This is the book every girl needs in their life. A book that will help us develop the needed skills to shine in our social circles. From being a perfect host to attending a party, from managing finances to networking, Sana Grover in her book ‘The Glow Up Guide’, grooms us with the tips and advice that will help us in our day-to-day life. From a self-care checklist to things to keep in mind while going on a date to replying to an email appropriately, to fashion tips and carrying ourselves with pride. She shares it all in a candid and fun way making it interesting for the readers.

Well, what Sana shares here is practical and to the point. The way she guides readers is admirable. Her writing style is intriguing and straightforward keeping the readers invested in. What she discusses here is a must for each one of us. It will help us in some or the other ways. She keeps it light, easy and impressive with cute illustrations.

It is an inspiring, thought-provoking and admirable read that every teenager must read. It has lessons which we must learn, the lessons that will become our saviour. The lessons which are basic but important.

Indeed a must-read.

This beautiful book cover says all about the themes of this book. The blurb excited me a lot. While reading this book, I really understood so many things related to the life of women. This book is an all over guide for ladies. Everything related to eating habits, dressing sense, personality development, grooming, hosting parties, how to behave in social gatherings, managing relationships with friends, family and colleagues, self care, table customs, shopping smartly, style guiding, feeling gratitude and being positive in life, these all topics and much more are discussed in the book very effectively. I loved the illustrations and writing style of the author. Sana Grover is one of the youtubers whose content will help you in learning daily life things. I myself have checked her videos and found the content useful. This book could be read multiple times. One must read this book , despite the fact you are in your teenage, youth or old age. This is a practical read. You will get real life lessons. I highly recommend this book to all women readers. I can say this book was well researched and based on the author's personal life experiences or lifestyle. This was one of my best reads of 2024.

The Glow Up Guide: Elegantly Sipping Your Way To Success by Sana Grover is one such book that will make you enhance your personality. How to be presentable, how to write proper invitations, how to communicate and mix with people and how to be a good host. The book has it all covered out.

It is divided into chapters and points which makes it easy for both eyes and mind. Some of these pointers are very generic, but ones we often forget.

I often host meets and sessions, and this book did throw light on many such things that I had been doing ( I'm just so happy 🙈 ) and so many more that now I'm working on. Tips on how to talk at meetings, how to show respect and not cause a miscommunication are somethings we often struggle. There are also proper detailed guidelines on how to write mails, invitations. For a newbie this is such a comfortable source - one that doesn't rush.

Although the book is oriented towards women - most of it's content is helpful for everyone.

3.5 Stars. Medium level information. It gets good with time but sometimes it feels a very surface level and with the tips that many people already know. Maybe I'll read it in the future to remind myself for a few of the basic but essential tips again but that's all.
