A beautiful little book perfect for coffee lovers and non coffee lovers, history buffs and curious people who just love to know more about the world we inhabit. Gorgeous illustrations, fascinating historical and cultural narrative of coffee, wonderful recipes and bright and beautiful illustrations. What’s not to love!

This is a beautifully written book that explores the rich history and cultural significance of Arabic coffee.
I appreciated the author's tips and tricks for making the perfect cup of Arabic coffee, which I found to be very helpful. My personal favorite recipe from the book is the Spiced Qahwa with Chili. The recipe is easy to follow, and the resulting coffee is deliciously spicy and aromatic.

This is an exceptional and fascinating little book. I'd been in search for a book about Arabian coffee traditions, but until now all books about coffee relate to Western coffee recipes and practices. With a fun and engaging style, Medina provides a succinct history of coffee's true origins in the Arab world and its fascinating development up to the present day. Strongly recommend it to any coffee lovers or those interested in the Arab world!

The Arabica bean is the greatest for a reason, and this explains it!

An intriguing quick read that explores the vibrant tradition of coffee, especially the Arabic kind. Read this, and you won't again consume coffee in such a lifeless manner again.

DEElightuful book for all you coffee lovers. Short, intense and ultra caffeinated! You'll be rushing to brew a pot before you finish the second chapter. Available to borrow on Hoopla. Although I must buy my own copy!
