My Review:

Katie's Hope (Rhyn Trilogy #2)

This is the second book in Rhyn Trilogy and it is fantastic, I really enjoyed Lizzy’s writing once again. This novel is fast paced and a page turner, omg so much going on. I loved that we find out more about Rhyn and some of his brothers. I don’t think I stopped reading this book till I was at the end. I would say Lizzy Ford out did herself writing Katie’s Hope.

Katie’s Hope starts off 3 weeks after Katie’s Hellion ends, and it appears the Immortals are not going to let go of Katie, Rhyn figures the only way he can help and protect her is by taking his place among the Immortals. I was so mad at how their families treated them it and you wonder how a family could be so horrible. It really made me mad and then I had to remind myself I was reading a book. LOL
There is so much to say and yet I cannot say much without writing a spoiler alert, I will say that you need to read this series and follow Lizzy Ford as she is one fantastic author.

I always say a great author is when the words they write can make you feel true emotions and Lizzy does that in spades. I would recommend this series to any one of my friends.

Fantastic!

For the love of wicked, winged demons, this was a good one! You know when you get so into a book that you have a take a break in the middle of reading it because you feel like you're going to burst into tears or hyperventilate or punch something? Yeah. I had that. Not the punching something, the other two. I was all "Oh, noes! Katie! Don't trust them! No! Run away!" and then I had to go to a quiet corner to compose myself.

*deep breath* So. Good book. You know, if you like to feel your heart in your throat for over half of it. Which, apparently, I do. I'm not going to say I'm surprised at how good this book was but I am surprised at how emotional I got toward the end. Katie and Rhyn have everyone telling them that they're all wrong for one another. They have people tripping over themselves to convince them that the only choice they have is to let one another go. On top of that, they both have the shittiest families ever. I mean, really! Katie's sister is a shallow, power-hungry bitch. All of Rhyn's brothers seem to want him dead or in Hell. Holidays must be a hoot at Chez Immortal.

This book honestly left me tied in emotional knots. I hated the way everyone treated both Katie and Rhyn like their wants were less important than everyone elses. I hated it, but at the same time I respect that both of them are kinda screwed up and they need to see that they are worthy of one another. They have to go through this before they can come out happy on the other side. Still... *whimpers* I feel for those two.

Once again, Lizzy Ford has written an story that captured both my imagination and my heart. I so deperately want these two misfits to find their happy ending that it's ridiculous. Book 3 can't come soon enough.

I didn't talk about Rhyn very much in my first review because I was gushing over Katie:) But hot, dangerous, and damaged plays a really big part in Katie's life. The two of them are perfectly paired, even though they have yet to realize it. Rhyn has lived the better part of his life utterly alone with an amazing amount of power. He was wrongly accused of betraying his brothers and killing Kris's(one of his brothers) supposed mate and is thrown in hell with Sasha(the brother who aligned himself with the dark one). Not that Rhyn is totally innocent by all means. He could have explained to Kris that Lilith(Kris's supposed mate) had given herself over to the Dark One and was seducing all of the brothers and trying to turn them against each other. But Rhyn needs a little help communicating. LOL..He isn't very good at this. Rhyn meets Katie in book 1 while he is trapped in hell. She actually rescues him by knocking out a robed guard and flinging the guards amulet in his direction. Rhyn laughs, crushes the other guards, grabs Katie and claims her as is mate. Oh yeah, Rhyn isn't much on propriety or process but is really big on honor. So no first date or romantic wooing for Katie.

In book 2 we get to know Rhyn and a few of his brothers a little better. There were 7 until the oldest was killed. Sasha is still an traitor and Kris and Rhyn finally come to an uneasy truce. At least they aren't trying to kill each other. Toby, the lovely 5 year old angel(literally an angel) that gave Katie so much grief in book 1 has grown on both of them. As for Gabriel the dark assassin of death, well he still kind of remains a puzzle. Just as his real relationship with Death does. There is a lot that goes on in this book. We have loose ends tied up, questions answered and more formed, and the ending leaves again wondering..WTF is going on? There wasn't as much humor in this book as the first, but it in no way took away from the story. It was an amazing roller coaster ride of adventure, even though in this one you get your heart twisted a lot more. Rhyn is a bit on the wild side but I can definitely see what Katie sees in him. This series is extremely well written and leaves you wanting more!! Lizzy will be with me today and be giving one lucky commenter a copy of the book. Trust me guys, you really don't want to miss out on this series!!!

"You think we'll survive all this?" she asked at last.
"Probably not. As long as I take Kris down with me, I don't give a shit."
She stifled a laugh, and he gave her a sidelong glance.
"I got time if you do," he added. "You can't fuck a man once when he's outta prison and never again."
"You're on probation," she reminded him. "And you're time is running short."
"Got it covered."
"Do you?"
"More or less."
"I'm not convinced."
"Seems stupid for us to stand here when we both want each other so bad," he said. "I thought we were making progress. I was good last night."
"I feel like your life and Toby's and Hannah's would be better without me in it," she said and faced him.
"I think you're afraid. Your life is shitty and you have one good thing going for you. You're the only good part of my life. I assume it's the same for you."
She said nothing at his words, surprised as always at his backhanded compliments and tormented by the knowledge that she had to do something that would hurt them both. He stepped closer until they were toe-to-toe. She craned her head back to hold his silver gaze, a tremor of desire working its way through her.
Maybe tomorrow she'd break it off. She didn't want to lose him just yet.
"I thought I made your life more difficult," she said to keep from falling into a dangerous silence.
"That, too. Your as tough as an egg dropped from a ten-story building. Really hard to rescue. Gets annoying."

2019 (3rd re-read)

I think book 2 is really where this series starts to get good. Nothing is really explained better, or anything like that but the characters are just better by this point. A little more developed. It's this book that I actually start to like Katie, as opposed to not disliking her. Kris is still a dick, but he's getting better. And Hannah I still don't like but at the very least she's more tolerable. I, no surprise, love Rhyn, but he has more of a personality in this one. He has some good lines. And Gabriel, who I always liked, hits a bit of a rough patch, but that's beyond his control.
This picks up about 3 weeks after the last book lets off, and there is a lot going on. Demon fights, more manipulation, sacrifices made, a surprise for Katie and Rhyn… That's all I got in me to talk about, spoilers below…

"I didn't think you could come here," the assassin said.
"The Code says I shouldn't, not that I can't. Important distinction," Rhyn replied and pulled out a chair from the table on which the candle was placed. He straddled the chair and rested his forearms on its back. "You left without saying good-bye."
Gabriel rubbed his face, and Rhyn saw the shadow of stubble the assassin never allowed to grow. Something was really wrong if Gabriel's thousands-year-old habit changed suddenly.
"I didn't have a choice," Gabriel said with some difficulty. "Death owns me now."
Rhyn understood without asking. Gabriel had always been a free man; now the human-turned Immortal was a slave.
"Welcome to my world," he said with a chuckle. "You'll find making friends is hard when everyone hates you."
"I'm beginning to see that. Didn't realize I liked having some sort of free will."
"You still have choices. Just none of them are good."
Gabriel snorted in response.

~

"Megan said you brought the Council together."
"They just needed a little encouragement," he said with a shrug.
"It was a very good thing for you to do."
"Sometimes I get things right."
"You're a better person than I am. I would've let them all go down in flames for how they treated you," she said.
The awkward quiet fell again. He didn't want her storming out as usual when he said something wrong.
"Is it a boy or a girl," he asked at last.
"You don't know anything about this, do you?"
"I assume one day it hatches."
"Hatches?" she echoed, astonished.
"Demons hatch."
"I'm not a demon!"
"It'll be a boy."
"It could be a girl."
"It can't be. Girls can't fight and they just make life really difficult," he snapped. He'd never felt like panicking in his life but in that moment, he almost did. He stood and paced.

~

"I'm going to make sure you and the Council do what it must to protect her and everyone else like her."
Kris looked at his condemned brother anew, not sure how to take Rhyn's newfound intent and resolve. Rhyn's gaze fell to the dagger Andre had carried.
"You don't have the heart or stomach for what that entails."
Kris's face felt warm, but he knew Rhyn was right for once.
"Andre and I were more alike than you know," Rhyn added.
"You were nothing alike. What he did was for the good of Immortals and humans alike," Kris said.
"Right, because killing in cold blood isn't something a Council member does."
"It's not something I do," Kris retorted.
"I will. Whomever you want, and whomever you don't want, I won't."
"You'll take orders from me?"
"On this. On everything else, probably not. But, I'll keep the Council together to protect Katie and our hatchling."
Kris stared at him. "Humans don't hatch," he whispered, not sure what else to say.
"I don't give a shit how it works."
"Dear god, Rhyn!" he said and shook his head. Now he understood Rhyn's powerful motivator, and he was both impressed and horrified.

~

Rhyn watched her approach, his gaze dropping from his foes to her sweet face. Her eyes glowed with emotions he'd been waiting for weeks to see. He wanted to sweep her away for one more intimate moment before his death but he doubted the assassin and demon would wait.
"This is the stupidest thing you've ever done," she said.
"Letting you go was the stupidest thing. I'm doing something right for once," he replied, glancing a Darkyn as the demon shifted.
"They'll kill you," she whispered.
"If they do, go with Gabriel. Death's a bitch, but she's better than Hell."
"This isn't right," she whispered. Her eyes watered, and he marveled once again at how a half-demon fuck-up had almost ended up with such a beautiful creature. He cupped one soft cheek and wiped away a hot tear with his thumb.
"I'm not dead yet," he said, amused and touched by her tears. She wrapped her arms around him, and he pulled her close. Her small body molded against his.
"Can't we just run away, right now? Turn into a bird and carry me with you?" she asked, desperation in her voice.
"Even if we did, they'd both come after us."
"You can go. I'd rather know your safe than live without you."
"No, Katie," he said, his world clear for the first time in his life. "I know where I belong, and it's right here with you. I have to make things right. I couldn't live if I lost you."
"Katie," Gabriel called.
"Rhyn, I love you," she said.
"I know." He forced himself to withdraw. He gave her one last, long look and pushed her hair from her face. With a kiss on her forehead, he stepped away.

~

She rose and tested her legs. She felt weak, but she was alive. Sorta. Her heart ached for Rhyn. Even though she stood in Death's realm with a slim chance of ever seeing the blue sky again, her life had never seemed so clear to her. She'd faced Hell, and now Death. There was nothing else to fear.
"C'mon," Gabriel said and whipped the door open. "This won't be easy."

“Katie’s Hellion” was, as first books in series usually are, more of an introduction into this fantasy world, though one very full of action. “Katie’s Hope” picks up the adventures of Katie and Rhyn right from where the first novel ended. The roles are reversed this time. Katie is the one who tries to push Rhyn away, afraid she is not fit to survive in his dangerous world, while Rhyn is determined to prove to her that he is more than capable of protecting and loving her, though he has moments when he doubts it himself.

The black sheeps of their families, the two make a perfect match. However, it takes time until they can accept it and fully surrender to their feelings.

“I watch them watch you,” he said. “You draw them out on your runs, and I kill them. We’re a good team.”
“Until the day you’re not there.” Her words escaped before she thought to filter them.

The irony is that exactly black sheep Rhyn, the so-called traitor, is the only one capable of keeping his brothers together in the Council. He is clearly more honourable and good-hearted than Kris, who is everything but not selfless. And Katie at least can take care of herself and think for herself, things I can’t really say about Hannah, the sister who cares only about climbing the social ladder while looking pretty in latest fashion brand clothes. But family means something to them despite the fact that they are better than their siblings, another thing that makes Rhyn and Katie superior.

As for the other supernatural characters, I kind of grew a little fond of one of the Immortal brothers, Kiki, and I’m clearly starting to really like Gabriel, Death’s Assasin, who has a more important role in the story as I have initially thought. I’m not very sure what to say about baby-angel Toby, who only managed to complicate things so far, but I’m sensing there’s more to him then we tend to believe.

The novel is full of twist and turns, betrayals and unexpected alliances are formed, all of them making the book a fast-paced adventure where you often find yourself holding your breath while turning page after page. The unique story is told in a very fitting way, and one of its merits is its unpredictability. I could tell one or two things that were coming up, but never did I trully know where the plot was heading. Full of surprises – that’s how I love my books.

The ending definitely surprised me and made me jump right to the next novel in the series, a thing I can state about any of Lizzy Ford’s novels, who are cleverly ended in cliffhangers. I highly recommend this series to paranormal romance readers, with the mention that it is aimed at more mature readers (let’s say 16+).

when I read "where the name of her ancient Immortal male Rhyn, had been until he broke their mating bond two days before." I was mortified, pissed and sad. Katie brings the best out in Rhyn and I want them together! Then I read the next page and it was just a dream, and AHHHH Katie is knocked up OH MY GOD!!! yea I thought that like 500 times excited but then I thought about Rhyn that boy is NOT ready to be a daddy. Hannah and Kris are starting to get on my nerves just want to reach through the book and punch them! At least Rhyn is semi-sweet in this book, "I watch them watch you," he said. "You draw them out on your runs, and I kill them. We're a good team." I cried my heart out in this book! Once again thank the heavens I have the next book in the series!!

I don't even know what to say. What a great book. I am already anxious for book three. I loved how Ford wrapped it all up and made it believable. I really enjoyed the depth of Gabe, and his loyalty to Rhyn. Lizzy Ford is a very talented writer, and I look forward to reading everything she puts in print.

Katie's Hope ( Rhyn Trilogy Book 2)

NO SPOILER ALERTS... I love that Katie and Rhyn have such a wonderful connection and as the plot thickens I am so happy to see that they are there for each other!!! Just when you think that you know who the bad Immortal is, he or she isn't... I could not put this book down, this one was way better than the 1st, it was much easier to read and while there were so many twists and turns.. there are so many people routing for Katie and Rhyn...
Definitely would recommend because once you start you will not be able to put the book down !! ;-)

Another awesome book from Lizzy Ford!

Well, I didn’t think it was possible, but I liked Katie’s Hope even more than Katie’s Hellion.

Ford has created some fantastic characters. In this segment, we get a deeper look at who they really are. Rhyn and Katie both grow, although Rhyn still has a long way to go. I can’t wait until the moment that he clues in that he has potential. He could be so amazing if he figured it out and got rid of that huge chip on his shoulder.

I just loved Gabriel in this book, not as much as I love Rhyn, but he’s getting close. We get to learn a lot about him, so he’s not just the dark man in the corner anymore.

The storyline flows seamlessly, and the descriptions are absolutely wonderful. You just can’t help but see the world Ford has created.

Katie’s Hope is a fast passed story with many twists and turns, that had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It was unpredictable and packed full of surprises.

And holy crap … what an ending! This series is a must read for all you paranormal romance lovers.

This installment felt very much like a middle installment, nothing much was resolved as the betrayal went deeper, Katie and Rhyn didn't resolve their issues and Gabriel steps up first to set the stage for the final episode of the trilogy detailing the pettiness, jealousy, brinkmanship and sibling rivalry of the immortals ruling the earth.

I liked it and the details it gave are important but I wanted more. The only new character for this portion, Darkyn, proved to be a very worth and devious villain. The pieces of strategy to try to guess the end game for several prominent characters could almost make this a mystery. A nit to pick here was the female warriors were wasted in this fast paced piece.

If I thought I liked the first installment in Rhyn's Trilogy, then I must completely love this novel because author Lizzy Ford completely outdid herself. The story continues at a riveting pace. With the sexual tension between Katie and her mate Rynn and the war brewing between the demons and the immortals, the 2nd installment in the series takes the character development of the 1st and brings in multiple action sequences and battle scenes. I laughed and i cried in this book and then i was sad that it had to end. Luckily i just received a copy of the brand newly released third installment called Rhyn's Redemption because after reading the first two you will be desperate for the third!!

Ug! I'm so ticked off that the book ended that way (cliff hanger). I have decided that Lizzy Ford needs to quit her job, start charging for books and just write one LONG book with the whole story in it! I am a HUGE fan of the Damian series, but now I think I like the Rhyn series better. She just keeps getting better and better. Anyway, if you haven't read Katie's Hellion, go read it and then IMMEDIATELY pick up this book and read on. Dang it Lizzy, why do you have to do this to me!!!!!!!

Another great book. It was so much fun to read. The first one was slower because of character development; the second one was able to move along much faster because I was already familiar with the characters (but there was still good character development). I loved how in this book Rhyn actually becomes a good guy and I started rooting for him. He wasn't a jerk anymore but truly cared for Katie, even to the point of knowing that he needed to find sustenance from others because Katie was too weak.

Great read and can't wait to read book 3.

Rhyn half demon, half immortals gave me goosebumps whenever he didn't think to come-up w/ a decision, just do-do! never cared if he will be dead-dead! and as stupid as Katie who's really a stubborn character, if I can squeeze in to the story, I will make her see straight and never give up on Rhyn..

it got me thinking, I was angry while reading on their stupidities, but in the end of the chapter I still wanna read more, and more!

gosh I really love to see this book get through to film and watch it on big screen! loved it!

My Daddy always said the best followers always make the best leaders.
The question this book made me ask myself is do I have what it takes be a good follower. To be able to put the desires of someone before my own, could I trust someone elses judgement and vision more than my own. Could I hear and feel such contempt and doubt towards me and then Let It Go? I don't know but I'm sure that adventure would not be as thrilling as this book. With ex-cons, divorce, single moms, this book sounds like the fantasy version of my life.
VERY GOOD STORY- TELLING LIZZY!

Wow the second book did not disappoint. I already can't wait to read the third book. Katie thought things couldn't get any worse. Her sister, Hannah, is finally going to be apart of a world she always dreamed of. Rhyn made the hardest decision in his long life only to realize he was so very wrong. Gabriel wants to fight fate and has lost his free will in the process. A crazy ride into the world of immortals and demons, a 'lowly human' has more power than the strongest of them all. Could not put this down a must read. Make sure you by the third book when you by this one, you won't want to stop

arghhhh
why was this book so short???
awesome follow-up. this book had me screaming at my laptop. WTF? why are characters so stupid sometimes and so easily manipulated. why does there have to be a master puppeteer? I hate Darkyn he's the biggest douchenozzle in the history of douchebags, really.
poor Rhyn, my heart suffers alongside yours, you little heart. I can't wait to read what happens next with him and Katie. maybe their plans will not be forfeit the next time and they'll live happily ever after :)

AMAZING...this book picked pretty much where the last left off. Right back into the events and emotions. The fast paced action kept me moving through the story looking for an outcome that I suspected would never happen. So much growth in the characters and plot that I just couldn't put it down (read the whole thing today)!! The only sad part of this is that now I have to wait six months for the third book!!

Still loving this series and the characters. was hoping Hannah would be killed off. im a lil disappointed to see that her character is gaining momentum and going to be playing a larger role in the future. But im excited to see that katie and rhyn are finally coming together. The action in this book is fantastic and never predictable. again wish the books were longer. im flying through these so fast. on to to book 3.

I was totally pulled into the book. The first book in the trilogy took me a while to really get into it, but I was hooked by the end and started to the second book (Rhyn's Hope)...and this book didn't let me down. I couldn't put it down and when I did I was anxious to find a moment when I can pick it back up. Disappointed to find out that I have to wait a while for the next book in the series.

Oh thank you Lord! I just have to wait one more weekend for the third book! Wow this book was amazing! I was freaking out toward the end and I didn't know what was going to happen! But it was great and of course the ending sucked! I hate cliffhangers! But this book was awesome!

After reading book one, I feel like I had a better grasp on book two. My only complaint is that there are sooo many characters, it seems like it leads to so much skipping around. I can't wait to see where book three leads to! Really loving this series and really loving me some Rhyn ;)

Having a bit of a hard time liking Katie. She has such a "woe is me, I'm doomed" attitude throughout this installment. It's frustrating that she doesn't at least try to find ways to work things out for her and Rhyn. The story is still engaging, however, and keeps one turning the pages!

Katie’s Hope is book two in the Rhyn trilogy which takes up three weeks after Katie’s Hellion leaves off.
It seems the Immortals have no intention of letting her go and are also no closer to finding out what exactly makes her so special. Rhyn believes the only way that he can protect her is to step up and take his place among the Immortals whether they want him there or not.
The question is, will it cost him everything?
Let me first say, “Brava!” to Lizzy Ford.
This novel, in my somewhat humble opinion is her very best work to date. Katie’s Hope is a myriad of twists, turns, shockers and bombshells. From the very first page you are thrown head first into the action where she dropped you off last time.
Only this go around, there is much more at stake and time is rapidly running out.
Friends become enemies, brothers turn against each other, demons are coming out of the wood work, and there is nowhere to turn.
This book was a real page turner and I sped through it like it were a short story, only to get to the EXTREME cliffhanger ending to find out that the final installment will not be out until March 2012.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY?
Brutal torture, extreme and unusual punishment and NO FAIR!!!!
Lizzy Ford can weave a tale like nobody’s business.
Like I have said before, while creating a fictional world, her characters still have tough challenges and obstacles like we do in the real world.
However, in this book, Rhyn comes off in a much better light and is much more likable as he is trying desperately to win Katie’s affections and prove to her that he can protect her no matter what others would have her to believe. Katie does love him but is rightfully confused as what to do about it.
He has a history of being unstable and unreliable, not to mention the fact that she keeps having dreams of her death AND that Death herself made it clear that they were only living on borrowed time.
My question is this: will Lizzy drop the one BIG bombshell that I secretly yearn for most books to do?
Will there be a taste of happy ever after only to have it lost?
If anyone can do it and get away with it, it is definitely Lizzy Ford.
SIX MONTHS and counting!

Wow, the first book grabbed my attention, but this one was a real heart-breaker. Katie has decided she has had enough of the immortal world and gives Kris and Rhyn both 60 more days before she leaves. Little does she know that neither really plans on letting her go, but worse, she may not have 60 days to give.

Living at the immortal compound and working daily with Ully to try to replicate her immunity to immortal powers, Katie is plagued by dreams that leaves her in no doubt that her life will never be the same again. The council can't seem to work together, the demons are collecting in the forest near the compound, and Jade has turned traitor while Sasha seeks asylum. Just when she thinks things can't get more confusing or out of her control, Katie learns just how bad things can really get. Betrayed yet again, Katie finds herself back in hell with no doubts that she'll survive this time.

When Rhyn learns just what it will take to protect Katie, he'll sacrifice the one thing he values above everything to knock some sense into the council and get them to work together to salvage the mess Kris manages to get them into. Kris, who forever sees the worst in Rhyn, fails to see that the decisions he's made could lead to the demons defeating immortals and take over the human realm.

I have never wanted to see someone get a swift kick in the ass as much as I did Kris. Rhyn may be a little clueless when it comes to relationships, but he has a much better heart than anyone other than Katie and Gabriel believe. And when the world goes to shit, he steps up to clean up Kris' mess and at the cost of Katie. If there are two people that deserve a HEA, it is these two and it is such a struggle to watch them circle around each other, both knowing they belong together, but also knowing that they are pretty much doomed.

This book brings out the good and bad in people, and just how much power corrupts...and not just the immortals gifts, but the emotional destruction of jealousy. Again, if you like paranormal books, this is a great series.

I was definitely anticipating how this story would go, especially because Katie's Hellion was the book that got me hooked on Lizzy Ford. And let me tell you, I did not disappoint. Ms. Ford has a great talent for creating such rich and lush characters and worlds, and has a definite "knack" for getting you easily drawn into the characters and their worlds. I think that she made Rhyn much more likable in this book, as well as Kris. Sasha definitely seemed to be an all-out jackass, but isn't that the point of almost every villain? I do have to question what Sasha's goal is exactly, because (and this just may be me) it doesn't seem quite as clear as one would hope, but that may be explained in Rhyn's Redemption, which is the book I'm on now. I really liked how Ms. Ford threw in the twist of Katie getting pregnant. Rhyn becoming a father...wow! That is definitely something I did not see coming. He's gonna freak when he finds out what the baby is! I thought it was hilarious whenever (it was either Kris or Gabriel) said that "humans don't hatch". I could just see the look on Rhyn's face as he tried to make that one work! Perhaps most of all, I like how Ms. Ford builds Rhyn up to show that people, even half-demon ones, can change, and can do good. And that there is hope, hence the title....Katie's HOPE. Wonder what they're going to name the baby?

I like the brothers a lot. I'm really confused as to why there is no information on what happened to Andre. I feel like the eldest of the 7 becoming dead-dead is kind of a big deal, especially when it was the same night Katie was taken to Sasha.

I am looking forward to seeing where this trilogy ends up. It was a little cop-out-y that the contract is voided when Katie sacrificed herself, but come on - you can't kill the leading lady.

I'm not completely on board that Hannah is also an Ancient's mate, but she's bonded now so I guess she must be.

Also it doesn't make a lot of sense that Toby would age so dramatically. If he's supposed to be staying with a human family while he grows up, normal humans wouldn't like the rapid aging from one day to another. From what I understood, they just wiped the memory of the family they gave him to, and he grew up to old age and died, where he was reincarnated to a new form? I'm actually a little shaky on that, too. I don't get why an elder angel needs to be born over and over again. Maybe when he rapidly ages, they take him to a different family? I don't know, it doesn't make a lot of sense.
