Part of our 3rd library haul!

It was enjoyable to have the Tiny Bear see feet and then the next page see what animal coincides with the feet they were looking at.

Would’ve preferred if there was an accurate predator to Tiny Bear as a snake saying I’m hungry to a cub doesn’t make sense in the real world.

Was surprised to see a flap aspect in the book on one page and that was fun!

Tiny Bear is very curious and starts to explore his world by climbing on things. Some things are friendly, and some things are scary. But the best thing to climb is Mama Bear. Bright bold colors bring the world of Tiny Bear to life.

Hello, Tiny Bear! is the first in a new series featuring the cuddly and curious little bear cub from Japanese creator Yosuke Yonezu. As you can see, he loves to climb things. The problem is that he doesn't always choose the best place to do so. Readers will have fun guessing before they turn the page to see what Tiny Bear will find. He encounters a flamingo, an elephant, even a hungry snake! A final lift-the-flap reveals that climbing safely into mama's lap is the best thing of all.

Fun and funny ,cute and clear illustrations, animals revealed on the page turn, and a sweet ending, this book could only get better if it was a bit bigger for storytime crowds.
