I understand that poetry doesn’t resonate with everyone in the same way. For me, this book of poetry was very relatable. I wrote the titles of 21 poems on a piece of paper. They were the poems that I found to be most similar to my life. I won’t list them all, of course, but there are 7 that are my favorites. “Growing Pains,” “The Journey,” “Unplugged,” “Judgmental,” “Disguises,” “Behind the Scenes,” and “Simple Things” stood out to me. In my opinion, this book earned every star I gave it.
