I am conflicted
I liked the story; I just think some of the narratives I did not need because it was repetitive and rehashed a lot. The characters had a lot of personal and emotional stuff that sometimes stifled the story. I liked the way the story came together in the end.

It was ok
yeah this really wasn't my cup of tea. At about 40% I just started skipping through. The discord between MI and her sister had no real substance at all, it really was just unnecessary especially since it was established that she was like a mom to her and would do anything for her. I could see if she was always a jealous hearted person and always treated her bad but no this was so confusing that I'm sure Mi still hasn't figured it out herself. Mi's and Ki's hookup up to them reconnecting after the kidnapping was just....awkward. I didn't get any chemistry from them. We never go a real convo from them to go from a one night stand to "you're special to me even after just one night" ??? I'm all for one night stand romances in fact they are one of my fav, I just felt this storyline and the characters could have been developed a lot more. Even the arguments between his sister and him were nonsense. This was my first read by this author, I would give her another try.

This was not a good book for me. It seemed like it was all over the place and it was hard to read. The storyline was solod and I made it to the end and would have been a 3 star if there weren't so many misused words, gaps in timelines, missing details, and errors. That is what made it hard to read. The conflict between mi and her sister was weird. If was Kiari kept saying about sis was supposed to be true then that story line was not executed in an understandable way. It just felt like random things kept getting thrown in, that if they were detailed and made sense would have made the book juicier. Who was the woman on the couch with Glen? Why was sis so angry? What about the whole reason she went to jail? Where's mom? What was up with the introduction between mom and kiari? Lots of loose ends. This book would definitely benefit from having a proofreader or someone else read through it to catch these things that are missing and then being revised. With updates Easily a 4 star read.

I love this book Omg. Kiari was that man and some more you hear me. This book showed every side of working through loving your person and not giving up. Tabria should’ve just walked away and left it alone just like Trey smh. It clearly shows how you can be with someone a few months and realize they treat you better than someone you been with for years. I’m so happy they got their happy ending. Mila how you let your momma come and change you like that smh. If Kiari said she on drugs then she on drugs lmaooo but this why you gotta set boundaries with toxic people whether it’s your parents or strangers cause she drag her daughter down with her smh. Good book and I really enjoyed it. Me being me though I want more 🤣🤣

Awesome love story
Kiari knew what he wanted he grew up while his ex stayed the same her crazy tail he told u what he wants but you could not give it to him...
Now Miyanna did get on Nevers just a little bit with the back and forwards because of her past relationships with her ex kept getting in her own way and her sister was just jealous because she couldn't get her life together using all these men nothing to show for it now she in prison because of fraud just like her mom ...
And there dad did the best he could but one daughter knew she wanted more out of life while the other went to life of crime like her mom ...
And I Kalu for his sister it's just got I would have liked to see more about them as well
But other wise this was a very good book

MIYANNA & KIARI ❤️
The title definitely fit this story. I enjoyed it. Who would've thought a one night stand could turn into something more for Miyanna and Kiari. Although Miyanna was annoying at times, she did deserve to find love with a real man. I loved Kiari's take charge, no holds barred demeanor. He was definitely the man for Miyanna because she needed someone like him who was going to keep it real, especially when it came to her sister. I was hoping there would've been a little more to Mila and her issues with Miyanna and what exactly were her and the mother into. In the end, Miyanna got the happiness and support she deserved.

I didnt like Miyanna. The whole book she was annoying, childish and a cry baby. Like girl quit being so dramatic about everything. I hate when a chick is wrong and the women get on the guy like he in the wrong and want him to be patient and be the bigger person. It’s annoying as hell. She just got on my nerves the whole time especially about her sister. It was just ridiculous. Anyway I did like Kiari though. He was a real one. Tabria should have just went about her business. It’s a nice read if you can get pass Miyanna annoying a** and her mess and woe is me attitude.

I can’t stand Miyanna
After reading about 45% of the story, I had to start skipping through it. I typically don’t leave a review but this book wasn’t it. Miyanna’s character was so immature and selfish. I get that she and Kiari didn’t know each other and the one night stand resulted in the pregnancy but she’s stupid. Hell even Kiara’s behavior was questionable but he was the only person I enjoyed in this book. I’m not sure why Mika hated her sister so much, I guess the lack of the motherly love they missed affected them both. Kiari was a good one. I wouldn’t have married Miyanna selfish behind.

One Night Standaversay 🥴
I really enjoyed this book. Kiari and Miyanna were both fresh out of relationships when they had one night together. Neither knew what would come from it. I loved Kiari. He would do what he had to do to protect Miyanna. Never being in a real relationship they go through ups and downs. Family drama and crazy ex’s kept the story interesting. I didn’t like Mila at all. The interactions from the beginning showed she was jealous. This was my first read from this author. Looking forward to reading more in the future.

Overall it was a decent read but not the best that I have read from this author. I had mixed feelings about Miyanna because she was a brat and did way too much whining for someone who wouldn't open her mouth and communicate. Being pregnant and hormonal does make you sensitive but she was doing too much. Mila was a bird for real and the mom isn't really worth mentioning. Pops was the real MVP though. Kiari was cool but not book bae. The overuse of the word "irate" was kind of annoying.

This was the my first read from this author and I really enjoyed this story a lot. I love a good me night stand trope with a twist. Kairi was just chilling minding his business until he laid eyes on Miyani. She tried to make Kay hard to get but that didn’t last for that long. Sean and Bria should really meet each other and go live hea…Mila is selfish abs stubborn as a mule, You can’t expect someone to feel the same as you when they’ve been wronged. In the end I was glad that Miyani finally spoke up for herself against her sister. Good read!

I enjoyed reading Miyanna and Kiari's journey from one night to forever, but the story did feel a bit incomplete in some ways. I would have liked to know the issue with Mila acting strange towards Miyanna. This is my first read from this author, I'll definitely read from her again. I liked the storyline, just felt either it wasn't complete or the side stories weren't necessary.

Enjoyed
I enjoyed reading this well written story. The title of this book describes the story within so well. A one night stand created a great love story. The beginning was crazy and led to unnecessary issues, some drama, and a crazy, jealous exes, that wouldn't let go. This is definitely a book that I am recommending to my reader friends.

Kiari!!
I love that Kiari was a real one and stood on whatever he said. Miyanna got omn! No matter how much Kiari show her she found some way to doubt it or make it negative. Was so glad in the end that she finally got some sense. Still do understand what her sister issue was but okay.

I like Kiari
I really like Kiari, but I couldn't stand miyanna. She was so annoying. I wish he found someone else. I would of picked anyone for Kiari, just not annoying, complaining Miyanna. I had to skip several pages, so I wouldn't have to read about her complaining and crying.

Unexpected
Not what I was expecting but I love this. Miyanna was such a sweet and exciting lady. Thankful for her dad for stepping up to the plate for her.
Kiari was a man’s man who knew how to take care of business as needed.

This was a new read for me. I never read a book by this Author before but I really enjoyed it. I guess some one knight stands could turn into true love. Miyanna was getting on my nerves with her hormonal self. Kiari was a good man because I would have been left her butt. Good read.👍🏿

Pretty good read!
I liked the storyline, but the spelling errors kept me from giving this book five stars. I would have liked to know more about Mila and her mom’s arrest, but I guess that it wasn’t important enough. The attitude that Mila had toward Miyanni was confusing as well. I liked how the one night stand turned into a full fledged loving relationship.

I think I need ages of characters sometimes before reading. I felt Miyanni was extremely immature at times. The book never told us why Mila hated her sister, and nobody was looking for Brias murderer huh smh yeah it’s a no for me. I’ll try another book though to see if I like this author! Ooohhh I couldn’t stand Miyanni!!

This was a good storyline. Just felt incomplete. Like why was the sister so mad at Miyanna? Why did the mom go back to jail? Was it connected to whatever the sister did? It felt important to the story since that was a good part of where Miyanna's emotions came from. Just my opinion...

great book
I really enjoyed this book. Mila worked my nerves. She was so jealous it was ridiculous. You mad at your sister for what? She got what she deserved. I wanna hear more about Kalu and Kay Kay next. Hopefully we will get a update.

Good read and I appreciate it was a a standalone. Once Miyani and Kiari met fate couldn’t be stopped. Those ex’s were crazy and I hope Sean got to see her happy with her husband and weep!
