For such a tiny book, it covers pretty much every field of acoustics in surprisingly technical detail. I have enjoyed the book immensely, and I learned some new things, and some things were refreshed from my musical studies a lifetime ago.
The book made me excited about the prospect of musical archaeology, only to find out there is essentially no literature available, how tragic for me.
