
I’m fascinated with the world Ms. Renae built for this series (thanks for the map, by the way!). Her writing is clever, with lots of personality and meaningful. All the characters are well developed, something I liked a lot. It’s good to see more from some secondary characters without overshadowing the main ones. And it’s good to read more chapters in Kage’s perspective, in comparison with book 1. Still, I crave for more chapters from Remington’s perspective! He deserves it!!
In addition, and this is my humble opinion, I have to say Kage and Elara’s bonding was too long for my liking (half of the book, actually), considering it took only three days for them to create it. The book is still action-packed, which I loved, even in those three days. Another thing I couldn’t pass is how meticulous the author is with details, without leaving loose ends. And that’s a lot to say when you finish a book with THE MOTHER OF ALL CLIFFHANGERS! And I thought book 1’s ending was intense... Looking forward the next installment of the series. Specially with that Hunger-Games-with-steroids vibe this book’s ending has.
ARC given by Cameo Renae via Booksprout in exchange of an honest review. Thanks for your trust.
In another new series, the second book that was recently released of the series was pretty disappointing when placed beside the first book. It seemed that was the consensus amongst other readers. Don’t get me wrong, it was still really good, but it was kind of a let down after the hype of the first. This is something that I’ve seen in other series as well…
But Cameo Renae totally blew me out of the water with book 2 of the Starkissed series and left us wanting more, with…you guessed it, another cliffhanger!
She left us in book 1 with not knowing if Prince Kage was going survive his wounds from Avka, then throws us straight into the action as Elara searches for this mysterious witch with this mysterious magical flower, while running from what seems to be a rabid, carnivorous plant! Turns out, that wicked little plant is one of my new favorite characters and this is my official plea for a spin off with Oren and Alena! Or at least a novella 🙏
There’s a little more spice to this book, a lot more deception, a little revenge, plot twist and then somehow, Cameo makes us hate Princess Vera Eros even more by the end of the epilogue. Like how can we hate this evil Royal anymore? Don’t worry, Cameo will find a way!
We also get more Rem and Maeve and I just love them. They’re perfectly supporting characters! But we also get to meet some new important characters and find out more about who Elara is, or isn’t 🧐
If you haven’t read Those Savage Stars (book 1), go ahead and binge read it so you can hop on into Those Forbidden Shadows, because oh boy, how they are forbidden (in the cave 😉 you’ll see, and then again at the banquet).
I can’t wait to see what trials lay before Elara, and the anxiety Kage is about to go through simultaneously, in book 3! Bring it on Cameo Renae! I’m here for it 🙌
Those Forbidden Shadows is book two of the Star Kissed series and continues where the first book left off. Kage was injured rescuing Elara from Avka and Elara is determined to find the magical flower that will heal him, but at what cost?
In this book, Kage and Elara grow closer even knowing that Kage is trapped in an unwanted betrothal with Vera. Speaking of Vera, she really shows her true colors in this book, but it wasn't like she was hiding them before. I can only hope that she gets what's coming to her in the next book. But enough about her, let's talk more about Kage and Elara. I really like Elara, she's strong and determined with an empathetic heart. Kage is a good match for her and I liked seeing how he lost some of his hard edges around Elara.
Kage and Elara's romance is filled with yearning, stolen moments and danger. They seem to be in an impossible situation but I'm confident that it will work out. There is a lot going on and danger around every corner but Elara is beginning to think of Celestia as home. She becomes more settled and gains some allies but she's still determined to figure out who she is and unlock her powers. In this book she uncovers some things but finds obstacles in her way for others. Her origins are mystery and it seems the more she finds out the more questions there are.
Those Forbidden Shadows is a great addition to the series. It's an engaging and gripping story that leaves you wanting more. Like the first book, this one ends in a cliffhanger. I hope the next book comes out soon.

Another great installment to the series! An amazing romance but with a perfect amount of plot/world-building. I definitely will say this second book is a little more on the romance side; but I really enjoy Kage and Elara so it doesn’t bother me at all. This book starts off right where the second left off. Our FMC finds herself in a sticky situation (as is her MO) and has to save herself and her dark and alluring love interest. I enjoyed the first half a lot and definitely felt the growth between our two main characters. Do I still wish this was a why choose with a certain captain of the guard included?! Of course…but a woman could only dream! We do find some answers on the origin of our FMC, but are also left with a bunch more unanswered questions. I love the mystery of this series but I’m itching to figure out who she is and what her powers truly are. I do love the fact that she is a complete bad ass even without her full powers and continues to throw herself into the action regardless of her set backs. She is extremely loyal to the place she now calls home and the people who are quickly becoming her family. I truly love her as a character! I really enjoy the magic system in the read. Always have loved elemental magic and there’s something about shadow magic that just so sexy haha. The different city’s are all beautiful to read about and I can’t wait to see what The Fates and the Isle of the Beasts brings in the next one! I love a good trial plot line and I know this isn’t going to disappoint!!
This is the 2nd book in the Star Kissed series by Cameo Renae, and the story continues right after the first book finishes, where we find Elara captured and in a really bad state. While I love reading about strong women, which Elara clearly is, I also love the way she is portrayed in these books. She is vulnerable, honest and loyal and she's not ashamed of her strength or her weaknesses, fabulous.
We still don't know who she is, what her powers are, or why they were bound. What we do now know is that she is in some way connected to the murdered Empress and that she is Prince Kage's true mate.
What was really nice to see in this book is how Cameo Renae has taken the time to include a map of Celestria along with pronunciations of names and words used in the text, excellent.
With the connection between Kage and Elara growing, Vile Vera, the king of Avca and the traitorous Seven all wanting Elara dead things do not go well.
We leave Elara at the end of this book as we found her at the beginning. She has got to get through some very difficult trials during the Fates Competition, without any power to help her and 5 opponents all wanying her dead.....
Fantastic storyline, jealousy, intrigue, drama, desperate love, mystery and suspense, strong FMC. This book had me captivated right from the start and I finished it in one day, just couldn't put it down. I seriously cannot wait for the next instalment - fabulous 👍
This is a true opinion of my own.

Those shadows though!!!!! Are you ready?!? The correct answer is YES!! I was already obsessed with this world & everything it held, but this is seriously the icing on the cake …. until that cliff hanger left me aching for more yet to come! Call me greedy, but I need those sprinkles & toppings ASAP!!! 😁 Ok, ok, ok, I will wait, because I know greatness takes time, & Cameo’s greatness is always worth the wait!
If you’re new to this series; prepare yourself for loads of action, drama, & many beautiful moments depicted so fabulously that your heart will quite literally burst with all the emotions she masterfully draws out of us. If you are a returning fan; be prepared to fall harder than you ever have thus far, & know that your fellow heart broken will hear & understand your screams across the realm as we too are screaming right long with you. I have some new favorite characters added to my long list, & of course those we will chant for their undoing as well. Every single moment sent in this world though …. so very worth it!!! 😍
Not a short read by any means yet I finished reading the entire book within hours of receiving it. I simply could not put it down. I even re-read several passages as I was having a bit of a meltdown at the events unraveling before us & just needed a moment … or two … or three. If I haven’t made myself 1,000,000% clear yet … book 3 cannot get in my hands quick enough!!! I NEED it NOW! It will be on the very top of my must haves list until it is in my hands! 😄 Happy reading to all!!!
This book was definitely worth the wait. I absolutely loved it, and I can't wait to read what I hope is the last and final book in this series. I say this because I'm ready to see how everything plays out for everyone in this story as I'm ready for Kage and Elara to get their HEA. They fought a battle against all types of enemies in this one, but no one fought as hard as Elara. She had enemies coming from all sides and seemed to make enemies when she was trying to get people as allies which led to one hell of a story. This story is filled with hate, love, passion, jealousy, lies, loyalty, betrayal, friends, family, lovers, enemies, scheming, threats, deaths, judgement, secrets, survival, trials and more. This story ends with one heck of a cliffhanger and Elara must continue to fight for her survival. After all, she has something and someone to live for. I'm definitely enjoying the relationship between her and Kage but I also love the relationship she has with Rem, Meave, the guards and even the fondness between her and King Kyran. I can't wait until the day that Princess Vera, her parents, the Magistrate, and everyone else who questioned her and tried to kill her gets what they deserve. This series is perfect for paranormal romance readers and is one I'll be recommending to my book loving friends.
Those Forbidden Shadows (Star Kissed #2) follows on from Those Savage Stars and continues the story from when Elara is rescued by Prince Kage Dargan of Terr.
A seriously injured Kage portal jumps with Elara to a secluded island during their escape. Only a magical black lotus flower, which is guarded by a witch, will heal Kage and it will come at a price for Elara.
While on the island and away from the prying eyes of the Court of Celestria Kage and Elara explore their feelings for one another and create a powerful bond as true mates, knowing that once they return to Terr they will have to keep their feeling hidden or face the consequences of Kage breaking the marriage contract between himself and Princess Vera.
Once they return home Kage and Elara face adversity with more than one person trying to kill or enslave them and through it all Elara is resilient, loyal and determined, traits she will definitely need in the next book, especially while her powers are suppressed.
The mystery of Elara’s birth, and who her parents are, is slowly being revealed as this story develops but there’s still more to be uncovered in book three, which I am looking forward to reading.
Once again, Cameo Renae has woven a tale that I found impossible to set aside, leaving me eagerly anticipating more. "Those Forbidden Shadows" seamlessly picks up where the first book left off, offering a continuation of the enthralling journey. Renae's meticulous attention to small details, such as the world map and name pronunciation key, elevates the reading experience, drawing us into this new universe as active participants rather than mere observers.
In this second installment, Elara and Kage navigate a series of harrowing adventures, and their connection deepens with each passing moment. The author's ability to keep track of intricate details across books and characters leaves me in awe. "Those Forbidden Shadows" stands as a stellar addition to the series, delivering an engaging and gripping narrative that leaves you yearning for more.
Similar to its predecessor, this book concludes with a tantalizing cliffhanger, leaving readers hanging on the edge of anticipation. I can only hope that the next installment arrives soon to satisfy the craving for the continuation of this captivating story.

Stuck on a strange world, our heroine struggles to help our hero and keep herself alive at the same time. The planet doesn't make either of those easy and the other people aren't much better. This one is going to be a tough challenge.
This is book two of the series and it picks up right where the previous book ended. This series is best if read in order.
This is a fantasy romance story but with a very unique setting. The story is well written, easy to read and very engaging. I found myself quickly drawn into the story and it was rather difficult to put down for such mundane tasks as sleeping. The characters are well done and I really liked our heroine who is both tough and smart, just the way I like them. The story moves at a good pace and includes a nice blend of action, mystery and romance. Overall, this was a very enjoyable story and I look forward to seeing what comes next.
Highly recommended.

This is the first book I have read from Cameo Renae and I stopped at the end of the first chapter. Temporarily. Because I was so entranced by the writing style and the FMC Elara, that I bought 'Those Savage Stars' which is the first (prior) book in the series.
The writing is so engaging that I didn't want to miss anything and wanted to learn more about Elara before I continued with 'Those Forbidden Shadows'
Elara is an affable, likable FMC and the slow burn with Prince Kage is a nail-biter (Waiting on tenterhooks for book 3!) I actively dislike Vera. She is so well written, that she is a character I would gladly give a stern look at if I ever met her in the street
The worldbuilding is fantastic and Elara's exploration of Celestria and her personal growth is captivating. I am absolutely hooked and ready for book 3

First I want to thank you for the Dedication!! Just so that you know I will probably will stick with you till you stop writing and even after as I will probably continue to read your books over and over again!!! Love ya! P.s. please don’t ever stop writing! Now back to THOSE FORBIDDEN SHADOWS the emotions were on edge on every turn!!! I was thinking on giving the readers a piece of what is in there but I decided not to the only thing I can say is be prepared to have a roller coaster ride thru all emotions!! And with the little piece of spice that Cameo has introduce in this series you’re in for a good one!! Give her a chance you won’t regret it. who does not love fantasy, romance, rivalry, loyalty, romance, friendship, spice and Beast on one story!! Cameo worlds are amazing and well written so much you feel like you are part of the stories. And if you have not read any of her Series than you really missing out!! Just saying
Again with the cliches and plot falling flat. Truly, the ideas the author had are good, but nothing is built enough in my opinion. Instead, they rely on way too many cliches that are annoying. I still don’t like the MMC and stand by my earlier review that the FMC fits better with the best friend… It’s another of those, “I declare you mine so you belong to me and you’ll give me your body and fall for me right away” things…🤮 Yeah, he does save her several times, but IMO, there is no true relationship building happening here. Again, I like the world, I like where the plot COULD go, but it wasn’t done well. And honestly, adding in an over the top mean girl just totally ruins the story… The book once again ends on a big cliff hanger. I feel like I’d probably keep going if the rest of the series was out, because I feel invested in finding out what happens to the FMC at this point, but since it’s an unfinished series, I have a feeling I’ll be forgetting about this one.

This book continues on from book one and the stakes are getting even higher. I liked that Elara and Kage had some time together before everything bad hit the fan yet again! Vera is turning into a great villain - one we all love to hate. Looking forward to book three when hopefully Elara's background will finally be revealed and her powers unleashed.
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
I dived into this book so fast because I had to know what happened from book 1 and I was not disappointed in the slightest! Elara is still a fantastic person who is always looking out for everyone over her own self. She's so powerful without any power at all. She's so cunning and smart and I just adore her so much. Kage and Rem are amazing in their own way and I love their dedication and love for Elara. Maeve is hilarious and I want to be her best friend. And Vera is disgusting and I hope a horrible fate comes to her in the end.
I am so excited for The Hunger Games vibe we will be getting in book 3 with the trials and I cannot wait to see Elara defeat each stage! Very glad I discovered this series and this author and I'm excited to get this book in physical format to join my shrine :)
I devoured this book in one sitting! It jumps right in where the first book left off. This is something I absolutely love when reading a series.
The story and romance were beautifully written. I was submerged into the world and fell madly in love with the characters. Many moments of cheering for my favorites and wishing death upon the not so pleasant ones. I am excited to see how things unfold in the third book yet to be released.
Cameo Renae will be on my list in the future. I enjoyed her written style with the interesting plot and seamless flow. I highly recommend you pick up this series! It is fast-paced, action-packed, just the right amount of romance, and plenty of characters to love as well as despise. Written in a way that captives your heart and mind, you will not be able to put it down.
I loved the first book in this series, and this one was just as good! It kicks off with Elara and Kage just having gotten away from Avka and Kage is injured. Elara has to go find the Nether witch and get a flower that can cure him. On her way, she encounters a sentient and massive tree that tries to eat her but ends up taking her to the witch. She comes to an agreement with the witch for the flower, but the price is extremely steep.
She and Kage spend a few days together and finally give in to their feelings for each other, but once they have to return to Terr, they have to pretend that she is with Rem. Except Kage’s intended is determined to take elara out, however she needs to.
This series is really ramping up and I cant wait to see what happens next!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am really enjoying this series alot! I will say there are too many pages where Elara and Kage’s inner monologue went on and on about how much they love each other. I had to skip some pages as a result. I think Books 1 and 2 set up a lot for the next book in the series but almost too much for this to be just a trilogy. I really thought the plot was going to focus on the dangers threatening Celestria from Avka. Then the author added the mystery surrounding Elara’s background which remains unsolved. Then we have the murders of the Empress and Kage’s mother. Then Elara getting her powers back and releasing the witch from the Nether. And now we have this competition that i’m assuming will take up a large portion of Book 3. So there has to be at least 4 books in this series to do it justice or it will feel rushed. Can’t wait for the next book though!

When I say I devoured this book, doesn’t even come close to how much I was into this story line. Cameo’s writing has captivated my attention since her very first series and since then her characters have captivated my soul.
The story line continues to evolve in ways I did not expect and leave me satisfied yet wanting to know how it’s all going to come together. Book 1 and 2 I have finished in less than 24 hours, completely worth my loss of sleep!
I do not want to spoil anything, so please get your book and do your mind a favor and read this amazing series!!
Now that I just read this whole book in one sitting this morning I'm pretty irritated with myself. It's like I just ate a whole cake on impulse and didn't think to leave any for later. Towards the end of this book absolutely everything is stacked against our MC and I can't wait to see where the author decides to take us. There's been a lot set up for the future of this series and I'm dying for the next installment.
I'm still super curious about the Avkan King. He's vile. Actually, it seems like all the villains are extra nasty and I cannot wait to see Vera, in particular, get hers.
My only complaint is that once things really started picking up, the book was over.
Loved this book, so much so that I'm in limbo waiting for the next installment to curb my addiction re-reading the series to see if I have missed anything while I wait for the next book already have read 6 of this author and highly recommend to anyone who loves magic mystery dark fantasy and escaping to a world where anything is possible. Gripping, magical and totally binge worthy. Just wish I'd waited for the whole collection to be completed as hanging on a thread waiting to know what happens next is giving me anxiety. Falling in love with the characters is easy their fate hanging in the balance torture...need to know what happens next. 5 stars.
Wow what an amazing story with wonderful twists and turns! I fell in love with the dynamic between the characters in book one. The world building and use of magic were perfect for my tastes. There were parts that made me laugh and parts that had me really worried. With book two ending on a cliff hanger, I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us. I am looking forward to spending more time in this amazing world.

An emotional roller coaster from start to finish, Those Forbidden Shadows bring readers right back into the world of the Star Kissed series. Elara is on a mission to save Prince Kage's life after he rescued her. Beyond the adventure side, we still have the mysteries of all Elara can do, and some of those questions are answered while others remain a mystery. The romance definitely kicks up a notch between Elara and Kage, and I cannot wait for more steamy moments between the two. Looks forward to book 3!
Wow, what a wild ride this book was and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The characters are phenomenal and I am glad to read more about Elara and her struggles throughout the book. I also need to know more about Elara too.
The storyline was incredible and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. The story is very well written and has left me with a few questions within the book. All the feels came forth also as I read along. It's got awesome plot twists and a lot of turns I didn't see coming. I am excited to find out more and I highly recommend this read.
this was a great sequel in the Star Kissed series, it had what I enjoyed from the first book. It had that romantasy element that I was looking for and the characters that I enjoyed from the first book. Cameo Renae has a great writing style and I was invested in what was going on in the world. I hope there is a third entry in this series.
