This has been such a help for me as I've been wrapping up the homeschool career of one and continue planning the high-school years for another!

From advice about calculating credits and drafting a transcript, to practical examples of ways we can continue to use and benefit from Charlotte Mason's wise principles throughout the high-school years, Sonya answers oft-asked questions with knowledge, grace, and good sense.

I love the friendly, good-natured tone of her writing and speaking. She seems so kind and has a mentoring quality that I really appreciate. Her materials have been an enormous help to me since discovering them 10+ years ago. She is my go-to CM lady for sure!

And she wins bonus points, in my book, for communicating graciously that college is not the best option for everyone, and that we need to take that into account as we prepare our born persons for their next phase of life. Mentions of apprenticeship, trade school, and military enlistment were really neat, especially because most people with opinions are adamant about college enrollment being the only right/smart next step after high school. We just graduated our military enlistee and prepared his documents with the help of this book, and it was quite encouraging (and refreshing) to encounter such a positive stance on alternative educational/career paths in this book.
