What to say....

It's just terrible and missed the connection between characters who had no personality and just icky. Caleb is your creepy uncle daddy with no backbone and has no clue what he is doing, like the author. The amount of details that went into describing the stupid stores and towns was just ridiculous. The only thing that was exciting about this book was the butterfly. Don't waste your time here.

Candy Store with Caleb is the tale of Izzy and Caleb. They are both amazing people that find love in their D/s and DDLg relationship despite the weight they carry from childhood trauma. Lucky Moon has created a plethora of enticing ways to incorporate candy into their BDSM lifestyle. This standalone Happily Ever After story is a page-turner that made me laugh and cry. My 4 star rating reflects my love for this sweet book and everything written by this author. Don't miss the bonus epilogue, it is a lovely treat. I eagerly await Amelia's story in book 2 of this Little Rock Daddies series. I received a free ARC copy of this book and this 4 star review is a reflection of my true enjoyment of this story.

Isabella's father and Caleb have been best friends since school. Isabella once called him Uncle Caleb but as she grew into a teenager, she developed a big crush on Caleb. After she turned 18, she kissed Caleb and he kissed her back. Her mother walked in and then her father. To keep her husband from yelling at Isabella, her mother said that she kissed him. Her parents ended up fighting and her mother drove away in a thunder storm and died in a car accident. Isabella never heard from Caleb again and her father has almost kept her a prisoner on their farm. He has done his best to squash out her Little. Finally Isabella has had enough and runs away to Little Rock, a town celebrates Littles. Unfortunately that is where Caleb lives and has his candy store.

Caleb feels like his whole life is a lie. He has inherited his family's candy store but traditionally the store was handed down from mother to daughter and was run by a Little. The problem is Caleb was his mother's only child and he isn't a Little. His mother warned him to never reveal that he is a Daddy Dom. The other big secret his has been hiding is his desire for Isabella. Even though he is best friends with her father, he can't keep her out of his head. Then Isabella runs away from the farm and ends up in Little Rock. Caleb has to daily fight his Daddy Dom side when he is near Isabella. However he feels like he needs to protect her.

This is a very enjoyable story that includes so many references to candy that you will need to brush your teeth! More than almost any of the DDlg books I've read, this one is simply magical. The characters are detailed, and you just have to love the strength of the fmc, Isabella. She endures a lot but is still the ever optimistic, ever playful Little. I didn't particularly care for Caleb, the mmc, since I felt he wasn't a strong, dominant character. He was actually rather spineless throughout the book, I felt. Regardless, I still enjoyed the story.

I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who is unfamiliar with the DDlg kink. While it is obviously a story about Littles and Bigs, I didn't think that the typical rule setting and caretaking aspects of the lifestyle were represented well. That being said, it's a fantastical story full of the wonder that Littles represent.

This is book 1 of a new series for this author and the 2nd book will feature Amelia, the photographer. I plan on reading that one to see how the residents of Little Rock are doing!.

Isabella runs away from home hitchhiking to Little Rock where she hopes to avoid Caleb who owns a candy store there. Caleb finds her in the town square enjoying an ice cream. They go to his store where they talk, and Caleb discovers Isabella has little money so he offers her a job. They have not seen each other in three years but both nurse a tendre for the other. Will they fulfill their urges? Will Caleb be the Daddy to Isabella's little?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Isabella and Caleb. Isabella is strong to have endured her father's treatment of her and know that she should stay away from Caleb but knowing he's the one for her. Caleb was her father's best friend until a tragic night three years prior. I feel bad that Caleb has had to hide his Daddy side because of a promise to his late mother. When the true comes out, it lands them all in trouble, but I liked the way Caleb handled it.

The secondary characters carry the story forward especially the mayor. I'm glad he's not in my life. I was glad to see Isabella's dad had an awakening also.

I look forward to the rest of the series.

Candy Store with Caleb is the first book in Lucky Moon’s Little Rock Daddies series. As with most of the first books in a series, this one sets the stage. It introduces readers to a host of secondary characters who will most likely end up with books of their own. Ms. Moon uses this first book to introduce readers to Isabella Hartley and Caleb Thompson. Theirs is a forbidden love as he was her father’s best friend. Not to give away the background story, I will not elaborate on that aspect of his life and his connection to Mr. Hartley. To find out what unfolds and if they end up together you must read this book.

Once again, Ms. Moon penned another delightful age-gap and age-play romance with strong multi-layered lead characters. Her lead characters are strong, determined, confident yet vulnerable. They are haunted by the demons of their past. I enjoyed their growth as the story progressed. Ms. Moon enhances the plot movement through the interactions of supporting characters like the mayor, Cooper, Buck Hartley, and Little Amelia. I enjoyed the strong dialog. I appreciated the multiple points of view to tell their back stories. Nicely done, Ms. Moon.

This was a really sweet story. This story is very steamy. Caleb is the owner of Sugar Rush, a Candy store that has been passed down from his mother after generations of Littles, owning the shop, and creating masterpieces of candy full of magic. Caleb is a Daddy Dom, but had promised his mother to keep it a secret. This candy store was in a town called Little Rock, it is a town full of Bigs and Littles. Craggy Hollow is where Isabella grew up with her father and her mother until on her 18th birthday. Her mother died in a lightning storm. Events happened to take Isabella out of his life until now. He has been in love with Isabella for a long time, and when he sees her again, he wants to have her in his life. What happens now is a growth that both Isabella and Caleb enjoy despite opposition and drama that unfolds. There is a happy ending for both of these characters.

Change of pace for me, but turned out good.

Very descriptive writing, especially the scenery and the candies, and it really pulls you into the universe. A low stakes read for me, which was a nice change of pace. I was able to just escape. There is a lot of playfulness, which makes sense considering everything, but it was done in a graceful fashion that made it feel natural.

My only real complaint is that I wish they spoke more during the spicy scenes. I was a little disappointed in their first time for just that reason specifically… Talking, dirty or playful or even emotional, it adds a certain something special in a spicy scene that I just feel is lacking without. Also it’s weird how little concern everyone had for the way Izzy was being treated by her father, his behavior in the diner should have had people responding much more… and he was forgiven waayyy too easily.

Fun read with a fun setting and good characters.

A fantastical town of Littles, Bigs and magical adventures.

I love the anticipation of possibilities whenever I begin reading a new series. This one features an exceptionally imaginative author!

It is hard to find a definitive good versus bad theme, there are so many shades in between. The characters are vivid, with over the top reactions, but imbued with a mixture of the best and worst of humanity.

So much about this book made me laugh, from the campy setup to the magical candy properties.

He has yearnings, Daddy yearnings and Isabella wanted to life her life, her own way, as a Little.

Caleb makes an unique Daddy Dom and I can't wait to meet the other couples in this unusual town.

Wow, this was certainly an amazing book to read, the story had me feeling hot flushes and the characters were captivating. This story was about Isabella and Caleb, Caleb owns a lollies shop he has known Isabella for a long time being good friends with her father, an incident happened and that was the end of a friendship. When they seen each other again everything comes back, now will they get that second chance that they dreamed of. This story was so hot with Dom / sub, kinky, age play, pet play. I absolutely loved reading this book I cannot wait for more.

An emotional and beautiful story of Caleb and Isabella. She decides to take the plunge and leave the only place she knows as home and go to a place where she can be the person she is, a little one. There she meets Caleb, they have known each other for years when she was young, but there is nothing young about her now because she has become a beautiful young woman. But the feelings he has suppressed for a long time can no longer be stopped and the same applies to Isabella. Can she finally be the little one she should be and can Caleb break his promise and finally be who he's supposed to be? There are plenty of exciting and steamy moments and I was really glued to their story on the edge of my seat.

I loved Candy Store with Caleb. Isabella has ran away from home, her father has turned her into a prisoner and she needs ti escape. She’s been so angry with Caleb but she needs to let him know she’s in town. After three years the attraction is still there, she still loves him. He pushes her away again but this time will he realize his mistake before it’s too late? This was such a sweet story if a little finding her Daddy. I loved the characters and how they both had to overcome issues from their past together and separately. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is what I would call sugar overload but what Little doesn’t love candy. I enjoyed the story and thought Isabella was an amazing Little who took her future into her own hands even if it was a little scary in the beginning. Caleb is hiding his true nature but Isabella is all he has ever wanted, so it is time for him to reveal his secret. This is a very entertaining story that gives us the highs and lows in their budding relationship. They have their HEA with a few bumps along the way.

A lovely age play short story romance, an older alpha male and a young virgin female little come together when she runs away from home, a second chance at romance as he was best friends with her father.

This book was so good and I absolutely love the daddy Dom and Littles stories.caleb runs the store sugar rush in a town where there are alot of daddy doms and Littles but when he has to keep his secret will he break his promise to win back the only woman he has ever wanted? Isabelle is being controlled by her father and runsaway and goes to the town where Littles can be free but will she be able to forgive Caleb for breaking her heart? Cute story and smoking hot sex scenes.

The candy store with its magic was a little confusing to me at first. I wondered where the story was going, but the characters pulled me in and kept me there. I liked how Caleb worked thru his issues because Izzy coming to town was definitely his turning point. The story made me wish there was a Sugar Rush in my own Little Rock

Candy Store with Caleb is the first book in a new DDlg series written by one of my favourite authors... Lucky, is an amazing author her books have great characters and solid plots, her writing style is easy to read and story lines that flow naturally, and make the kink of DDlg less intimidating (normal). There is a significant age gap between Caleb and Isabella, but reading their story was so enjoyable. I love that they got a happy ending and can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

This story is a slow burner. Even though Izzy is a sweet hurt little she is hiding. So is Caleb. And the lies and deceit come and bite. There are some hot sexy scenes and spankings. All the characters are well done and the story is real. I would love to see Little Rock. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. This story is a nice start to a new series from a talented author.

The main characters in this book are so loving.

This books was really cute, I love the forbidden aspect that Caleb used to be friends with Isabella’s dad. This story start off with her running around from her dad and finding an adorable small town made just for littles. Caleb and Izzy were absolutely adorable together and they had no chance at being just friends the chemistry between the two of them was too high. I also like that this wasn’t just her in little space there was more aspects of bdsm in it.
