A breezy dash through a thousand years of Scottish history. A decent introduction to a complex subject, brushing across the major incidents and people with an acknowledged oversimplification. The overuse of CAPITILISATION feels like it's aiming itself at younger readers. The overuse of exclamation marks is just annoying and should have been removed!
