Karen Kilby has successfully taken the difficult and obscure work of Karl Rahner and presented it in a clear, fascinating way that explains the man and his religious quest.
This summary introduction to the writings and teachings of Karl Rahner is amazing. I was deeply moved and came to such a broader understanding of this great Catholic Theologian. I’m grateful for this accessible look at a theologian whose works are often dense and seemingly inaccessible.
I've read several partial or full books on Rahner; this is so far the best one. While it is indeed meant for a mass audience than theologians, Kilby explained Rahner's core theological concepts with such lucidity and ease that even professional theologians could profit from reading it.
