Me encanta está saga. Uno puede llegar a pensar que en el libro 14 se volvería repetitivo, pero sigo leyendo libro tras libro sin poder parar. Que imaginación tiene Kim, me encanta. Todas necesitamos un Marcus en nuestras vidas, se lo pido al universo, por favor. No me queda claro si ha sido el final de la saga, espero que no, me gustaría seguir leyendo sobre Tessa y su particular familia.

A GLORIOUS ENDING!
What an amazing adventure to have been on!
Book 14 is a perfect ending to an extraordinary series starring Tessa the shadow witch. So much has happened since Book 1, when she moved to the enchanted town of Hollow Cove to live with her accomplished aunts.
Our heroine, who fought hard to become a full-fledged Merlin, is firmly committed to protecting her family and the townsfolk. In that capacity she has weathered many a storm, but is now confronted with yet another challenge. True to her feisty witchy spirit, she tackles the problem head on.
Could the presence of a new resident in town and two grisly murders be connected? As usual we are taken on a magical journey to discover the answer through the author’s brilliant imagination and creative writing.
Twists and turns, mixed with fear, tension, magic, humor, romance and an unusual ending keep us bedazzled all the way through. We are kept on pins and needles throughout the read.
All the characters Tessa’s aunts, her parents, her one true love Chief Marcus, Iris, Ronin and others, have been so interestingly portrayed in this remarkable series, their respective roles adding excitement to a wonderful narrative. The magical home known as Davenport House in which Tessa and her aunts live is sure full of surprises.

In its simplest form, evil masks itself as neighborly. The hunt begins immediately, murdering the unprepared. Tessa and her husband, police chief Marcus, will do whatever it takes to protect them, along with her aunts, who are the magical Merlin that assist in protecting their paranormal town.
Unfortunately the Merlin’s are not prepared for the level of evil they face that ambushed them.
So they scramble to get their magical forces in place to save Hollow Cove from those who plan to annihilate the paranormal and eradicate the magical.
Is it jealousy on the part of the evil hunting them? Are the villains angry they not blessed with these gifts that they must punish others and destroy that beauty in the world, I wonder? Or just insanity? Evil always thinks it is on the side of right, doesn’t it??
Regardless, it is fascinating to read the novel and know the villain receives justice (and it is handled with grace and skill from Tessa, the Merlin team, Marcus and amazing assist with an outside resource that rocks it, wahoooo!)

As an ending to the series this was a great book. I enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed all the books in this series. I will miss the witches of Hollow Cove and their side characters. It's too bad Oberyn didn't make an appearance in this last book but one can't have anything.
Without spoilers, or at least too many, Witches Hollow has a new resident. Since this is a supernatural town, everyone is curious to know who and what this mysterious stranger is. Then invitations arrive inviting a significant portion of the town's people to a meet and greet dinner at his mansion. All goes well until 5 people are found dead who attended the dinner. Each was murdered and at least two were decapitated. The Merlin witches are on the scene.
This was at times a bit gruesome with the murders and the bad guys were really bad. But the adventures, magic and suspense were very well done. I read this in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it.

The author states this is the last book in the series… at least for now. I’m hoping she goes back to this story at some point. But if not, it was an amazing ending.
A stranger comes to their town but no one knows anything about him. When we find out who he really is, it’s a shocker. I never saw the story going this way. But it was so good. Love these characters, especially Marcus and Tessa. And I especially loved the twist with House and the things he/it could do. Again, never saw it coming.
So although I am bummed this is ending, it was a great ending.

Just reread this for a second time that’s how much I love these characters!! The sister dialogue is so funny ! I actually woke my husband up giggling at Delores and Beverly going at each other like it’s an Olympic sport !! This series is amazing, especially as it continues but this book was one of my favorites. Lots of action and unknowns. It was an emotional experience. Tessa and the crew have there hands full with this mystery because it’s a threat they have never been exposed to before. On a personal note I love that the author is writing about older women ( in their prime ) in such a fun and engaging way!

Big Magic is the last book (from now anyway) to The witches of Hollow cove series by Kim Richardson.
There's a new person in town, nobody knows anything about him. On top of that some people have gotten killed in Hollow cove. Is this stranger responsible for this?
I have really love the turn this book have taken and sad if it's the last book we have of Tessa, Marcus and all of these great characthers.

Look I can accept a lot from this series. I can accept talking animals, sentient zombies and God's turning back time and changing to babies, I can even accept fairytale's breaking through worlds and even Tinkerbell joining the gang. But the house taking a physical form and becoming a butler/ ninja and then changing our MC into a gorilla is a little out there even for me. Cute story though. I tend to be generous in rating these fun quick stories so I'd give it a 4

This was probably one of the best writings of the series. There was a solid story, good build-up to the drama and some twists and turns for good measure.
I think Tessa has matured a little bit in her character, not as annoying or gung ho to immediately jump into danger.
This story was different, although of course it's always the same plot but I can forgive that since the story was very good and well written.
All in all very good and am looking forward to the next installment.

Go House Davenport
Filled with snarky humor that is all Tessa along with her husband, aunts, and friends, Hollow Cove is really the place to be whatever may be happening. All these characters have grown so much since that first book and their love and loyalty to one another continues to grow as well. I will always love visiting here.

I love the Hollow Cove Gang!
The funny and witty characters keep me coming back for every new book! I greatly enjoy the interesting yet somehow realistic (at least in hollow cove) plots together with these quirky characters. Once I start a new book, I can’t wait to finish it and then I’m sad when the tale ends lol If you like fun witchy mysteries, you’ll love this series

Amazing world building
I loved this series. Tessa is hilarious, her inner monologue sounds like myself. Although there are descriptions of her aunts, I picture them as The Golden Girls, so Ruth would be Rose and picturing Betty White while reading is awesome. I hope there will be more books about Hollow Cove.

Well, that was unexpected!
After all the foes faced in the past, I didn’t expect this one. I enjoy it when a writer can take a winning formula and keep it fresh enough not to be predictable. It’s like, I know it all works out because the heroes will win and there are more books, but how? I especially appreciated the twist ending!

Enjoyed This Series Very Much
I’ve read many books over the years and, hands down, this was absolutely the most enjoyable book series yet. Fast-paced, humorous and just all around entertaining. Onto the next series by Kim Richardson!

Magic
Having read several other stories by Kim Richardson, I was disappointed in this Hollow Cove book. Paranormal and Magic I can deal with. Shape shifting houses, gorillas, beauty contests and hunting for Sport just seemed too much. I wouldn't recommend it.

Brilliant
Couldn't put it down the entire series is brilliant. Never read anything like it before. The author draws you into their world and you live in it with all of the characters. Pure brilliance.

Hmmm...
This was a really good Fantasy book. Fantasy being the important word here.
The storyline started out good, but the house transferring unto an all-powerful person was just too weird for me.
But that's just my opinion.
